I will never return to Sears again unless it’s to return a Craftsman tool. Spent a half hour in line today trying to buy a pair jeans… twice actually… walked out first time then came back after running a few errands… there was one lady at the bank of four registers. There were multiple associates bumping around like zombies trying to look busy… when I asked if she could request another cashier she pitched an attitude… Amazing they are still in business…

Bought a small food processor for my wife here after a couple attempts to chop something as simple as an onion we decided to return it. well first they told us we couldn’t retun it because we didn’t have a box then we asked to talk to a manager well the manager was too chicken shit to come out and talk to us… seriously? Thank God I bought the protection plan and we will receive a refund of a gift card… why do I want a gift card for your crappy store. .lesson learned

Only one person working the automotive desk, only one technician working on the cars, and customers out the door. Customer Service at Sears has dropped to nill!

This 5 star rating is for the delivery of our new Kenmore dryer. The delivery guys were great! Our delivery window was between 10am-​2pm. A little after 10am they called & did arrived about 10 – 15 minutes. They were careful in removing our 14 yr-​old (Sears) Kenmore dryer using straps, because we have stairs/​hardwood floors. My hubby had questions/​concerns which were answered Respectfully & Professionally. Our brand new dryer was installed in about 35 minutes. We have a very small space/​narrow hallway for our washer/​dryer. See photo.

Apparently I should have read Unilocal before buying a Refrigerator.
Our current refrigerator died, the computer on it stopped functioning, but the inside was still cool. So we go to Sears and find a decent deal on what appears to be a great refrigerator. They offer to deliver in on the weekend for an extra $ 10. Great. Happy customer.
Then the thing arrives and it has two big dents in the front. Looks like another refrigerator fell into it. So the manager calls us, asks if we want to refuse delivery, and then says she’ll call back. They say they’ll replace it with a new one and have it delivered. So we say OK. The delivery guys pack it back away.
They drive off and she calls back. Says they should have offered to leave the old one, but didn’t. Additionally, they can’t deliver the new one until Thursday, and for some reason (5 minutes later) it’s impossible for them to deliver the one that was literally on my doorstep 10 minutes ago. They’re willing to deliver the refrigerator 4 days later with a 10% discount, but that’s as far as they can go. I talked to another manager, and he gives me the same story. I spent about 15 minutes talking to them, and they couldn’t present me with any other options.
I haven’t received customer service this bad ever. Not from a phone company, not from a cable company. Not from anyone.
I got a call from a different customer service rep from Sears, and he was more helpful, but I’m still waiting to see if it gets better. If they can deal with this tomorrow, I’ll edit this, but as of now I am extremely displeased.

Over the years there are certain stores that have a reputation for the quality of the products they sell and the service they provide.
Sear was one of those companies growing up that my family patronized based on those fundamentals. Over the past five years of living
in Ventura and doing very select business with them I’ve come to the conclusion that those days are gone and not returning anytime soon.
Of the three Major purchases I’ve made with them, All have had issues. (Tires, appliances, and tools.) Surprising because these are the backbone
of what Sears is known for. Sad to say but with each purchase they have failed miserably. Poor customer service, cancelling orders with no justification,
not replacing parts on vehicles, damaged goods, notifying me of orders that arrived and when I went there (3) times to receive them they were not received /​delivered. Really? My time is valuable. Gas, time, money and to shrug your shoulders, apologize, and throw a few (expired) coupons at me for stuff you probably
don’t even have in stock is a sure indication why your company is failing and will soon be closing. Bye, Bye! Sears you lost my hard earned dollars.

Can I give less than one? I used to work for Sears Corporate back in 2001, I had no idea the company had slid this far to the dark side. What a disaster.
I ordered over $ 4K or exersize equipment on their sale on 11/9…they scheduled the first available delivery of ¹¹⁄₂₆ — WTF?
I called back to verify my order (call #1) due to the high purchase amount, then had to call again to reschedule the delivery (Call#2) — hung up on in transfer, called again (Call#3) — rescheduled for ¹²⁄₁. Third party installer begins calling me endlessly to confirm a time for assembly (Calls 4, 5, 6, 7) — set for ¹²⁄₂ assembly.
Delivery guys call me 2 times to confirm on ¹¹⁄₃₀ — show up at my house and take one look at my white carpet and say they need 2 more guys. THEY HAVE TWO GUYS! So they leave and tell me I have to reschedule. No name or number to call and they bolt.
I go to Live Person chat and get Frazier who appears to be helping me reschedule but instead comes back to tell me he has gotten me a $ 100 refund on my delivery charge. My delivery was $ 189 — thanks so much for such a generous refund. (Call #8)
He then instructs that I have to call another number to reschedule — ok, so (Call#9) where I speak to Ms Robotron who tells me best they can do is ¹²⁄₅.
(Call#10) is then to reschedule the assembly person.
A month and 2 days and I still don’t have my order… Sears Sucks, I ordered online and Ventura is supposed to be handling the delivery.
It appears all of their systems are interlinked and hopelessly FUBARED. It is a massive Cluster of calling customer service to get Robotron. Sears and Roebuck are spinning in their graves right about now.

My Kenmore refrigerator, purchased at Sears, stopped cooling the fresh food area of the frige. I called to report this and ask for non-​warranty repair on July 30^th. (This would be a customer pays cash transaction.) The Sears rep in Arizona said he could make an appointment for my Kenmore refrigerator to be checked by an authorized repair person on August 8^th.
Nine days seems like too long. Far too long.
The rep was well trained and professional at all times. It must be hard to work for such an employer.
[By sifting through Unilocal Appliance Repair a couple of likely ones appeared. The first one I called said he could be here in 15 minutes on leaving his current repair job. After job is completed today I’ll post that review.]

Don’t get extended warranty. They are not honored or will give you a run around to get service. Washer and dryer problems. They order parts before the repairman comes out. 5 – 10 working days. after you receive parts call repairman?

Well for starters I walk in and there are 5 people in the Men’s line, the mall JUST opened and they all look pissed. I shop around find some clearance stuff and I price check it, none of it is marked right but at least it was less than the tag said.
I walk through the appliance dept and 2 guys literally were all on their ipads hunched over some washers and dryers and another on his personal samsung phone chit chatting away. They all collectively looked up at me like hungry dogs clustered and looked back down. I was browsing fridges and ovens but I was dressed in clothes from working outside. Im pretty sure I just got judged on appearance and decided they’d wait for a easier pigeon/​stooge. Great job guys, dont even ask me what’s up.
In Tools I didnt even see anyone, the whole time. As I am leaving however I saw one cashier though with 4 people deep, then some salesguy shows up chuckling about something with him and walks through the register area everyone staring and back out to the floor. I mean these people were pissed…
Stopped to use the restroom and the urinal is covered with bags and there is throw up in one? Im actually adding the picture so check it out, its gross… Once again the store had JUST opened up for business. Someone parked a cart infront of the restrooms but there was NO one in 100 miles of it. Employees went into the restroom ignoring it. So I go to a stall, the toilet paper dispenser FALLS OFF THE WALL. Im just amazed…
I go to the fitting room to try on their ralph lauren knock off «US polo» and there is guess what, ANOTHER LINE. I wait and it seems like they locked 2 rooms in Mens because they were full of clothes… so we are all waiting for one stall. I ask a member of staff where I can go to try them on and says downstairs in the one stall fitting room in Lands End. So I go do that, what a pain in the… yeah…

I buy a lot of tools from here. It is conveniently located by my house, and since I do a lot of work on my own I am constantly coming back to buy tools. It may be for a bathroom remodel, it may be because I am changing the starter in my car. Whatever the reason, they usually have what I need at a reasonable price. Checkout times are usually pretty reasonable… I wouldn’t classify as fast or slow. My most recent purchase was a $ 600 toolbox, and it came in two days and is the nicest box I have come across that wasn’t snap on. I will be back, probably before the end of the month…

The latest company to join my LIST OF LOSERS is SEARS…
I ordered a pair of work boots for my son for Christmas. The boots arrived in the mail pretty fast. I left them in the shipping box until this weekend. When I opened them to wrap them, The original box was smashed and I noted that they were a display model with several price tags on them. The boots had been laced and were dirty. I cleaned them up and they will do (as I don’t have time to return them and mail them before Christmas).
The point is when I PAY for something NEW, I expect something NEW.
I contacted SEARS and got a total BS answer from their customer relations people… PITIFUL!!!
WARNING… If you want to order something on-​line, go to anyone but SEARS!

I came to Sears because my car died and I bought my battery from them that seemed to be of good quality. The people at the front seemed pretty nice at first and I gave them a good review before I took my car home. They put in a new alternator for me but the next morning before work my car would not start. I called them, gave my car a jump start and drove it back over to them to look at. They charged my battery but said the alternator was tested and it was working. I didn’t understand that all. Why they didn’t charge my battery before was strange to me. The next day my car wouldn’t start again after sitting over night so I called Sears again. They told me to go to a specialist and that they didn’t have the diagnostics to test my alternator so I took it to a different mechanic who told me the alternator they put in my car was bad. My mechanic drove my car after charging the battery for me over to Sears and told them they needed to give me a new alternator because he tested it and it was bad. They put in a new alternator for me and my car seemed to work great after that. Two weeks went by and my car’s battery light went on. I took it back to my mechanic and sure enough he said Sears put ANOTHER bad alternator in my car. I called Sears again and they said they would put a third alternator in my car with free labor but I decided to have my mechanic put in one that I know will work. I asked them if I could get my money back on the second bad alternator and they said no, they could only replace it with my warranty. They may have gotten their money from me but that will be the last cent.

Only go to this Sears automotive store if you can afford to miss a day and a half of work. I took my car in to this shop for a simple brake job and was told 5 different times for the job to be completed. I dealt with their guy named Greg, who I talked to four times and who could’ve given me a more reasonable time frame so I could’ve made arrangements and planned my day better.
I brought my car in at 10 am and was told that it would be ready between 2 and 3 pm the same day. Then it was 4 – 5 pm, because they ordered the wrong part. Then they told me it would be ready between 6:30 — 7:30. At 8:00 pm the correct part didn’t arrive yet and I was told that it won’t be until the next day till they could finish the job.
One of their «customer service» reps said their experience with brake jobs is that it always takes longer — why didn’t they put that experience to use and tell their customers a more realistic time frame then?
I do not expect a brake job to be done in two hours, however, I expect to be given a more reasonable time frame of when the job will be completed especially when I take my car in to a shop that supposedly specializes in automotive repair.
All in all, I wasted a day and a half of waiting for this Sears auto shop to complete a brake job. The manager of the store told me he’s concerned about the customer service they provide, and to assuage my feelings he gives me a free oil change worth $ 31 and took out $ 53 out of the service charges. After all that I still ended up paying close to $ 450. He wouldn’t admit that his guys screwed up, no surprise there, and he didn’t offer an apology for the delay. I finally got my car the next day at 11 am., with no manager in sight.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, I wouldn’t recommend taking your car to this shop.

Purchased a washer from sears. Service was average. Delivery was on time.

I came here to look at the potential sales, and I must admit I didn’t find anything worthy to buy on my visit there. However, it’s worth noting that this particular Sears has three stories which are divided quite neatly. First floor has women’s clothing, shoes, jewelry, and a Land’s End section. Second floor focuses mainly on men’s clothing, and the third floor has appliances. And it looks big thanks to the fact it’s a three-​level store (most Sears stores I’ve been to have one or two levels). Enough said.

I bought a Kenmore 21 cu ft refrigerator at Sears. It is a single door, top freezer.
This is not a good piece of equipment. I opened the door after 2 days, & the drinks in the door were not cold. The door shelves in the freezer are also too warm. I returned the refrigerator & got a identical model. Same problems. The door shelves consistently have a temperature of 12 degrees above normal temperatures for an appliance. I have to run this piece of junk with both dials turned up to 75%. The motor is noisy, and because it now runs all the time, it is disturbing.
Also, I have been waiting for a rebate for 2 months, and it has not arrived.
Advice: choose another brand

I always get my oil changed here b/​c it’s walking-​distance from the Pacific View Mall or Danny’s Deli. The guys are always really nice and helpful. Oil changes are about $ 22 – 40 depending on the oil you choose and are done within 30 minutes. My car would probably be running on fumes if I didn’t have the handy mileage sticker reminder they put up after each change!
