Patricia is the best server in the world. Ask for her, shes amazing. Fire that dumb black woman manager. Shes an idiot. Every time we go in there, the place is filthy and she is doing a piss poor job of expoing. Not an effective manager. Its like she is always busy doing something but its always at the wrong time to be doing. The polish woman is far better at running the show.

I am not sure why the average is three stars, when the service falls to a mere half a star. This is the worst Denny’s I have ever been to! I went there with a group of friends the day of Black Friday at around 4:30ish. The hostess sat us down at a round table that was position in the worst spot imaginable — by the two kitchen doors and the service station. We requested if we could have a booth, but the hostess said that five people wouldn’t fit and that was the only table available. Let me say that being so close to the kitchen doors, my meal was accompanied by the many inappropriate comments and conversations of the kitchen staff and servers. But that was not the worst of our experience… our waiter was! First of all, he looked like he did not want to serve us, he looked so upset that I was afraid to even talk to him. I was afraid that if I requested too much, he might spit on my meal. My friends ordered some appetizers including the mozzarella sticks and the zesty nachos. My friend asked the waiter if he could put the sour cream on the side. The waiter just rolled his eyes and said yes. That is so rude! You do not roll your eyes at the customers! Our waiter asked us what he wanted to drink. My friend ordered a iced coffee and the waiter never even asked if she wanted unsweetened, black, with cream or anything of that sort. He literally just gave her what ever he wanted. The waiter then asked us what we wanted to ordered in the most rude tone. We all placed our orders. I must admit that the food came out really quickly. I was not disappointed. However, my veggie burger had a lot of onion. I had to picked the onions out because they added too much. I must had removed 75% of my onions, that is a ridiculous amount. When the zesty nachos came out there was no sour cream. My friend inquired if the waiter was going to bring the sour cream, to which he responded they had no sour cream. My friend then told him, why he did not say that before we actually placed an ordered for zesty nachos. The waiter said, they do not have sour cream and he was sorry, touched my female friend on the shoulder, as if they had some camaraderie, and walked away. It was very inappropriate and awkward. I figured a good restaurant would inform their customers they do not have a certain key ingredient. This is not that restaurant. Why the rude waiter did not tell us before? Who knows! We asked him for ranch and napkins and the waiter just gave us the most annoyed face, and nodded. We all left the restaurant as soon as we could. I felt that when ever he walked by he gave us the dirtiest looks. I did informed the cashier that our waiter did not tell us there was no sour cream for the nachos and for the inconvenience, she did not charge us for the item. I do not recommend this location.

Been here long ago and it was ok. It’s Sunday at 11:00 am and many restaurants aren’t open yet. This place is very busy, parking lot full. Checkin is disorganized. They are not calling names out loud enough over the crowd. Is the fact that so many restaurants closed for breakfast due to our economy. Anyway. We were seated quickly and our server appeared promptly. So things are looking up!

The food is fine and the coffee is very good. But the servers are fantastic. Jose is kind and polite and Johnny and Esmerelda couldn’t be nicer. It is a pleasure to dine here.

As the proclaimed«Duchess» of this Denny’s location, it’s my duty to update my review. Since my last one-star review was posted, I’ve returned to here several times because this is the only 24-hour dining option in the area. The servers that I’ve encountered since my last horrific experience have been great! They’ve also renovated the inside of the restaurant so it looks brand new. I’ve also made a new discovery: Brooklyn spaghetti and meatballs! This may make you question my taste in food but, believe me, it’s really tasty. The seasoned fries are pretty addicting as well.

Came here for a quick casual breakfast with my friend. I ordered the all American slam. Comes with hash browns, eggs, toast, 2 bacon strips and 2 sausage links. Upon the arrival of my food, I noticed I had 2 and A HALF sausage links on my plate. Looked like someone had taken a bite out of one and put in down on my plate accidentally. UGH! The waiter seemed quite puzzled when I showed him. He remarked that it’s only supposed to come with 2 sausage links. He took the plate away and promptly returned with a new one. I ate a little but was still pretty skeeved out. After all that, the waiter seemed pretty friendly and attentive which is why I gave 2 stars. Hopefully he is always like that. Upon checkout, we were asked how everything was. We said not very good. The girl just kind of looked at us confused. I started to explain what happened but she just started talking to two other employees mid story. I don’t really have high expectations when I visit a Denny’s…it is what it is. I was just not expecting half eaten food to be served on my plate. I cannot say for sure, but it is my theory that the cooks and possibly waitstaff eat in the kitchen while working. Also I could smell the bathrooms from the checkout stand. I think our next quick casual breakfast will be across the street at IHOP.

This is an okay Denny’s, but I’ve had better at other Denny’s so I’m giving it 2 stars– I’d give 2.5 if I could. The food was standard Denny’s fare but the service was a bit lacking. As one example my soda was’t refilled until toward the very end of the meal, and I had to ask. They were quite inattentive. In addition, the kitchen is oddly placed and the layout a bit odd. This is ok for a quick bite on the way to the mall but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way for it.

It’s Denny’s, what can I say? We needed a fast and cheap breakfast before my flight that morning. Service was a 5 out of 10. The older lady forgot our coffee and she kept messing up the orders of the people next to us. Food was average as you would expect, except for the hash browns which were greasy and crunchy and good!

I only came here with a group after a night out. Basically I just came and had a glass of water. Then I left. But my friends got a Bacon-Syrup milk shake. Yuck! I didn’t even want to taste it. They said it was good, though. Sorry, this is a mediocre review.

Ask about Denny’s new Bacon Triangle. It’s a feature of entrees and treats with bacon in, out and all over them. The bacon sundae has my attention. Bacon, maple syrup, ice cream and bacon bits all throughout. Whoa. Now about this location. It’s super duper laid back like any diner you’d come by in the sticks. The servers while they maintain, ahh fuck it. here’s the thing. A lot of them are Mexican American and from the look of their faces and when they talk amongst themselves, they speak in espanol. When they try to make contact with you, though their responses or questions are almost contrived, you can tell that they are trying. It catches me off guard, because in an innocent and polite way the dude is sincere. «Boy, the weather today is looking great» As if they were given a handbook on common suburban phrases to ignite a polite conversation. Good stuff. To recap, good service, good food and Denny’s now offers some meal options that are kinder to your wallet. Weekday lunches are never too busy and they have their own parking lot.

Best Denny’s I’ve been to. I regularly make the drive out here from Deerfield because I enjoy it as a cheap-er place to have a sit down meal with friends at any hour. At times they get busy, which is when they can get disoriented, causing wait times to rise, but that’s to be expected. The servers are friendly if you show them a little respect, and can be true characters if you come in often enough and get to know them. Best times to come is early in the mornin around 2. Definitely one of my favorite places to have a meal.
