We were told the glasses would take one week to arrive. When we called a week later we were told 7 – 10 business days. 1 pair arrived at the store on the 10th business day(that’s 2 weeks). The second pair arrived almost 3 weeks after they were ordered. The lenses were cut to the wrong prescription. The final pair of glasses with the correct lenses finally arrived almost 4 weeks after the original order. When we picked them up there was no one there to adjust our bill or compensate us in any way for the inconvenience. We will not be coming back to order new glasses.

I recently left the workforce and became a full-time graduate student. I’m relieved of the responsibility of having a job BUT I no longer have free medical/vision/dental insurance. Boo to paying for a vision exam out-of-pocket. Last year, I made the mistake of going to Wal-Mart for my annual eye exam. Big mistake. Surprisingly, Sears is similar in price but is a much better experience overall. The optometrist and staff are much more competent and friendly. They also have a good supply of eyeglasses and contact lenses and will definitely try and get you a good deal, if possible.
