Food is great, not full of fat etc. service is fantastic, the folks are super nice. Always have a great dining experience. It is fast food so don’t expect an elaborate sit down restaurant feel. It’s retail and its good!

Formally called «Seasons of Japan», but was forced to change their name when the licensing agreement with the Seasons of Japan went sour.
旧名シーズンズ・オブ・ジャパン（日本の四季）が新名「スーパー・ボウル」として生まれ変わった。でも店の内容はわかってない。ファーストフード店のようにカウンターでオーダーして先払いのシステム。
料理：ラーメンや寿司もあるがそれらはお勧めではない。ここは肉！ヒレの牛肉ステーキとか胸肉のチキンが美味しい。値段も1200円ぐらいなので安い。ボリュームも十分。
店内は広々していて客数は少ない。とても快適に食事ができる。
使い方：ランチが人気。ご飯と肉と野菜のセットがあるのでこれでバッチリ。夕食はどうなんだろう。僕はランチに行ったのでアルコールがあるのか不明。ソフトドリンクは飲み放題のセルフサービス。
ここは日本食？
どうなんだろう。鮨やラーメンがあるので日本食と言えるがちゃんとした日本料理を期待して訪れない方がいい。肉の味付けが日本風味なのでご飯と相性がよくて嬉しい。「孤独のグルメ」で主人公がブラジル料理店で肉を食べるシーンがあったが、ここはそのシーンを思い浮かべる感じのお店だ。いかにも個人営業であり安くて日本人の口に合う。

Really happy with this place-​some friends and I tried this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Quality of food was great, speed was impressive, and the place was spotless. Only complaint was the soda machine was out of most of the syrups. It took 5 attempts of different flavored before I found a soda that was «in stock».
Can’t wait to add this place into my lunch break rotation!

I’ve been wanting to come here for awhile now and we were in the area so we decided to try it out. It was actually very good. For a family of 5, $ 50 is very reasonable. Sushi was good, the teriyaki chicken was very good. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed dining here!

If you’re searching for Japanese food around Vernon Hills, don’t judge this place by its star rating. The first thing you notice about Seasons of Japan is how clean and spacious the restaurant is – even the kitchen is clean. That’s always great for a fast food/​quick order place.
I ordered the sashimi bento, which came with sashimi (tuna, salmon, and I forget the last type), California roll, tempura (shrimp and vegetables) and edamame. The sashimi and California roll were fresh, but the only comment I have about the sashimi is that the pieces weren’t uniform and some were larger/​smaller than others. However, it is still good value for your money. The tempura shrimp and vegetables were crunchy and the dipping sauce tasted authentic (personally, that’s my make or break factor for tempura).
Other good things about this restaurant are: fast service, that soda machine that has a million choices (peach/​grape Fanta, vanilla ginger ale), and free coffee (4 types!)! All in all, I enjoyed dining there and you’ll get full for under $ 10.

This place is cheap, clean, fast, and good! Ordered a little of everything and was pleased with all of the food. The ramen was a huge surprise! I thought it would be «ok,» but it surpassed my expectations by 10! I could def eat their ramen every day… it tasted better than some of these hipster ramen places in the city.
If you’re around here don’t pass up trying it out!

While there today we learned that the name slightly changed. Good thing the food hasn’t! Beef was real sirloin, and the shrimp were so good. Yum!

For a fast food Asian restaurant they were very good. I ordered the pork ramen bowl and pretty decent. Had plenty of sauces to spice of the ramen. My wife had sushi and it was well made.

Overall disappointed.. I ordered Pork miso ramen and received its was ice cold. Manager reheat in the microwave is that a joke. Overall taste was gone. Ramen noodle soak up all the both, The bowls is so tiny with a topping of 2 small piece of pork. I left unimpressed and still hungry .I eat ramen once a week from East coast to West coast. overall big disappointed. not worth the any price.

u wanna know something, this place actually aint that bad… its a ‘fast food japanese’ restaurant and so we were skeptical at first but were very happy with the food… surprisingly not bad…
we shared the ‘superbowl’ which has steak, shrimp and chicken… very good
we shared the udon soup… which was very good as well
we also had the cali roll, very good
the ramen miso soup was also very good
we were very impressed with the prices too… we will definitely be back soon

Vernon Hills Best Kept Secret!
It’s healthy Japanese Steakhouse fast food. It’s delicious & super reasonable. You can dine in or take out. It also has super cheap fresh sushi rolls, if you prefer sushi.
I have referred several people in the area to this fast casual restaurant, and they always make a point to thank me for telling them about this place. I have yet to hear anyone is disappointed.

Really good food, fast service, and very clean. I go here pretty often and not once have they disappointed me.

I had take out late on Friday evening. Large teriyaki bowl with brown rice and all meat. Quick and fresh with just the right ratio of meat to vegetables. Added sauce from the condiment bar. They should really offer small containers for take out condiments.

Went in for lunch yesterday because I wanted something new and delicious. I had the large super bowl with chicken and steak with the white sauce to go. From my first experience there and tasting the food, it was pretty solid. For $ 10 it was filling and delicious. Cost effectiveness and food quality are at a good balance so you can’t go in expecting the best steak you’ve ever ate.
The place was pretty empty but I went in just after lunch time. Very clean and open, a pretty large space maybe too large for this establishment. Looks almost like a diner that you’d go eat with your family but the food is closer to take out. I get fast casual, this one seems to do it decently well.
So they have ramen… for a good price. I wanted it so bad but just like other places i’ve inquired they do not do carry out for it. I never understood why since I know there are containers large enough for soups. I will have to sit down next time to try it though. The white sauce is great… at first, then it’s good. I feel like you need to ration it out or else it’ll be too much half way in so be cautious and don’t drown your food in it.
All in all I ill go back for sure, I did read about the phone number deal and the «points» so i opted not to give it to them. Online ordering is available but still a little off. When i tried ordering a large steak bowl I wasn’t able to complete it without making it a combo of some sort which i did not want. Order took about 5 – 7 minutes when placing it in person anyways, but then again it was pretty empty. Great on the run good for that asian style fix. Pretty competitive area but they’re at a prime location so with a few tweaks they could do really well. Give it a shot.

The place was very clean and the interior was very nice. Food was average and quick. But this is a Japanese «fast food» place, so I wouldn’t expect more. The presentation of the food is very nice as well. I will go back if I’m ever craving a quick meal and I don’t wanna go through the drive thru.

How did I just found out about this place? I am a frequent shopper at the petsmart in this same shopping center. Previously after shopping at petsmart I would go dine at the Noodle and Co. But that place is very medicore and really only the padthai is worth any good. Per usual, I stopped by petsmart after work, grabbed a few things and for some reason, I saw this place, and immediately I parked and went inside, even though I had bough live fish… I figured I can spare 5 extra minutes! And yes I CAN! Very reasonably priced, but of course, portion is adjusted to the price. Ordered the ramen, which was good, 6.99, filled my hunger. Will be back to try some more stuff, particularly this place is set up like a starbucks but much more space and free wifi, and you can actually have a meal!

Great fast casual dining place. There are reasonable options for all tastes although I find I personally would like to have more than the 2 – 3 staple items I order. We started getting the express bowls and then I switched to the steak and shrimp entrée. I like the way the shrimp are grilled. The bowls are wonderful. I would like to see like a more traditional fried rice as it is really brown rice. They have bento boxes which are a mix of items they offer including Sushi.
The thing I like most is that we have a restaurant that everyone agrees on when usually someone ends up staying home cause they do not like the place picked. If you are in the area, you must at least try this place.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Where else in the area can you get tasty steak (whether its really filet mignon or not, it’s delicious), vegetables, and rice, the ability to doctor them up with hot sauce, white sauce, teriyaki or ginger sauce, and still pay less than $ 10? Please tell me and I’ll eat there too.
Restaurant is clean, staff is nice, and they have one of those magic Coke machines where you can flavorize your drink cherry, vanilla, etc. If you want to spend $ 25 per person including tax and tip, there are quite a few Japanese restaurants where you will get the same quality of food as this.

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews — Considered it’s an asian fast food kind of place, the food is good and the whole interior is very clean. You can’t really expect high quality sushi from a fast food kind of place and for how much the prices are — It’s cheap. That’s why it’s considered fast food. If you’re looking for higher quality sushi/​japanese food, I’d suggest going to Sushi Kushi.
But overall, this place satisfies my quick cravings. The rice bowls are a good amount to make you full and it tastes good. The atmosphere is calm and the biggest plus for me is how clean everything is.
I would definitely keep going!

Got the chicken teriyaki express bowl (their express bowls are half off till the 27^th or 28^th of April, limit ONE half off price per person) Nothing too special about it… Taste like food court food… With the price, I rather go get carry out from Sakura of Japan from Hawthorne Mall… Just feel like that one tastes better…
No phone orders btw. You can order online though.
They are very un Eco friendly… Esp with those styrofoam plates and cups… But what can u expect right? You get what you paid for.
I will return to try their sushi rolls.
