This place is so great! It is right next to the airport, so it’s fun to watch the planes. The menu is huge and everything that I have tried has been delicious! My grandfather eats there often for any meal of the day. We love to go whenever we visit!

Wow what a place! The menu is huge! The food is always consistent. Sit by the window and watch the planes landing and taking off. Talk to one of the kids learning to be a pilot. Can’t beat the price of drinks. All day every day… And they don’t hold back on the liquor. I love their tuna. And they really pile it on and high. Their fried green tomatoes are some of the best I’ve had. They have a special on the filet mignon that can’t be beat and always delicious and done just right. Staff, well I can only say they are superb. Friendly and knowledgable. Many locals come here every day, because the food is that fresh. Daily specials and an array of fresh homemade soup. Pat and chuck, the owners are greeting you and cooking. Lois always there with a smile on her face. No reservations, but never waited longer than 20 min for a table. Busy during season though. And now they have alegiant air coming in and out of the place. A must place to eat. Love this place and I always come here when I’m in town.

Not only does CJ Cannon’s offer an excellent variety of delicious food, but it also has outstanding service! The servers are so friendly and attentive; they make the dining experience at CJ Cannon’s the best! The food is well-priced and the portions are quite generous. If you are ordering dessert, do not miss out on the key lime pie and the peanut butter fudge pie!

So you know this place is great when your picky teenagers give it 5 stars. Well deserved CJ Cannon’s! We were in search of brunch and found a well priced menu with plenty of options to satisfy all. Presentation was nice, the atmosphere was welcoming with the expected aviation theme. Young and old alike would enjoy watching the planes take off and land. We enjoyed the Louisiana Omelette, the Corned Beef Hash Eggs Benedict & the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits.

This is one of those places that is really off the beaten path, hard to find, but worth the effort. It is located in the Vero Executive Airport, quite close to the runway. This is a really small airport, with not a lot of air traffic, but an international flight training school that probably creates a lot of their customers.
A friend recommended this restaurant as a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We searched it out for lunch and what a great lunch it was. I chose the Fried Breaded Grouper Fingers which came with Hush Puppies and Coal Slaw and was a real plate full of goodness. My luncheon partner selected the Grilled Mahi Sandwich, served on a Toasted Kaiser Roll. The fish was tender and moist and was grilled perfectly. It also was served with their delicious Cold Slaw. She raved about her sandwich.
If you are ever in this part of Florida, search out this great restaurant. You’ll be glad you did. Food is very good, servings are plentiful, service is great.

Friendly service, excellent food at a reasonable price. Tucked into the local airport. Added bonus was watching planes land on runway. Would definitely return!

My favorite restaurant in all of Indian River county! The service is always fast and friendly, the décor is beautiful, and so is the view! For breakfast, I recommend their warm brie bagel, salmon bagel, or fresh berry bowl! For dinner, their prime rib is out of this world! Their shrimp scampi over pasta is also very good! My favorite sides here are sweet potato and rice. You always feel like you’re at home when you’re at CJ Cannon’s! I recommend getting a booth window seat for the awesome view!

Great service, great food, and awesome view. Everyone was more than friendly and we never felt risked. I had the Captains Platter, which was exceptionally delicious. This spot had been added as one of our favorites to visit during our trips to Vero.

C J Cannon’s Restaurant and Lounge, Vero Beach FL Flew into the Vero beach airport to have breakfast at C J Cannon’s on Friday, July 10th, 2015. It was a great breakfast date. The restaurant is located inside the Vero Beach Airport. The restaurant was nothing to write home about; it feels like an old golf club. The place look old. The service was fine. The food was fine, the price high. Would we go back? Not really, the place is like a Denny’s. Nothing impressive.

I ate dinner at C.J. Cannon’s Restaurant & Lounge in Vero Beach, FL on 4÷22÷2015. It was my 1st time there. Both Ed and Louise of Historic Dodgertown recommended it to me. It is located right across from Historic Dodgertown at the Vero Beach Airport. I had their past with chile cheese for under $ 8.00. I loved the décor of the place and Lewis, my server, did a great job. Plus, I took photos.

Had heard about C.J. Canons for years and finally decided to go. We went for breakfast. Food was good, good coffee too, and the view was spectacular of the planes taking off and landing. You’ll see everything from learjets to antique planes.

Food was decent and portions were fine. Good deals on drinks — two drinks for price of one. Service was really really bad though. Staff interrupted our dinner constantly. No waiting for breaks in conversations at this place. It was really excessive otherwise I wouldn’t even mind. It was kind of absurd. Right in the middle of jokes and stories the server would interrupt. It was a once a year gathering of family. The staff were pretty scarce and blunt with hospitality. No shortage of food but a drought of hospitality. We weren’t there long but we were rushed out quick. The staff were circling around like vultures ready to take our plates. I was asked if I was finished while I had food in my hand and a quarter of my entrée left. The setting was really cool — it’s right at the Vero Beach Airport and you can see small jets taking off as you dine. It could have been really nice given the setting but it wound up being the biggest dud in our four day mini Christmas vacation.

We have been here several times for lunch and dinner, kind of our go-to place when we are too tired to make dinner. Large menu, but I have my favorites — tuna melt, chicken parm sub, Cobb salad. My husband is an aviation guy, so we love sitting at the window to watch the air traffic. Off topic… but the windows are always clean! Service is always good, the food is fresh, appropriate prices. They do seem to cater to the older clientele, often we hear someone asking what the pudding options are. No matter, we’ll keep going even though we are always the youngest ones there(35 and 38).

What a cool spot! A friend took me here for breakfast while I was in town. At first I was a little confused when he pulled into the parking lot of the Vero Beach Airport. I enjoyed looking at the planes outside and then realized there was a restaurant there as well. Neat! He explained a bit of the history of the building as we were on our way in. We had a great view of the runway and were able to watch planes taking off and landing all during our meal. They had a great selection on their menu and I loved the breakfast casserole and biscuits that I ordered. I’m quite certain it wasn’t even remotely good for me, but it tasted so good that I totally forgot. The service was great and the prices were cheap. You got a lot of bang for your buck. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back in the future. Its a hidden gem that anyone who is in town should try out.

This restaurant is located at the airport so you get a nice view of the airplanes taking off and landing. It seems like a popular local joint and everyone here is extremely friendly. I ordered the white chicken chili and coworker ordered the regular chili as an appetizer. Both were delicious but the white chicken chili was a little salty for my taste. I had the oriental chicken salad which is a huge portion. Tons of chicken, lettuce, celery, carrots, almonds, and crispy wontons. The sesame ginger dressing is very light but flavorful. My coworkers turkey sandwich was pretty good. Thick chunks of turkey with crispy fresh fries. I’d definitely come back here again.

My father worked at piper for a while we always came to breakfast here. The food is awesome! It’s a great bargain, $ 6 eggs biscuit and home fries OR hash browns. My dad loves their grits and sister is a huge fan of the corn beef hash. Servers are wry nice and vey attentive, over just a great experience. Haven’t experienced dinner or lunch but have been told all meals are awesome here!
