Great Cajun restruant and a must try! If your are looking for something different you need to check out the Cajun Cove. I went for dinner and was surprised by the modern décor inside. The atmosphere is classy but not suit and tie classy. The menu is not too big featuring paella, étouffée and jambalaya as well as steaks fish and other choices of meats and other various sides. My meal started with a couple pieces of bread and broccoli and cheese cornbread. I am not really a fan if broccoli but it was really good and went well with the cajun butter. Then I had a cup of corn chowder. It was a hearty creamy soup with red peppers, corm, potatoes and a little bit if bacon. Next I had Oysters Rockefeller. A half dozen. They were very good with a nice balance of ingredients. Oyster fans should try this dish. For my main entrée, I had the jambalaya with crawfish and andouille sausage. My mother ordered the Seafood Louisiana. My jambalaya was delicious! This isn’t some cheap crappy box mix. It’s really good stuff! All of the ingredients were cooked nicely. The portion was a pretty decent size too. And it was spicy with a nice hint of curry. I tried a little bit of the Seafood Louisiana and it wasn’t to spicy but creamy with a nice ammount if flavor and spices. Almost Ike the Cajun Alfredo dishes at chain restruants but much much better! Pasta fans should enjoy this dish. By now I am full and ready for a nap. But I just had to try some of the deserts. I got a beignet and the bread pudding to save for later. The beignet was small. I wish It came two per order instead of one but it was dense and tasty. It would go well with a cup of coffee for a light but not too sweet ending to a meal. If you have a sweet tooth, you HAVE to get the bread pudding! It is AMAZING!!! And that bourbon sauce?!? Oh man you could put that on anything and it will make it taste good. I might have to request it as my last meal. Yeah, it’s that good! If ya got a craving for creole you should check out Cajun Cove.

So glad we found this restaurant! I really liked the décor(casual elegance) and attention to details. Plenty of seating plus nice bar. We visited Friday and took advantage of their 5 – 6 pm $ 20 appetizer, salad, entrée and dessert offer. We started of with Oysters Rockefeller(not part of $ 20 offer). The oysters were super clean and delicious. Then we had the salads that were fresh with blue cheese dressing. The included appetizer was fried pepper-jack cheese. It was light, crispy and not greasy. For entrees we had shrimp and grits with tasso ham gravy and my husband etouffe also with tasso gravy and shrimp. They were the perfect portion, very savory and not too spicy. We also had drinks which were very good. Salad was fresh, entrees delicious and dessert a nice treat. Service was prompt and cordial. Kudos to Tony, GM. We will be back soon!

My wife and i have been wanting to try this place and we were very excited for the chance on our date night. We loved their décor l and took or time looking at the artwork on the walls. The back bar seating looked interesting but we opted to eat inside. We started off with coconut mojitos and were pleasantly surprised to see the sugar cane added to the drink. My wife ordered the Rockefeller oysters and I went with the fried calamari. Both were perfectly cooked and very tasty. The broccoli and chesse cornbread was unique and very tasty and perfectly paired with the Cajun butter. We were so full from the apps we decided to share an order of the crab dip. The dip is topped with bread crumbs and has large chunks of crab mixed in. The only complaint i would have is the price point for the food and drinks.

The food was so disappointing. It had no flavor and was undercooked. The cost was ridiculous for the quality. We had taken guests and were embarrassed by the restaurant. Even though one of our party was honest with the chef about how the food tasted, the manager put on his sunglasses and smirked at us when we were leaving — no offer to come back and try again, no apology, no comping a portion of our high bill. The experience was so different(negative) compared to other Vero Beach restaurants.

Got a to go order. Was barely any food for the money I paid. But it was pretty tasty. I got the Shrimp Etoufee, and an appetizer of crab mushrooms. They were VERY cold. I got a tiny piece of garlic bread and the Etoufee was in a tiny container. This review was from December 2015

Really enjoyed our dinner at Cajun Cove. Our waitress Annie was great. I unfortunately had to send my shrimp étouffée back as I did not know it had red meat in it(my fault, I definitely should have asked), but Annie and the kitchen were fantastic with getting me a shrimp creole super quick! Plus, my dining partner said her split pea soup was the best she had ever had. I look forward to trying their breakfast in the future! The one major drawback is the lack of curb appeal from the road. The sign on the outside of the restaurant is a bit unsightly, but the ambiance once you get inside is very nice.

First time at Cajun Cove in Vero Beach. Definitely won’t be my last. Unbelievable broccoli corn bread and a very special butter. Etoufee was as good as I have had in New Orleans.

This is a delicious new option for dinning in Vero. The menu really covers the full range of Cajun food. Portions are generous so think about sharing with your dining partners. Seemed a little pricy, but if you try a variety of dishes and split them up it between you this becomes a fun dinning experience. I understand this may be a difficult concept for many, but it really worked for us.

Cool atmophere and the dishes were well prepared. This could be a really good restaurant, with two exceptions. The dishes we had were way too spicey. Hot sauce was on the table, but was definately not needed. The meal would have much better if the diner could have controlled the amount of «heat». Also, there should be a serious reevaluation of the pricing. $ 20 for a bowl of etoufee and rice is pretty steep.

I ate lunch at Cajun Cove today. What a treat it was! This little gem of a restaurant, which opened in November of 2015, may not look like much on the outside, but the inside was very impressive! The décor is warm and inviting, even somewhat chic! The service was friendly and efficient without being overly intrusive. I suppose I can’t give a very thorough review just yet, having only been there once so far. However, I can tell you that the shrimp etouffe I had was delicious! Filling and spicy without being too heavy. I left the restaurant feeling full, but not overly stuffed, which I appreciate! My compliments to the chef! I look forward to going back with family and friends! I’m crossing my fingers in the hopes that this fine little place becomes very successful! I’m willing to bet it will.

I drive by here a few times a week and was chomping at the bit for them to open. We finally got the opportunity to stop in the evening. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes w/Grits, we ordered Shrimp & Etoufee, Crawfish & Etoufee and Crawfish and Sausage Jambalaya. Everything was outstanding!!! I read some poor reviews about service and presentation we didn’t experience any of that for a Saturday night in-season. Looks like they got the kinks worked out! Staff couldn’t be more attentive and worked as a team. We’ll be back for sure.

Just enjoyed a great lunch here at the Cajun Cove. I couldn’t decided between the jumbalaya and the etoufee so I ordered both. They were both outstanding. My wife had the blackend chicken muffuletta and BC slaw. She loved it. The slaw was the best I’ve ever had. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by.

Great Food and cool atmosphere. Hard to find great Cajun food and what a refreshing treat to have right here in Vero Beach. They’re serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We visited in the first week they were open with high expectations, for lunch. The place was pretty empty and slow, so we were very shocked at how underwhelming the experience was. My son ordered fried chicken, my husband order a po –boy plain, sauce on the side. I ordered a gumbo appetizer and shrimp étouffée(which, incidentally, was misspelled on the menu). My husband’s order came out wrong(all sauced up) and had to be sent back, but was replaced fairly quickly. My son had not yet been served but he said we should eat so our food wouldn’t get cold. My husband and I actually finished eating — a lot of time went by — and we noticed the waitress whispering nervously to the owner. He then came over and told us they actually had no fried chicken. This was about 40 minutes after we initially placed our orders. My frustrated husband ordered a po-boy for our son«same as mine» and they again brought one out wrong — smothered in sauce. At this point the entire experience was just comical so all we could do was laugh. They took it back and redid it with no sauce. I will say I didn’t think the food was very good in general and I hope they can get their act together. We had high hopes for this place, but if this is how they operate when they’re slow, I can’t imagine what happens when there are more than three tables going. To the owner’s credit, he did comp our entire meal, which was very professional of him. We may or may not go back depending what we hear around town.

Big Easy in Vero Beach. we had the jambalaya, étouffée and red beans with rice and sausage. always nicely presented. Everyone in our group thought the food was tasty and portions were more than ample. we will be back. this might become our new favorite restaurant in town.

Great Looking Place! Great bar service, poorly prepared food. Shameful neglect to detail. I may give them one more chance. However, these are issues that should be resolved in the first week of opening. Not after being open a month!

Poor first impression. High prices and small portions. Food was authentic Cajun, very well prepared and flavorful but value for money was low. Only allowed one drink/coffee refill without additional charge. One waitress was handling all the tables and the rest of the staff was just standing around talking to each other. Waitress had no training and didn’t know what the menu items were. We called the manager to our table because their computer was charging 14% sales tax. He acted like was our fault and didn’t apologize, but did refund the overcharge in cash. Second manager got angry with us bringing it up. Only response was a nasty«it’s not the end of the world». Surly management makes us hesitant to return.

Nice atmosphere Varied menu that covers many Cajun standards Limited beer selection $ 24 for a bowl of gumbo. This is double the price you would pay in an authentic Cajun restaurant. I wish them well but I don’t think the market here will go for that. The rest of the menu is also very pricey. It should be noted that a bartender who works here(Gabby B) keeps posting five star reviews(3)of their restaurant giving this place an artificially high rating.
