Great breakfast with good location right next to the beach. Husband had biscuits and gravy, yum yum! Blueberry pancakes were fantastic! Staff was wonderful.

This is a great breakfast and lunch spot. They are located by the boardwalk in Vero. It is a beautiful setting by the ocean and the food is very good! One of our favorite spots for breakfast and lunch! Btw, I read a complaint from folks who said they ate there for dinner getting lobster that wasn’t good; wrong place for that review, this one doesn’t have lobster on the menu and they are only open from 7 – 2 pm! Another complainer said they were scolded for seating themselves, but this place is seat yourself, my wife and I come to Vero beach every year and enjoy this little seaside grill at the park in Vero!

Bought a $ 20.00 Coupon and met another couple here for dinner tonight. My husband(who almost never complains about anything) ordered Lobster Stuffed Mahi but the was stuffing was too salty to eat and the Mahi was meh! He sent it back and ordered the Citris Grilled Swordfish but it was white on the outside and looked bloody with a suspicious red blob on the inside and it was cold. He sent that back too. The waiter was pleasant and the service was good but no one apologized for the food, in fact they behaved as though the complaint was a normal occurrence. We were not charged for his meal. One friend who ordered the Half Roasted Chicken didn’t complain but appeared to have eaten very little of it. Her husband had a burger that was average and I had the Lobster Tails that were okay. We will not return.

This place is great! The food is excellent, especially the chicken cheese steak. The location is almost in the waves; right behind the lifeguard stand on JC Beach. It doesn’t get any better.

Excellent French Toast and a very nice staff. A simple breakfast but the bacon was perfect, the eggs were just right and the Raisin French Toast was something I have never tried before but really loved.

Nice place for beachside lunch, but the food is slightly less than mediocre. Most food is fried and includes 8 hot dog entrees, and the usual assortment of burgers and sandwiches– all just average. I suspect this place shines during breakfast which is probably the best time to go. The location is great and that’s probably the best thing about it. I’m being a bit generous by giving it three stars. Update: went for breakfast yesterday and it was much better than at lunch. My wife said her omelet was very good. The home fries were a bit overdone, but the egg sandwich was great and the home made hot pepper sauce is outstanding. My recommendation is: go for breakfast and sit outside; it’s very pleasant and worth the experience.

Best breakfast at a beachside restaurant. Nice protons and they will adjust to any dietary request. Outdoor or indoor dinning. Not fancy but you can come sandy and leave happy. Very local atmosphere.

Came back today and multiple people were smoking in the outdoor seating area. Hard to enjoy breakfast while you’re smelling that nastiness. I was surprised to find out they allow it. I would have expected it to be banned. There’s no point to sitting outdoors by the ocean if you have to smell cigarette smoke like a cheap bar.

Went here for breakfast with the family on vacation. The food was really good and the hash was amazing. The only thing better was the staff as they are very personable and quick. If I lived here this would be a usual stop for me in the mornings.

True diner style next to the beach. Sits between the park and the boardwalk. Simple breakfast and lunch menu. Nothing fancy, but good. All menu items under $ 10. Breakfast 7 – 11, lunch till whenever, closed for dinner. Half of seating outside, half inside. Friendly staff. Walked there for breakfast daily. Would recommend.

Great location on the beach. Food is average and overpriced. I ordered the grilled cheese and it came out lukewarm and not melted. It also had just one piece of cheese. When I pointed it out to the waitress, she just said«ok» and took it back to the kitchen. She returned with a hot sandwich that now contained TWO two pieces of cheese. And a piece of onion, which appeared to be a remnant of some other order made in the kitchen. Owner wasn’t very friendly. Would not recommend this place with so many other choices in the area.

Simple great breakfast food in a fantastic location for soaking up the sun along the beach. The corned beef hash was right on with perfectly poached eggs. The food is reasonably priced, but remember to bring cash(cash or check only).

Owner chastised us for seating ourselves after two other parties passed us with the urging of the other servers. Just a bad customer service culture.

Really solid and dependable place. I think I’ve been going here since 1996 or so, and even only coming home once a year, he still recognizes me and my dad still. It is not anything fancy as other reviewers said, but it is the best casual American food in the area I think. BBQ beef, turkey and cheese, etc. I just love it.

I think the owner or employee wrote a 5 star reveiw on this place. I walked in, there as a man sitting alone at one booth, a lady sitting alone at another booth. The waitress was nice, friendly, but really didn’t do much but take my order and refilled my coffee. The description of the food from the menu did not reflect what I actually got, either the owner must think I don’t know the difference between Texas Toast and regular slice bread. Overall, I was disappointed, left feeling a fool for not sticking with my gut and eattting somewhere else.

Cute, cute, cute!!! Found this tiny place when just cruising the area sightseeing! It seemed inviting and we tried it for breakfast on a whim. It’s not luxurious, trendy or innovative but it IS good, typical, homey breakfast food and it was full of locals. We stuck out like a sore thumb with our cameras. It probably helped that it was a picture perfect day in the upper 60’s with the sun warming us up and our coffee mugs promptly refilled at the right times. You can park, eat and take a stroll on the beach or boardwalk which is at your footsteps while here. A staple for our next Vero Beach visit.

Our other breakfast spot in Vero. We love eating outdoors here. Food is solid, but not spectacular. The daily specials are usually pretty good — if they have a scramble, order it. Lunch is also not bad; I recommend the fried clam strips.
