Absolutely fantastic! It’s a small place with big appeal!!! The food… AAAMAZIIING! I’m picky about my burgers and this was the best burger I’ve ever had. The service was wonderful, the lady who served us was so kind and very attentive to our needs, and so patient. Definitely a happy experience for me

Food was bland, had to fight to get a Damn burger. I got there at 1045 and the waitress would not put an order for a burger because it was not 11 am yet, how retarded. Anyway, it was pricey, food took forever and the burger and the eggs Benedict were bland. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Very disappointed in our overall experience here. Arrived around 9am and was told there was a 15 minute wait, which I would have dealt with– however, about 10 minutes into our wait, a couple walked up(obviously regulars as they talked to waitresses by name) and asked what was up with the wait. A few minutes later, we heard a waitress refer to them as VIPs and they were quickly seated at a booth. This extended our wait ANOTHER20 minutes. Finally seated(and a tad mad), our waitress hurriedly threw our menus at us(typical breakfast fare with some cute car-themed names). After ordering(we all ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and grits), we waited ANOTHER30 minutes for our food. Now –to be fair– it was pretty good. Grits were creamy and the bacon was extra crisp, just as I like it– but when we tried to ask our harried waitress for condiments, she raised her finger and told us we would have to wait. I wanted to tell her that all I have been doing at this place was waiting, but held my tongue. And vowed to be honest in my Unilocal review. Another 10 minute wait after asking for our bill and it took us almost an hot and a half to have a simple breakfast. In short– the decent food doesn’t save this place from the horrible customer service. I won’t be back.

Great breakfast in a unique restaurant. At the recommendation of my coworkers, I had to try Mrs. Mac’s. Mrs. Mac’s is a auto garage themed mom and pop restaurant with license plates and car parts all over the wall. The wait staff wear overalls with window squeegees and even have shop rags for napkins which is cute but I’m not crazy about it. The menu is auto themed with items such as O-rings(onion rings), lug nuts(fried mushrooms) and The FanBeLT(BLT). The restruant is small and was up and running early for breakfast. As for the food, it is your basic mom and pop restruant. Nothing super crazy or trendy and it was pretty good. I ordered the mechanics favorite. Eggs, bacon, biscuit, and home fries. Everything was very good. Also they serve Natalie’s orange juice! It’s amazing. If there is one thing I can’t stand it’s crappy OJ from concentrate. I hate going out to eat breakfast only to get crap OJ. Natalie’s is about as close as you are going to get to fresh squeezed. It’s the Bentley of bottled orange juice. The servers were very friendly and the meal is pretty inexpensive. My meal w/o drinks was only $ 4.85. I will definitely be back for breakfast.

Amazing! So glad we tried this. When I saw it was 19 miles from our resort I wasn’t sure we should go, so glad we did. Fantastic home fries, perfectly cooked benedict(I swapped out the Canadian bacon for Taylor Pork Roll and it was excellent). We’ll defintely be back. Wild Cat was a great server. If there’s a wait when you get here, trust me… wait!

I’m constantly searching for good biscuits with sausage gravy. Finally found them. They were very good and the home fries were excellent. Fast service, cool décor, and prices are great. Can’t wait to try the lunch.

People do not line up and wait for mediocre food, so a line outside is always a good sign. We were not disappointed. The kids were complaining about the wait but they all were silenced once we sat down. The place is super cool, the wait staff as friendly as you will find anywhere and the breakfast… oh boy! I had the Cross Fire and it was perfect, the croissant alone would have been amazing but with the sausage and egg… oh boy. Worthy mention to the coffee, the best we have tasted in a long long time… our server(punchbuggy) was sweet and friendly. Can’t wait to come back… try this, you will not be disappointed.

Loved it! Such a family-friendly place with super service, excellent food, well priced. The car/service station theme was well planned out, right down to the squeegees used to wipe tables. Full menu, kid’s meal came out served in a cardboard car. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone!

This was my 2nd visit for breakfast in 3 days! The food was awesome! Home cooking to order and plenty of it! Homemade biscuits & sausage gravy was yummy! The staff is excellent… With extra kudos to Charger & Maverick! The atmosphere is kitschy & cool with auto memorabilia. Definitely my new«go to» for breakfast! Can’t wait to try their lunch menu! Go early if possible but definitely worth the wait! A+++ in my book!

The food is worth the wait. Classic breakfast items and some new takes to choose on this menu. My wife ordered the crossfire and loved it. I had two eggs, home fries, a perfect southern biscuit, and sausage gravy. This is my new favorite place in Vero Beach. We will be back and will bring our friends here.

We are still talking about this place 2 weeks after eating lunch there! The décor and ambiance was great, the food was out of this world! The fries were delicious and the burgers were the best we have ever had. We didn’t leave ANYTHING on our plates. We did also stuff ourselves with dessert which was the chocolate brownie with ice cream and the key lime pie. Both were super delicious and the perfect size for 1 person. Don’t pass this place up!

Awesome !!! Can’t believe it took 8 years in Florida to finally find the place that knows how to make a burger a classic grilled onion and American cheese burger. Wish other places in Florida would KISS!!! Yes this place delivers. The staff is great the atmosphere is like home and the patrons friendly…

I LOVETHISPLACE! It’s the perfect, small town greasy spoon. Inexpensive, great food, super fun ambiance, great staff. It’s a good thing we don’t live super closeby, or I’d be there every weekend morning for breakfast!

Only our 2nd visit to Mrs. Mac’s and it already feels like home. Great food and friendly, warm, and still efficient servers like Maverick make this place as special as its old car/garage décor! Winner of our personal BBIT award –Best Breakfast In Town! Can’t wait to bring the grandkids, they will LOVE this little spot with license plates menus, black and white checked tablecloths and stop lights. And I know our two son in lives will be ordering the«five car pile up»(come in to learn more)

I loved this place! Went for breakfast on a Tuesday morning and the place was packed! My mom and I had the BLT Benny off the specials menu. It was eggs Benedict with tomatoes, spinach, & bacon with a side of the BEST home fries I’ve ever had. It was delicious!!! I will definitely return to Mrs. Mac’s Fillin’ Station. The menu was extensive, every dish sounded great. The atmosphere was welcoming, staff was friendly, service was prompt, and décor was so cool! Antique items, old signs, license plates, and old pictures. The best for last… We bought their rag top sticky buns and they were AMAZING! They are a must! If you are too full from your meal take it to go like we did. I popped mine in the microwave for 30 seconds and it was gooey deliciousness!

Here we go! It’s my go to move to always find a nice breakfast place via Unilocal while on vacation. Mac’s popped up as a great spot, so you know we had to try it out. Great décor, great help. Slightly above average food except for the biscuits and gravy(AMAZING). Here’s the problem, fake ketchup and spongy pancakes. Watered down rebate/no name ketchup can ruin a breakfast, and same with spongy pancakes when you’re truly expecting the fluff and greatness of a true buttermilk pancake. Hope this helps for some people and hopefully the owners change the ketchup and pancake game around. Thanks!

Well, only took a day. Stopped by today and had another lunch. I’m resigned to getting the burgers the way I want it. But what’s great is still the taste, ambiance, and service in a fun setting. I had the set of three Mini Burgers that are loaded with sautéed onion, pickle, ketchup, mustard and cheese. Very tasty. As a side dish, ordered the fried onion rings. Also very tasty. The appetizer, «Lug Nuts» was the fried jalapeño cheese poppers with a slightly spiced sauce on the side. These aren’t too spicy. So I recommend it. Looking forward to bringing family and friends here. A great local place. My wife had a great turkey club wrap that she enjoyed. Now if I can just get here for breakfast. Link to menu, restaurant and photos, etc. .

Love Mrs. Mac’s Fillin’ Station. Breakfast and lunch are great. Décor is really fun. Staff and service is always top notch. I really like everything I’ve tried. Just wish they offered french fries, but the potato chips are good. Nice job. Would recommend. Thanks.

When ya find a place ya like… we naturally just keep going back! Had the turkey reuben sandwich AGAIN, minus the sauerkraut! There sooo friendly in there as usual, and just love it, the hubby got the usual burger he loves, I also got the great sweet potato fries, popcorn comes free or you can add french fries, sweet potato fries, or their crinkle circle fries. Will def. be coming back here again & again! Oh, and of course the license plate menu is pretty cool!

I’m a Vero native, but lived in Orlando for the past 12 years. I’ve NEVER made it into Mrs. Mac’s before. what!?! I know… So, I took my mom there the other day when I was in town for a belated Mother’s Day breakfast(she’d never been either and she lives in Vero!). We were both really impressed and got a kick out of the whole theme. Menus are bound together with license plates as front/back covers. super cool! napkins are mechanic’s rags! And the décor is straight out of a small town, roadside diner/gas station. I totally dig it. Lots of Old Florida and Vero imagery and items on the walls. License plates from different eras and areas of the country. The servers where overalls and dress like mechanics. Coffee is called motor oil and they ask if you if need refueling. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Be prepared for a southern breakfast feast. I had the country fried steak n eggs. SOOOO GOod but soooo filling! I felt my arteries clogging up, but c’mon…you know what you’re going for at a place like this! I would like to check them out for lunch next time. Highly recommend going if you never have! I wish Orlando had something like this!
