I went to Pearle Vision for the first time last month. I was in desperate need of new glasses and a Groupon was available. Overall the experience was good.
The eye appointment was great, the optician was friendly and explained why she was performing each test. Two women helped me pick out glasses afterward. They were really funny. The 3 of us were easily the loudest in the store because we couldn’t stop laughing.
The downside: it takes a while for your glasses to arrive, 10 business days. In their defense, they did advise me of this but the wait time is a bit exorbitant compared to other optical shops. If they can work on a faster turn around time they will be perfect.

If you love witty repartee and accuracy in an optician, Dr. Edmund’s is your guy! However, this pearle vision branch has awful customer service when ordering glasses. Get your exam done here but ditch their eyewear. My glasses are a full two weeks over their estimated 7 – 10 days. Totally disappointed.

Very friendly and helpful in getting me situated with lenses for my glasses despite circumstantial difficulties that other eye care centers could not work with. Very good customer service. I will be back.

Decent service in getting contacts and Rx for glasses but somewhat limited in their eye-​wear selection. Prices for contacts are about the same as the on-​line services like 1 800 contacts and Lens123.
