Saturday. 1pm. Combo plate #12(carnitas taco/cheese enchiladas) and #20(beef taco, cheese enchiladas, tamales). Quiet & dark. Typical Mexican restaurant décor. Chips/salsa appetizer. Ok salsa. Doesn’t taste like freshly made… more like ½ canned and ½ homemade. Both combination plates were eh. Nothing to rave about. The enchi sauce was a little salty, beans are beans and the taco had a good amount of carnitas/tortilla ratio. The guacamole didn’t taste freshly made either. Taste like something bought at the grocery store. And what’s with the influx of adding peas/carrots/corn to the rice(same trend with Chinese food)? Our waiter was ok. Not overly friendly but we rather have that than the fake friendly waitstaff anyways
