Paisano’s Pizza

Paisanos has definitely stepped it up. The Greek Gyro salad now comes with full of gyro meat on top. The pizza has been delicious in the past. All dine-​in experiences have been good.

I’ve always only ordered paisanos for lunch during work hours and they delivery guys are always very nice and their food is always good!
However, I FINALLY had the opportunity to visit one of their restaurants and have their super warm fresh meals right then and there!
WONDERFUL staff. The gentleman at the counter was so kind and patient, he brought out our food and even brought me my bag of chips that’s I forgot :)
I got their steak and cheese sub with a bag of salt and vinegar chips… Yummmm perfect combo! In addition we got the jalepeno poppers which were AMAZING! Their usually a bit cold by the time they get to me at the office but we’re soooo good freshly out of the fryer! Yes, they’re fried and no, I shouldn’t be eating fried food but they were so delicious :)
In addition to their great food and service I really enjoyed sitting in their clean and spacious facility!
If you’re ever in the Tyson’s area, I would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

I wish my bun was a less soggy. I ordered a cheesesteak. Went there for lunch and made it back with out rush, which is not bad considering all the traffic.

Ordered delivery here for the last day of a training session, our group ordered a variety of items ranging from pizzas, pasta, & a burger. We selected a delivery time of Noon, and the delivery was right on time which lined up perfectly with our planned break.
The food was good, everyone was pleased with their selection. For my order I went with a Pepperoni Calzone which was served with the sauce on the side, leaving the cheesy pepperoni goodness all to itself on the inside. The sauce was ok, but the calzone was better without it. I felt that it was just a little to sweet and note quite my sauce of choice.
Overall we were pleased with our order and if we were in the area again we would give them another try, especially considering the variety of items available on their menu.

Pizza is good and entrees decent… We’re staying walking distance from the location and it was either this or domino’s and this pizza beat domino’s by far but STILL NOT mom and pop pizzeria pizza…

Love this place; always great food and service. Matt and Yaya, are 2 people Paisanos of McLean are lucky to have. They are great additions to the company. Greek and Caesar salads are the best, also their jalapeño poppers are yummy. If you haven’t tried this place, it’s a must and their delivery for lunch/​dinner is super fast.

This place is a hidden gem for sports fans. It’s always quiet and never crowded. You can hear the game well, better food than a bar, and $ 2 beers. Can’t beat that. Plus, the manager is a cool guy, knows his sports (even has a Steelers tattoo), and the girl at the cash register is very nice.

I am embarrassed to admit that I used to eat here about three times a week (more than one should), BUT I love their food. They have INCREDIBLE buffalo wings. I recommend the mild, bone-​in wings. Yum!

Got the message from… guess the regional manager asking my phone number… Gave the number but never received any call. I guess it was just the formality…”.poor poor poor response
Update:
Got called from the director of Paisano… with apology and free pizza. Apology accepted but did not accept free pizza since apology was enough. He even gave me his cell number for the future reference. He is humble enough to accept the mistake done by Paisano Tysons Corner. Guess I can go back to Paisano again but not in tysons. 5 Star for Peter the director of Paisano but still 1star for the Paisano Tyson’s Corner.

Their pizza isn’t terrible — I’ve just had better.
We ordered three different varieties of pizza, and my biggest complaint about all of them is that there just simply wasn’t enough sauce on them. Each one was pretty dry leaving not a whole lot of flavor going on beyond dough and the toppings. I suppose if light sauce pizza is your thing, then that would be a pro for you. As for me, it detracted majorly from the pies.
Delivery was fast, and the driver was incredibly nice and friendly — Especially taking into consideration that it was the day of the massive snow storm we got on January 6. It was actually unexpected, but very welcome that the establishment was even open and delivering on this day.
Overall I’m not ruling this place out for future deliveries. I’ll just have to make sure to specify that they be a little more generous with the sauce. Hopefully this request won’t come with an up charge.

So — today is my second time ordering from Paisano’s. And for the record, I’m not a typical «bad review» kind of girl.
Today was just not a great experience.
I will say that their Greek Gyro Salad is pretty awesome, but their customer service disappoints.
Mistake #1 — the gentlemen who took my order told me the minimum deliver fee was $ 10.00… the menu I had said $ 8.00 but I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking th menu was out of date. Nope — received a new menu with my deliver and it’s still $ 8.00. What gives?
Mistake #2 — Deliver took over an hour… wouldn’t usually complain in the Tyson’s/McLean area but I was already irritated about the extra $ 2.00 minimum delivery fee.
Not to mention the $ 1.50 for delivery…
So what should’ve been an $ 8.00 lunch ended up costing me $ 16.00 and some change.
Meh.
UPDATE: I was contacted by Paisano’s. They did apologize and let me know that they’ve ensured all of the order takers know the minimum delivery charge. They’ve also credited my account for future use.

Whenever I’m craving a stuffed cheesy Stromboli, Paisano’s is the place to go. Someone friendly always answers the phone which is a big plus. Their wings & pizza are quite good as well. I always add a side salad to my order because their Italian dressing is amazing. They’ve told me they make it in house & I wish they would bottle it & sell it in their store. I’ll even ask for extra to dip my Stromboli in. Delivery time is 30 – 45 minutes which I consider to be pretty standard. Paisano’s is my go to delivery spot. Keep up the good work!

Our newest favorite delivery spot… We’ve never been disappointed. My fiancé calls the meat lovers pizza divine (so he really likes it.) We’ve only ordered delivery which is super fast. Salads have a good portion, sandwiches are tasty, and wings are also good, but we’d recommend the pizza for sure.
Never been to the actual restaurant but we’ll continue to use the delivery.

I just had a bad experience. What happened was I ordered a 10 pcs boneless and french fries, after me 8 asian guys ordered some food. The thing is the this guy (don’t know if he is the manager) gave my order to them, after 31 minuntes I asked this guy about my food, he said he gave it to the asians by mistake (how come?, my name is martin not jacky chan, choi hwen etc.) then he excused with me, and gave me a soda for free, after less than 5 minutes he gave me my order. So my advise is, if you don’t mind to wait 30 minutes for your food and get a free soda, go here!
(Just kidding)
By the way, I really like this food. Boneless are really good, and grilled chicken saladad is perfect!
Definitely I’ll come back this place, but I’m just sharing this bad time

They have a TV! LoL so if i want to watch sports during break… i go here.
They have the modern soda machine which my friend calls the magic soda machine.
What to order:
Steak and Cheese Philly sub is 10′ and delicious… add mushrooms and bell peppers :)
Onion rings are divine… The way they make and coat the batter is good. Its not like other places where it separates from the onion.
Pizza Flavors I like:
Bacon Cheeseburger Specialty
Big Paisanos
Hawaiian
But you can always make your own pizza selection. I shy away the white pasta/​garlic flavor because its not like Papa Johns alfredo pizza… its literally the Real garlic/​white sauce strong flavor
I order my chicken wings with the saucw on the side so I habe more control of the mix.
Their pasta dish i like is the baked zitti… the rest is at par
Im inlove with the double cheeseburger
They deliver on time and very friendly.

Update 2÷26÷14 — The management responded much more positively later after the lunch rush settled. They also aggressively check this site for performance issues and are appreciative of the comments. Raised to three stars.

Ordered from Paisano’s today for lunch, and the driver kept going to the wrong addresses. I was getting called out of meetings to speak to security guards from other buildings. When he did arrive he threw the food at our receptionist and ran out, and by then the food was cold. The manager didn’t deal with the situation well, so 1 star for you!

Holy cow that was the quickest pizza delivery I’ve ever had. Called for delivery to the hotel, hung up, walked downstairs to get a soda, came back to my room, took off my shoes and knock knock. I was done eating and everything was put away less than 40 min after I placed the call. The pizza was pretty decent too.

Food is ok, not great. though this is prolly the last time I’ll eat here. Subway is next door after all, and their sammiches are better. Unfortunately, they close at 8:00 pm. So, while getting a drink out of the soda fountain an employee removing dirty glasses from a table, walked over to the soda fountain, and emptied the glasses in the fountain drain while my drink was pouring. He then said «you didn’t see that… or this» as he picked up limes off the tray that fell out of one of the glasses. Disgusting!

Wings are always good, but how hard is it to deep fry? Better to hit up a place like Wing Street, can get flavors like garlic parm and lemon verbane
Steak and cheese sub is good and I know some who swear by it. Otherwise, I had these philly cheese steak fries once (not here) that haunt me more intensely.
Garlic Knots were ok, definitely had better, but when isn’t pizza or garlic knots better in New York? The city is obsessed

Ordered:
1. Spaghetti and meatballs
2. Pepperoni and sausage pizza
3. Garlic knots

Spaghetti and meatballs tasted like the product you get from canned Chef Boyardee. The noodles were overcooked and the sauce was disgusting. The meatballs were irrelevant at that point. It came with garlic toast which was obviously sitting under a heat lamp way to long, i.e. crunchy like a croûton.
Biggest dissapointment of all? The pizza, which was a saltfest. I don’t skimp on salt and pepper when I cook. I’ll just say I was guzzling water and gatorade to bring my sodium levels back to balance after that pie. Goodness.
Garlic knots were just absolutely soaked in the oil/​butter/​garlic shiny stuff. I’m talking I could have lubed a dozen bicycle chains with one of those little buns. Tasted ok, but just too oilym, even for me.
The winner? Onion rings!!! It saved the order, but alas my signicant other ate them all while I was not looking. :(
Will I order again? Maybe… perhaps it was an off day for the crew. I just have to find out why this place gets so many good reviews. There has to be more to it.
