Great Service and The Phở Really hit the spot in this cold weather got carry out and was packaged well and was easy to combine and relish at home. Definitely Recommend this place.

The noodles were good. However there was an overwhelming star of anise and/or clove flavor in the broth that was quite disappointing. In addition, the employees were a bit rude, also speaking to each other very loudly from the kitchen(which is basically open to the dining area). Unfortunately I would not recommend this restaurant for the food nor the service.

Excellent phở, service, and awesome ambience. Very clean place and clean chicken. Highly recommend and would revisit.

Sat down to a bowl of phở here. The broth was beefier than I expect, but I’d be perfectly happy to eat here again. Beautiful décor in an otherwise unassuming restaurant.

Nope. Nope. Nope. I have lower standards for establishments between the hours of 11a-2p, M-F, but Phở 7 didn’t even come close to those. Walked in with a colleague around 11:45a. Nice décor, about 6⁄15 tables were seated, but there was no server around. We just grabbed a seat near the door. I quickly realized that a few tables hadn’t been served yet(no drinks, no utensils). Sever finally comes from the back to grab two bowls of phở that had been sitting for a few and delivers them to a table. That’s when I decided to go with the plain phở(noodles and broth only). After us, about 3 more groups walk in and seat themselves. Still no greeting to anyone. Everyone is just confused at this point. I’ve been known to show my feelings on my face without even knowing. Server sees it apparently and comes over to take our order; completely disregarding that two other tables were there before us. I do the right thing(duh) and ask her to take their orders first. 20 minutes later she’s taking an order for her friend that walked in way after us. I asked her what was up with that and she said, «don’t worry about that, I’m here now so what do you want?» That was my last encounter with her because a much nicer woman walked in and started helping us. Nowwwww the food. Terrible. The broth was tasteless, the iced tea was about 2 days old and I ordered Shrimp egg rolls… when they came out, they were literally pieces of «shrimp»(tail-on) wrapped in egg roll paper. I have so much more to say, but I’ll spare you all the novel. Just take my advice and go elsewhere.

Please look at the photo of slime I posted below. I never knew this is what round eye meat looked like… VERY disappointing. We got this to go and the packaging was disgusting. Raw meet in a styrofoam container, in the same container as the onion, mint, and bean sprouts. Terrible. What’s more disturbing is that even after putting the raw meat in the bowl and warming it up again –that’s the warmed up meat looked like! I have had phở plenty of times and this was absolutely awful.

Stopped by for lunch the other day and was disappointed to see a change of menu. They ended up nixing a lot of the meat choices and now only have a few meat options.(I think three. Eye round, flank, and meatball??? Where’s everything else? Standard phở bowl usually has like 7 meats in it!) Their chin/brisket was really good before and was what I’ve had on the several occasions I’ve been here. It was kind of weird because when I asked the waiter he said they never had that option when I know they did because I’ve been here over 5 times and it’s what I’ve gotten every time. I’m not sure if there was a price change as well but I was also a little discouraged to see that the large bowl was $ 10 dollars. Their phở is still a better option in the area but definitely not the same place it used to be.

The service here honestly sucks. It’s not hard to be sweet, so I usually would not rate 4 stars on account of how coworkers and I are often treated here, but the food is great and the place is always spotless, so here we are. This place is on route 7 tucked in where the DSW, TJMAXX, Panera, and Starbucks are. There’s a little naughty shop back near Phở 7 as well, which is great for conversation. There are probably 12 tables in this shop and I have never had to wait. The staff will generally let you choose where you sit and they collect orders electronically on Ipads. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for my soup and it is always perfectly fine. Their spring and summer rolls are great and I think their pricing is fair. The service, as I mentioned, does suck. However, when I spend a max of 35 minutes for a sit down lunch with delicious food, I am happy to overlook it. The problems lie in terrible communication skills and that I’ve never been checked in on. I usually have to get up and ask for a fork because the server never comes back by. Yes… gasp. I have 0 chopstick skills and have to rely on the big spoon and a fork. They no longer serve bubble tea. The point is that if you work in Tyson’s and need some warm phở to make it through the day, this is your best option.

So it took me a while to do this update but I feel like it’s the right thing to do I went with a friend about two months ago around 5pm on a weekday. We were sat at a booth on the right side of the restaurant. There was only one other customer in there on the opposite side and he was about done eating. I often see the occasional flying bug or two in phở restaurants(bigger than fruit flies but smaller than regular flies). Well after about two minutes of eating our food my eyes gravitated toward the very wall we were sitting at and I see not one, not two, but literally about 20 of them on the wall. They weren’t moving. We pick up our stuff and move to a table in the center of the restaurant then suddenly we hear«zap, zap, zap zap, zap zap zap» and we were thinking is that a freaking bug zapper in the back? It wasn’t. It was actually the kitchen staff walking around with«the electrocutioner»(a tennis racket bug zapper, check it out on Amazon). He was toward the back of the dining area just outside of the kitchen swatting the damn thing around killing tons of these things. The owner lady, her husband, staff from the nail salon next door(same owners as the phở restaurant) were all sitting there at a table prepping utensil napkin rolls and egg rolls while this is all going on like it was no big deal. Why didn’t we hear the zaps initially? This just tells me the person doing the zapping was the same person preparing our food so he was too busy to zap bugs. A bit of extra info– the owner loves my wife and I for some reason. She always comes over to make small talk for a minute or two no matter how crowded or empty the place is, granted this time my wife wasn’t with me, I have gone here with the same friend before and the owner lady came to talk to us. He actually waited tables there on weekends for the hell of it for a month or so when the place first opened so they are always very friendly with him too. This time, the owner didn’t come say hi to us which isn’t like her. She even walked by us and left the restaurant without saying anything to us. I know it had to be due to the bug situation. On top of that, our very own waiter was going from table to table with a cup of vinegar and a cup of wine to try to attract bugs to it. In other words the bug zapper wasn’t enough. I was furious that she stayed open for business while this was going on. I should have said something but i didn’t want to cause a scene. I couldn’t believe she stayed open for business! If not for her customers sake I would think she’d keep people out for the sake and well being of her own business. I really wished I said something to her. For about a week straight my friend and I would check Unilocal to see if there have been any reviews pointing out something similar to what we saw but there wasn’t a single review like what we expected to see. Anyways– this short novel does the story no justice. If you were there and saw what we saw you very well might write phở off forever. If you need to get a mental image of the person with the tennis racket bug zapper and how he was using it, just watch this video– it might be real tennis with real rackets and balls but you’ll get the idea («Riff Raf tennis» on YouTube) Sorry if I ruined phở for everyone. Also the bathrooms have always been filthy

I have some Asian co-workers who are influencing me on the different Asian styles and takes on Asian styles. I’ve never had PHO which in actual pronunciation should be PHA. I don’t really go for noodles when I’m hungry but I had to give it a try. PHO7 is located in the PIKE7 plaza off our Route 7. It cannot be viewed from the front as its in a walk way in between STARBUCKS and SAKURA. Not sure if this location was the Subway that I used to frequent in this plaza awhile back but it looks like it could have been. But either way the décor is fashionable with booths to the right and table n chairs in the middle. I ordered the P3 which came with Beef. Phở is pretty simple you get the broth, rice noodles, protein(usually chicken/beef), and the assortment of bean sprouts, mint, jalapeño peppers and lime that are to be shared for the table. The bean sprouts are good they have a good consistency that makes it like noodles when warmed up I loaded up on that to make a fuller meal. The lime totally goes with this meal and the mint/lime combo is something I will start using in my cooking. My Asian co-workers informed me that the price is slightly high for phở $ 9.95. I found the dish to be very good and perfect for a rainy day/cold day. You can add the house Sriracha and Hoisin Sauce to jazz it up a bit. But its simple but very light and tasty. PHO… I dont think I will eat alot of it but I do like it and this place did a nice job introducing me into the world of PHO. The food comes out pretty quick you can have your beef raw and let the broth cook it or have them cook the beef before added to the broth. The Broth is str8 drinkable for sure.

I have been here multiple times, dined in and carry out orders alike. The first time around Memorial Day weekend was the best. The food was cooked perfectly, the service was good, the restaurant was new. I felt this was a solid restaurant. After repeat visits, the kitchen staff changed quite a bit from«Mom’s» to random cooks. That is when the food begin changing in taste a little bit, and mostly in appearance. The meat regardless of chicken, or pork is now coming out charred black and burnt, making ½ of the portion not edible. The rice paper wrap entrees come pre-soaked in water instead of the do it yourself style. The rice paper edges dry and become really hard to chew. Unfortunately, they did not stay consistent with their performance otherwise it would have been a neighborhood gem for Vietnamese food. I recommend checking it out nonetheless as it is hit or miss with the kitchen. The food is fresh, and good when it is done right. The staff is always friendly.

Phở 7 is within walking distance of the Tyson’s metro, which is a plus for a lot of folks. It’s also within walking distance of my office, so that’s a plus for me. P3 is my fav — phở with the well done flank. There are only a few protein options, but you come here because it’s a good place to get a quick phở in Tyson’s. Summer rolls are pretty good. Packed well. They’re a bit on the thin side so you taste the rice paper more than you should. Peanut sauce is whatever. Throw some sriracha on there. The hoisin and sriracha are in porcelain containers, in case you are searching blindly for them. No, they’re not in squeezable containers, big deal. The bubble teas are so-so. I’ve had the taro and the avocado. They’re a bit too icy, but flavor is still good. The servers are pretty indifferent to customers. I’ve only seen one lady(not a waitress) come over and ask how everything is going. I don’t get a sense the other staff have much waiting table experience. You are coming there for a quick bite though, so it’s more ok.

After a long vacation without Asian food, I was totally craving a bowl of delicious brothy Asian soup. Since Tysons Corner is seriously lacking some good Chinese restaurants, phở was my next best option. Phở 7 is conveniently located right on Route 7 in a plaza with plenty of parking. It’s about 1pm, the crowd was pretty thin, so I was seated and served right away. I had a simple Phở Tai. The broth was delicious, and the meat was tender. Although, it would’ve been nice if there was more meat. All in all, it was fast service, decent food, and the restaurant looks well kept. Not a bad spot for a quick lunch. I gave this place 3 stars because nothing really stood out to me. However, I did enjoy my experience here. *Pardon my abridged review — this was typed on an iPhone*

This place is tucked away in a walkway of a strip mall. If you drive by the strip mall you won’t see it, you have to walk between two of the buildings by Starbucks. There is a sign out front but the actual storefront you cannot see. I came here during the week and got my veggie Phở to go. I called it in and was there within 10 minutes. I only waited a few more minutes for it when I arrived. The place looked cute and they weren’t very busy. I’m curious why they charge an extra $.75 for to go orders??? What is up with that? Are they charging me for the packaging that I’m using? They packaged the Phở with all the veggies on the side which I liked because then it became a build your own kind of deal. It was pretty good Phở — not the best I’ve had but not the worst. The hot sauce and hoisin mix was super tasty. The prices are decent but the large wasn’t as much as a I thought it would be. It didn’t fill a whole large Tupperware container. The black tea was super delicious but was filled to the brim with ice. I probably got three big gulps of tea — the rest of the drink was ice. I’ll probably try this place again but I’m not in a rush to get back.

I have been here a few times now and have had much better experiences eating in rather than carry out. Great addition to the tyson’s area but carry out can be hit or miss depending on who answers the phone. My advice would be to check your order before you leave the restaurant. They have forgotten the fish sauce for our vermicelli, hoisin sauce and mint leaves for our phở, and both times we were too tired to have to go all the way back to get the missing items. It definitely ruined our meals though — vermicelli without fish sauce is awful! The man that took our most recent carry out order was impatient over the phone and not friendly when we came to pick up. :/ Pros: — Best phở broth in our area — Very clean and spacious, comfy booths — Food came out very fast and waters were refilled :) — Vermicelli dish was huge and flavorful Cons: — Pricey for phở, especially since the ‘small’ is pretty small and didn’t have a lot of meat/onions, I might go for a regular bowl next time — The bo vien(phở meatball) was dry. I ordered the P1 combo — Not a lot of phở combinations but maybe we can build our own next time — The fishcake appetizer was not good, super tiny and only came with 4 small pieces, yet the price was almost $ 6. I don’t think we will be ordering this dish again — crispy egg rolls had way too much pepper in the filling. It was all I could taste!

Pleasantly surprised to see a phở house in Tysons. Restaurant had only been opened for 4 months. Restaurant is clean, open, and welcoming. Menu seems comprehensive. Ordered spring roll which I could tell was wrapped to order. The roll had a nice balance of shrimps and veggies. The peanut sauce was average. Ordered a small bowl of phở for 9.45 which I have to say was the smallest bowl of phở I’ve ever seen. But the price was made up in quality, the broth was clear and flavorful. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The meat was cooked just right and tender. Overall the experience was positive, definitely would come back since it’s close to home. I’ve definitely think it’s has a lot of potential.

I will admit: I came here REALLY wary. I already had my regular phở place, I don’t need a new one! But that is an unhealthy attitude to have towards life so away we went. Things that made me go «uh… okay…»: — Cost per bowl is a bit higher than I’m used to paying for phở — Not many meat combination options for phở – The standard(P1 or first option in most places) doesn’t have tripe and has meatballs who does that — Hoisin and sriracha are not in squeeze bottles but in little sauce pots w/spoons Needless to say… I had mad reservations about this place. I was already thinking to myself«Man, we shouldn’t have tried a new place, I’m not even going to have tendon in my phở and I looooove having tendon in my phở why bother why live».(I got a little dramatic.) We ordered summer rolls and I was still feeling a bit salty about the whole thing. I was wondering if I liked the peanut sauce or not, because it wasn’t like how I usually had peanut sauce!(It was good, I was being very dramatic: P) Then the phở arrived. And I tried the broth. Yo. This is some BOMBDIGGITYBROTH. Easily one of the best broths I’ve ever had in phở. And when you consider how down I was on this place already, you know this broth must have been phenomenal for me to not have been like, «It’s just okay, let’s stick with our usual place and never try anything new ever again. EVERAGAIN.» Having meatballs in my phở was an odd experience but the meatballs were REALLY good. Also, there is SECRETTENDON in the phở. I loved this because tendon is one of my favorite meat additions to phở.(My boyfriend was less thrilled about the sneaky tendon, though, so be aware if you don’t love having tendon in your phở.) Also, the restaurant is really clean and nice. As I was enjoying my phở broth, I started to just enjoy the restaurant as a whole. Was I worried that there weren’t that many people in there on a Sunday around lunch-ish time? Sure, but it soon filled up and I know why. So you know what, definitely try this phở place out. It’s costs a bit more than some other phở places, but it’s a super duper solid option.

Stopped by while in the area for dinner. The reviews are right on. Great place for Vietnamese. The restaurant is clean. The service is good. The food is excellent. The spring rolls AND the peanut sauce is fresh. We also got a order of the wings and they were tasty. The phở was your standard broth, with a little more star anise, and perfect noodles. The bun with shrimp, pork and egg rolls was excellent. Best I have had in a good while. Would definitely recommend it. Overall a solid place for great food.

During a recent shopping trip to the Tysons Corner area, I found Phở 7 in the same strip mall where Orvis and Ranger Surplus are located. Intrigued with the prospects of a new Phở place, I checked them out for lunch. Upon entering I found the place to be very clean, sleek, and modern looking. It had a fresh look to it. I was immediately greeted by restaurant staff and I took a seat. I ordered a large Phở Ga and a water with lime. They first brought out a plate with the usual accoutrements: lime, Jalapeños, bean sprouts, and Basil. The quantity of Jalapeños and bean sprouts was skimpy, and I asked for more. They promptly complied. This was followed by a steaming bowl of Phở Ga. I looked for the bottle of Sriracha and did not see it — so I asked for it. Instead, they provide this small white tray with individual containers of Sriracha and Hoison sauces. I added everything and then tasted the broth. Delicious! A very nice, rich, tasty chicken broth. I wolfed and slurped my way through the entire bowl of Phở Ga, adding Sriracha liberally to bites and I inhaled the meal. Down to the very last drop of broth! Everything was delicious — the chicken was very tender. My only negative comment is that I wish there had been more chicken — which I told them. They let me know all I had to do was ask and they would add more — and to please let them know next time I come in. They’ve been open for just over a couple of weeks. When I attempted to check in on Unilocal — I could not. The Unilocal app indicated I was to far away. I then checked the location in the App — the map showed the business much farther to the west of Tysons that it actually was. I submitted an address/location to Unilocal — will be interesting to see if they correct the location. I find that Unilocal often times misses correcting address/location information — even when submitted to them multiple times! Service was excellent! I highly recommend this place!
