I have never eaten anything from Calz before, and usually I don’t try new places, but in this case, I’m so happy I did! I ordered a tuna sub, and a couple other things online and everything arrived in 15 minutes! And it was so much better than a subway sub. Everything was delicious and fresh :) will definitely be ordering from here again.

Tried this place out for the first time tonight. Pizza and fries delivered on time. Prices were great. Fries were still crispy and warm. We weren’t huge fans of the pizza but that’s just because we prefer a thin, crispy crust. If you like cheesy, bread like pizza you’ll probably love it.

Ordered online for delivery, placed an order for the family, I liked the flow of the website, it was easy to navigate. The food arrived it was tasty. We ordered wings, chicken tenders, curly fries, salads, and a tuna sub. I was pleased with the service, quality of food and price.

Actually surprised at the quality of the pizza. They ARE open, and do deliver to the oceanfront hotel we were staying in. Ordering over the phone was quick and easy, prices are very low — which meant my expectations were low as well. However, pizza arrived at the later end of the time quoted(totally ok, it’s Va Beach, traffic stinks!!) and pizza was hot, and SUPER cheesy!!! Ordered a simple half cheese/half pepperoni, and anywhere else it would have been considered double, even triple cheese. Pretty tasty! Crust is soft and chewy, think of a soft pretzel type crust — yum! It was really greasy, but I’m guessing that’s from the exorbitant amount of cheese — excellent drinkin food! Side salad was tiny, but had more than just lettuce(lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, onion, black olives) croutons and side of dressing. Overall, happy with my choice, especially a large pizza and two salads and a soda for $ 20!

My pizza arrived 10Minutes before expected delivery time, piping hot and delicious! Ingredients tasted so flavourful and fresh, the dough cooked to perfection and the crust crunchy just like I like it. Will definitely be ordering again thank you!

This place is pretty good! $ 1 slice pizza?! Crazy! Ohhh, if you like cinnamon sugar, you NEED to try the fried dough. It’s only 99cents! Super good! The people who work here are very friendly!

Wanted to try out another pizza place in the area and man did we pick the right one! Prices are unreasonable and the food is great. My husband loves the wings and I enjoy their pepperoni pizza. We will be repeat customers.

We had the chicken deluxe sub and pepperoni pizza. Man, it was awesome! This will be one of my places I go back to when I visit the beach again. Very nice people.

Cute pepperonis, horrible crust! Used to love this place, but TWICE now I have ordered pizza and found a curly pube-like hair in or around my food. GROSS!

Cal’z is a decent restaurant. Website didn’t work and delivery time was average at best for a Tuesday night. On the plus side, they have the best sandwiches on Atlantic, but I would advise to only ordering those. The sandwich itself(using the italian) didn’t go overboard with condiments and the dressing was perfectly balanced, and the meats weren’t too thick. Their pizza however is the worst on Atlantic with bland and dry crust which is odd because their homemade bread is amazing, bland sauce, mediocre cheese, and canned toppings. If you like sandwiches and subs these are your guys, if not then I’d recommend going elsewhere.

Nothing special, was hoping to find a decent pizza place close to home. Canned mushrooms though? Really?

Calz has the best suicide hot wings and you just can’t beat their lunch specials. I eat there several times a week.

I’ve been coming to this place for years, and I never really thought of Unilocaling it, but my workplace was having an event and the place we ordered from really had a big screw up, I called Calz at the last minute and they bailed me out-Big Time. I love the pizza here, and the staff.

not great. not terrible. It’s a simple place. looks like it is family friendly. Dimly lit, lackluster furnishings. I ordered 10 mild wings and ½ garlic bread for just under $ 13. I know that I didn’t order hot wings or the suicide wings that they offer but I still expected more seasoning, flavoring, something to tempt my taste buds a little. This sauce did not do it. $ 1.30 for a flattened half of a hoagie size roll(garlic bread)…meh. What disappointed me the most was that it was not $ 1 per wing, but $ 1 for HALF a wing. There were 10 pieces about 5 tiny little drumsticks and 5 flat ends. During my 12+ minute wait I read all of the old CALZ license plates mounted on the walls. Some were quite clever and I think it is pretty cool that they have them posted. I have no judgement on the pizza or other offerings as the aforementioned are the only dishes that I have ever ordered here. It is quite possible that I missed out on some awesomeness elsewhere on the menu.

This place was recommended by my friends living here. They said that this was one of the better pizza places. I was extremely disappointed. We ordered pick up… They had a special, 1 large pizza with one topping and 10 wings and then we also ordered an extra medium veggie pizza. We picked it up at the store, which is opened late which is why I gave it 1 star at least. The guy up front didn’t seem to friendly or happy… but thats okay we just paid and left. The veggie pizza … two words: CANNEDMUSHROOMS !! I haven’t had canned mushrooms in forever, and I hope to never have any again. It really made the pizza sad! The sausage pizza was edible, better than the veggie pizza. The wings… small and tough. I would not order from this place again. I feel bad for my friends who live here and have this place as one of the better pizza places in town.

In the latest episode of my «catered lunch» reviews we had some Cal’z pizza delivered today… I’m going to come across here as a pizza snob but who gives a damn… Where to begin… The pies that were ordered were of some sort of «Meat Lover’s» type of selection. They were called Cal’Zilla’s and were large rectangular pies cut into square slices. First and foremost this was a straight-up utility pie. To doughy and a bit under cooked. The sauce was practically acidic and would probably be put to better use cleaning the tarnish off silverware. Toppings, definitely the lowest of low grade. Frozen pizza’s have better toppings than this. I will concede they were prompt on delivery. But the product doesn’t warrant the business. I know I wouldn’t personally order it, and if my employer order’s it again I’ll just go out for lunch. BTW, anyone have any TUMS?
