DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

During my visit, the well-​organized clearance section had great deals for flat shoes for women. I didn’t visit the other aisles.
The sales associate was friendly.
It is easy and free to park.

I enjoy this smaller DSW much more than the one at Greenbriar for some reason. Not sure why because I’m a shoe loverrrrrrrrrrr. I tend to find better selection of shoes in my size (size 10 if you’re wondering) All name brands here, but in order to be a bargain shopper you’ll need to do some comparison pricing before you purchase. I’ve found MANY of the same shoes at DSW at Macy’s cheaper (on sale + coupons).

I like to go here when they send me a $ 10 coupon and I have $ 10 from reward points. You can use up to 3 coupons per purchase. Sadly, they did away with military discounts but if you shop smart, that doesn’t matter. I bought a $ 98 pair of Tahari flats for $ 14 because they were on the clearance rack with a 70% sticker. I’ve also found Sperry’s on the clearance rack at this location. They’ve always had purses, wallets, and socks but recently I’ve noticed scarves and jewelry her as well. For men and women, there is a every type of shoe here that you could ever need. I’ve rarely ever left this store empty handed. Keep an eye out for the good deals and make sure to sign up for the rewards. It’s awesome feeling to leave with a giant bag of socks and great brand name shoes for under $ 100.

Anyone who really knows me know that I’m a very frugal shopper. I will spend $ 30 on a meal before spending $ 30 on a blouse or pair of shoes. I am a lover of fashion and enjoy a stylish shoe. Ladies and gents let me tell you it is possible to be fashion forward without breaking the bank.
DSW is my #1 stop for footwear before going anywhere else. DSW is aptly named, because the rows and rows of shoes and minimal design gives the warehouse feel. Now as a girl on a budget I always head straight to the clearance section first. I’m really glad that they knocked down the walls that separated the clearance section from the rest of the store. Now DSW is just one huge room. I love the designer styles. I am not loyal to any brand, but I prefer brand name footwear because I know how important it is to take care of your feet with proper support and well designed/​constructed shoes. DSW allows me to get the quality I need at a price that I can afford.
Back when they had an 80% discount bracket, I purchased a pair of Kenneth Cole Reaction walking sneakers for less than $ 2. I combined the 80% discount with a DWS reward certificate that I had earned.
Be aware that many of the prices are still a bit high for my purse strings, but would be very affordable for others with a more relaxed budget.

This place is good for what it is and is aptly named.
Plenty of shoes in a giant warehouse where you can wander around to your heart’s content trying things on. I stop in here sometimes when I am on the hunt for something specific, like last summer when I needed a pair of comfortable, non-​expensive, strappy sandals for my trip to Italy. I found some adorable Roxy sandals which were exactly what I wanted in here for around $ 40.
There aren’t many sales associates roaming around but this place is structured in such a way where the customer can find their own sizes and try on whatever they want on their own. I personally like that, I hate hovering salespeople who won’t leave me alone to ponder my purchases.
There is a fairly large amount of all kinds of shoes in here, athletic, heels, sandals, etc.
There as some main name brands and some not so much. Prices are reasonable. I don’t shop here for really nice shoes, I prefer to stick to places like Dillard’s and such but this place is a must-​stop in when I am looking for something specific and have a set amount of money I don’t want to go over.

I’m not the biggest fan of DSW, although I love their clearance section. Well, I love their clearance section when they have shoes that are actually stylish. It seems that the DSW clearance is where all the fashion rejects go in the hopes that someone like me will come along and breathe life into them.
The staff was nonexistent, although the one assigned to stock clearance asked if I needed anything. I can’t say that I minded though, as I like to be alone while walking around a store in sexy heels. Did someone say Facebook?
