I’m not in here often. Probably because I don’t have kids or any family around with young ones. But guess what … Everyone seems to have babies and toddlers. And each of those children have parents blessing them with birthday parties. Soooooooo… I was here last year searching for a very specific type of toy for a one-year-old with no luck what so ever. I’d purchased this type of toy before and that little one loved it so I was perplexed not being able to find something similar here. I personally found the toy prices to be a tad bit steep, maybe more than a tad bit. This year I had better luck purchasing toddler clothing. The prices were great. The selection was decent. Sales and clearance prices are clearly marked. I asked a store associate to direct me to the type of clothing I was looking for and he was helpful. The clothes were super cute too. I really liked and appreciated the young lady that was my cashier. I didn’t have any coupons to use since this was not a planned trip and I’m not sure where to get coupons. She asked me if I had the rewards card. I recall setting up an account years prior when shopping for a baby-shower. She looked up my account for me while I was searching for my card. No discounts earned. What she explained is that if I did have coupons on my account she would be unable to see them-only I can access them and print them out. Here is where she went above and beyond, because this could have been the end of it. She printed out my account number for me, told me that there is a kiosk computer in the nursery area where I can look up my account to see if I have any coupons and you can print them there(near where you do the registry). I could pay for my items, go back to see if I had any discounts to print, bring coupon back to the front, return item and re-purchase or leave items at register, go check computer, come back to the front to purchase. I just went ahead and paid, which was good because as it turned out, I didn’t have any coupons anyway. FYI: If you forgot your coupons at home, have no fear-there is still hope.

Wow, this place seems so OLD on the inside. I went here for baby shower gifts because I didn’t feel like driving out to the real Babies ‘R Us in Chesapeake. Next time I’ll make the drive. It was dingy, had less selection, and a few employees(I waited a while to print a registry and a while to pay). The selection not great. I wouldn’t go here again.
