Honey Baked Ham

Pretty good eats here!
So I have never stepped foot inside until a few weeks ago, and this was only because at some point I signed up to receive emails and specials offered from the restaurant. As a result, earlier in the month, I received an email to receive a free sandwich for my birthday! Oh my — I figured I’d redeem it before it expires and that way I will get to try it out for free and not regret spending money and not liking it.
Well leave it to me to not fully use a coupon and be happy. Aye yi yi!
So I walked in and he smells super yummy inside! I presented my coupon and stated what I only wanted on the sandwich. But the associate asked if I wanted to make it a meal — grrrrrr — sure, I replied as if I was paying for the meal without a coupon!
So then I thought, well I’ll pass on the meal to my mom as a «just because» gesture. Therefore, I ordered the sandwich and chose the pasta salad with sweet tea. The same associate that took my order prepared my order too.
Overall, the visit was about 10 minutes or less. I had some time to browse around and saw some yummy condiments for sale! This restaurant not only sells foods on the spot, but they cater also, sell huge hams, boxed lunches and desserts too! I had no clue. There is also limited seating inside for those that choose to dine in.
I noticed large refrigerators in the front too — oh they are the real deal here — so it seems!
Well, I ended up eating the sandwich — sorry mom! I just had to try it for myself. I passed on the pasta salad — but the sandwich though :)
The sandwich was soooooooooooooooo good!!! I mean I could have had some more meat on the sandwich, but that would just be super greedy of me. Because the sandwich was just right!!! Portion control! Now the sandwich comes with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato and maybe one other thing, but I only had mustard and lettuce on the sandwich.
I believe I had the original ham sandwich, but in checking out the menu they offer several variations. Oh I will definitely return! Recommend here — certainly!!!

Oh I visited about 5pm on a Thursday and I was the only customer. Not sure how busy they are — but this time was perfect!

Three days prior I ordered a bone-​in ham (10 – 11 lbs), and a sweet potato side, via their website. Received a corresponding email order confirmation #. The day I arrived, the store was sold out of the size of ham I ordered. It was 3:50pm, the day before Thanksgiving, and there was a crush of people with a 20 min wait (totally understandable). However, I’m not sure why I received an email confirmation # if the product I ordered could sell out. Also, the sides are all frozen. That is not stated on their website (I thought they would be refrigerated). Store cashier was a little curt and haggard. Clearly the day had gotten the better of her. In the end, not sure if I would have been better off just getting a nice ham from Harris Teeter or Whole Foods.

Would you enjoy spending more time with your guests on Thanksgiving? The Honey Baked Ham store offers roasted or smoked frozen whole turkeys. The fully-​cooked frozen whole roasted Cajun-​style turkey will be tender, warm and moist after a hour and a half in a 350 Fahrenheit oven.
They also sell 7 lbs. honey baked hams.
There is a clean seating area on-​site to dine in or you can take your order to go.
The service was friendly and efficient.
It was easy and free to park.

I had the classic ham sandwich on a croissant. The ham was delicious of course and the croissant was extremely soft and buttery. The only thing that could have made this sandwich even better is if the bread was toasted a bit. I’m not sure that was an option but next time I go back I’m going to ask.

Awesome food! I wish I knew about this place earlier! I got a huge chef salad for 9.00 and it was delicious!!! Can’t wait for Monday lunch

My only complaint about this place is that they are not open long enough. They are closed before the sun goes down. The Tavern Club is perfect and one of the best clubs around here. They also have a good pineapple bliss sweet salad side that’s divine.

Great sandwich shop! Excellent service and made to order sandwiches with my favorite being the BBQ Stacker or Turkey Bacon Ranch! Cannot go wrong here!

Love love love the sandwiches! They are always fresh and tasty! The Turkey Bacon Ranch is my fav & the BBQ Stacker is a close 2^nd! The staff is so friend and delightful! They make you feel special each time you come in.
In addition to the sandwiches they offer a variety of take home meals and sides as well as sauces for purchase.

I never realized they had sandwiches but the ham & turkey Bella is great! There is a lot more in the store than just your holiday ham!
