This store has some good novelty candy you don’t typically find in most stores… However, this place is a headache/migraine sufferer’s worst nightmare!!! The day I went in there the music was blaring SOOO dang loud I literally had to shout to the woman that worked there. I’m not even embellishing. It was ridiculous. They had a jumbo snickers bar there for $ 20.00+ tax, and a week later I found the same jumbo snickers bar at target for $ 10.00 cheaper! I’m so glad I didn’t pay that outrageously marked up price for the candy bar there. I wanted it as a fun stocking stuffer for my husband. I won’t lie, I’m not gonna go back any time soon. I don’t even really think most of the stuff they have there is all that unique or anything that you can’t fine for cheaper at other stores(like I did) or at Amazon anyway.

Smaller than other«It’s Sugar» places that I’ve been too, but good nonetheless! They have Sour Patch candies galore, candy, gummis, and chocolate sold by the pound, specialty gifts, gag gifts, anything you could think of and would normally expect from any candy store. I was telling my boyfriend that any major city or tourist area that we go to, always has an «It’s Sugar» store around, so GO Virginia Beach Town Center, for having one now. It’s so «touristy.». lol. The place is cute, colorful, and full of candy, my 3 favorite things! The worker was helpful also. She took my email down to join the«club» and by joining/signing up for the club, she said I would be sent a coupon via email, for 15% off, and to not delete that email because it’s never expires! Winning. Cool little candy store; check it out if you’re in Town Center of VB.

My kids love this place! The employees are super friendly and made some great suggestions to help us get the most for our money. Don’t be afraid to ask for their help. One of the ladies the other night let my son try one item to see if he liked it. We opened the bin and commented about how it smelled like cinnamon. She overheard us and said that the previous contents were cinnamon flavored and told my son to taste one to make sure it was okay. They have a small area with some adult-themed candy. I appreciated her pointing it out when my son was wandering in that direction. Definitely sign up for the emails before you go, so you can use a 15% off coupon. We get the $ 9.99 box that looks like a Chinese takeout carton and cram it full. The nice lady told us it didn’t have to close and we could stick a bag over it to protect the contents when we were finished. She also suggested sticking the lollipop sticks into the candy when it was full to utilize the space. We’ve been twice now and we’ll go back soon.

Been here a couple times, I think the generic candy is better than the name brand candy, but it is a bit pricey. Got two of those small bags filled up and it cost over 40 dollars. Won’t be buying candy from there again, but it’s good if you can afford it.

They have a lot of really cool items here and of course a lot of the sugary variety… I like that they have some«Spencer» type items perfect for gag gifts and weird party gifts. Their location is awesome, right under the Funny Bone in Town Center, The first time you go in you feel like you’re at Willie Wonka’s Chocolate Factory :)

As a professional candy fiend, I must review this place. I was so happy when we finally got a candy store close by me in Town Center. The big«IT’SUGAR» letters in hot pink caught my attention when I first saw it. As I walked in, I was consumed by the bright colors and candy. I took no time digging in. The staff is always nice and I love how the candy is set up and organized. I have become a regular here… don’t judge me :). The only suggestion that I would have is to add more candy(Now & Later’s, Jolly Rancher Pops, Charms Pops, Cherryheads, etc).

This is a pretty cute little store in an excellent location. It is located just undernearth the Funny Bone comedy club in Town Center, Virginia Beach. It is easy to find as the It’sugar hot pink lit sign above the door will draw you in. As soon as you step inside you are assaulted by a blast of color from all directions. Everything in here is neon and bright and happy. They have tons of different types of candies, gummy bears, chocolates, hard candy, rock candy, and Hershey vintage candies. On top of all the candies they have tons of little gag gifts(like the Dick in a Box penis shaped candies) and fandom gifts. They had some B.Y.O.B. beer-shaped cans(Bring your own bears) filled with gummy bears that were cute, some Orange is the New Black items, some Hello Kitty, fun lollipops and tons of other stuff too countless to name here. I took tons of photos but in order to really know what I’m talking about you’ll just have to stop in the next time you are in the area.
