You know I used to really love this place until they started having problems couple times you go in the soda machines aren’t working tonight I go out in the registers not working time to go back to my old Zeros

My first ever Jersey Mike’s experience was here In VA beach. My boyfriend went to college in the dirty south and has raved about JM’s since I met him. When we got a chance to run into one when in VA for a wedding, we wasted no time. The reputation that preceded them had set very high expectations, but this place blew me away. A very simple sub shop with delicious and fresh ingredients that make all the difference. If you go, you have to order it «Mike’s way» and get it topped with oil, red wine vinegar, and salt/​pepper/​other random spices. Simply to die for… I wish we had one in Buffalo.

Ordered pick up and everything was wrong. Good subs though. Better if they got it right.

All you need to know is chipolte cheese steak. I’ve had pats, genos, Tony lukes, and if you’re from that area you know Tony bolonies in Atlantic city. This is the next best thing to Tony bolonies.

Very fresh ingredients. The bread is soft and delicious. I always get the cheesesteak with grilled onions, hold the peppers. The onions are thinly sliced and not overpowering. Small dining area and outside seating at this location. Friendly, helpful employees.

I came here tonight to grab a quick dinner. My first trip was good, nothing to write home about. However, tonight was another story. When I walked in there were 2 people in line in front of me and 2 people working behind the counter. There was quickly a long line behind me. I ordered my meal, a plain chicken philly on wheat. Easy enough, right? Wrong. I waited about 10 minutes for my sandwich and to pay, which is a long time for this place. When the girl checking me out handed me my sandwich, I asked her if this was my plain chicken philly and she assured me that it was. I paid, left and drove home. When I got home, I open up my bag and sure enough it was a sandwich that was not mine. Normally I’m pretty easy going but this was a steak philly with the works on white bread… I don’t eat beef, or any of the other stuff on it. I should have taken it back to the store but that’s way too much trouble for a sandwich.
Moral of the story: check your to go order before you leave!

Just had my first Big Kahuna Cheesesteak! It was amazing!!! Hot, spicy, cheesy, meaty, heavenly! Very clean, friendly staff. Must try! I used to have a hard time deciding between this sub shop and another restaurant in the shopping center. Never again! Jersey Mikes it is!!!

Jersey Mike’s is your typical sub shop. There’s a bunch of them around the city, and a new one recently opened by Lynnhaven Mall. I’ve been to this location most. The subs I have gotten here have always been good. I’ve never had any major issues here. The quality of the food is good, but the prices are a bit higher than other places where you can get similar sandwiches. Be sure to join their sub club if you come here multiple times, as you can earn free subs, and even get a free sub and drink on your birthday, which I took advantage of recently as well.

Love me some Jersey Mike’s, and the staff here always remembers my name and what I like. I know it’s a chain, but little touches like that make it seem like a «Mom and Pop» family establishment.

I enjoy Jersey Mike’s for their cheesesteak subs. It’s the right amount of melted cheesy goodness to keep me lickin my fingers after every bite. Ok, maybe not every bite because then that would make it a really messy sub. But for real, the cheesesteak is yum-​o, ya know for a standard chain sub shop.
The staff at this location is not awful but they aren’t super either. They do the job and move the line and believe me, at lunch that line needs to move! I’ve tried their turkey sub, which is decent as well. But honestly, I come here for their cheesesteak (if you haven’t taken that away from this review yet… something is wrong with you).

This place is great, they are friendly, you will get your food quickly and the subs are awesome. You get plenty of meat here, unlike Subway and the restaurant is especially clean, cleaner than the Jersey Mikes up in Columbus I think. I also like how they are staffed well and the people working all seem to have a smile on their face and enjoy working there. I know fast food isn’t a really good paying job but it’s a job and it’s nice to see people enjoying what they do. I have been here two times and will be back if I’m here much longer on business. You just can’t beat the Italian sub. It’s killer.

Always friendly, always delicious. Mini roast beef on wheat is sub perfection.

This is the second time I’ve seen unsanitary conditions at this location and I will not be coming back. The girl behind the counter was texting with her gloves on and I had to wait for her to finish before I could place my order! There were no customers in line and yet there was meat on the slicer and not in the refrigerator. She did NOT remove her dirty gloves to make my sandwich. (The first time I had an issue, a male worker came from outside, went behind the counter, and was about to start working with the same gloves he came from outside with but I objected.)

First time to Jersey Mike’s, and I was impressed. Ordered the roast beef and provolone «Mike’s Way»…delicious. Roasted beef was excellent quality and the sandwich was properly constructed. Also love the fact that everything’s cut fresh.
I did not have any of the problems that other Unilocalers listed. Only caveat was that the dude slicing the meat was slow as molasses. There was a line of 6 people and he had no sense of urgency.

It was good not great, but not bad either

Had lunch here today and was suprised it was not on Unilocal yet so here it is! Counter guy gave us a 10% discount. Had the #6 Roast Beef and Provolone Mikes way. The only way these could be better was if they used Boar’s Head Brand Cold Cuts. A cut above Subway! Also has a patio out side (out front and back) which is pretty cool. We sat out along Virginia Beach Blvd…
