1st time here… Came around 9a/No Wait! Breakfast buffet was average size. Liked the variety/eggs, bacon, french toast, sausage, biscuits & gravy, sweet potatoe fries, country fried chicken breasts, fried apples, salmon cakes, ham, pigs in a blanket, eggs benedict, waffles, pancakes, fruit, egg & crêpe & omelet station, greek yogurt station. They also have a FULLBAR available that early… yum! Breakfast drink specials/$ 3 Bloody Marys, Mimosas, Screwdrivers, Greyhounds, and Sangria(which I was not a part of this time). Price was good($ 15) not including drinks. Hostess & servers were very pleasant. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town. Maybe I’ll try the dinner seafood buffet…

Was staying at Hampton Inn across the street and missed breakfast. Didn’t want to walk far. Was just going to order off menu but for a couple $ more you could get whatever you wanted including omelets. The fruit was so fresh and cut into large pieces in what delicious. They had eggs bacon sausage chicken waffles gravy and biscuits. There was an idaho eggs Benedict. Hashbrown, poached egg and hollanaise sauce. And my husband got his grits. Something we don’t get up north. Everything tasted good unlike some buffets itwas great quality and quantity!!!

Pancakes are better here than at Pocahontas. I took a look at the breakfast buffett and decided to opt out and order off the menu instead. I got the chocolate chip pancakes with 2 eggs. Pancakes came with REAL whipped cream. Very good. Eggs were fresh. The only set back was that the oj wasn’t fresh squeezed as advertised, but the food was good enough for a 5 star review.

Expensive. Buffet has limited selection and food is of marginal quality. The place smells badly. Table was greasy.

Really good breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. Plenty of egg options, pancakes, French toast, fruit and desserts. $ 3 breakfast cocktails, too!

Had the pleasure of dining here this morning for the breakfast buffet. There were three in our party. We were immediately seated and greeted by a lovely young lady. We all chose the buffet. There were hundreds of items to choose from and we left very full. I had them make to order an amazing omelet with spinach/peppers and tomatoes. Fantastic! My only issue was the cost of drinks. It was a little pricey for a glass of apple juice that was barely 8 oz. All in all, the food was amazing, service was excellent and the value was good.

Delicious buffet and amazing service. Best omelette and crepes in town. I totally recommend it if you are in town.

My experience at breakfast was wonderful! From the moment we walked in, my husband and I were greeted with smiles and wonderful service. I ordered the $ 9 french toast meal which arrived at my table in what seemed like only 5 minutes! The eggs were cooked well and the coffee was fresh. The French Toast was a little smaller than I expected but was still tasty. My husband said the fruit from the buffet was sweet and fresh. You can stand in that long line outside of Pocahontas Pancakes or you can come here and have a great breakfast in under 10 minutes. I will definitely be returning — possibly tomorrow :-)

Came here after a five hour drive from North Carolina and was craving seafood. We opted for the all you can eat buffet for $ 29.99 which is a little steep, plus I’m not a big fan of the buffet either. Many choices of crabs, shrimps, fried oysters etc. And if you wanted meat it was also available. The drink menu was pretty good it ranged from $ 4.00 to $ 10.00 dollars not to shabby. I enjoyed my crab legs they did refill them from time to time. When our bill came we noticed that we were only charged $ 47.50 for the entire bill, apparently we were just charged for the drinks and not the buffet. Since we’re honest New Yorkers we brought it to the waiters attention and he apologized for the mistake.

I am not a seafood guy. I like fish every now and then but I am kind of intimidated by things like steamed clams etc. This was a special occasion, however. The European server stated that the seafood buffet was 30 dollars. It was a steep price but completely worth the climb. I was able to sample a little of everything and fill up on what I liked without having to worry about wasting the crab legs because I crack them like an idiot. I may not know seafood that well but I know I enjoyed my food, which I was not expecting.

The place was empty and I don’t know why!!! There was a great variety of food on the buffet, the staff was super attentive and nice, the deserts were TODIEFOR, and now I feel full, bloated, and ready to go sit on the boardwalk and watch the waves. Free parking, great location… GOHERE!!! Yummy! Also… The bathrooms look recently renovated. They were really nice & clean.

The crab sandwich that I ordered was Awful! Greasy, not hot and flat as a pancake! When I said it was awful, and obviously not going to eat it, the reply was«our regular chef is out today.» And rather than offering to get me something else, they took my Beer off the tab ! That is unreal! Do not go —

The crap was dry, and everything else was pretty bad. I wish these people were self aware.

My wife, kids and I were in the mood for a breakfast buffet on the last morning of our vacation in Virginia Beach. After poking around the reviews, we decided to give Nautilus a shot. The reviews were a bit all over the place, so we went in hoping for the best, but acknowledging that some people had some serious gripes with the place. We all ordered the buffet, which was $ 13.99 for adults, ½ price for kids under 10, and free for kids under 5. Since I have small children, this meant we all ate for a fairly reasonable price. The buffet is well stocked with everything you would expect on a breakfast buffet(eggs, meats, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, etc), but it also had some nice unexpected extras: omelets made to order, rice pudding, breakfast burritos, pigs in a blanket, greek yogurt, and fried chicken and gravy. My only complaint was with the crepes. While they tasted good, they weren’t made to order. I wasn’t sure if they were made in house or store bought. I was looking forward to taking my daughter up and showing her how cool it is when crepes are made, but was a little dejected when the crêpe was just picked up off of a stack. Minor, but disappointed nonetheless. Overall, we’ll definitely hit up Nautilus again when we are in town. While I like Pocahontas Pancakes(what seems to be the consensus favorite breakfast place) it is not worth a 15+ minute wait. Pocahontas is a good, reliable breakfast food, but it isn’t mind blowing. Nautilus is the same as well — good, reliable, and all you can eat.

The food was great… The service not so much. I guess our server wasn’t feeling the vibe we were giving off or something… I mean, just left the beach, super starved, and just having a great experience all around and then this… I wont be coming back, when I am back on a beach vacation… Oh well…

I went here with my family for breakfast on the last day of our vacation for their buffet as a last resort. I was a little wary of eating at a seafood place for breakfast, but as all other options came with about a 45 minute wait and hunger brought with it desperation, I gave in to the call of Nautilus with its nearly vacant parking lot. What a surprising, hidden gem it turned out to be! Now, I can’t vouch for lunch or dinner, but I can say that I was more than happy with what they had to offer for breakfast. Yogurt with assorted toppings, fried tomatoes, grits, home fries, fresh-made omelets and crêpes, and several other tasty options. It isn’t the biggest buffet, but there are a lot of healthy options and everything is of good quality. I stuffed myself on a few plates and we hit the road home as one happy family. The only regret I have is passing by Nautilus several times in favor of other places before eventually stopping in anyway.

My Husband and I had a great experience at the Nautilus Restaurant. The food was delicious. Especially the sweet snow crab legs and the homemade desserts. Will definitely go back. Our waitress Teddy was amazing. She was even thoughtful enough to give us to go cups since it was hot outside. Great customer service!!!
