If I could give a Negative 1 star rating I would. I don’t like Chinese food vegetables, so I always ask for no vegetables. But unfortunately the kind of Chowmein my Grandparents like is from this particular restaurant. So I went all the way home to find out that they put every vegetable possible in both my Szechuan chicken and my Shrimp fried rice. So when I brought it up there, they didn’t remake it, they took tongs and picked out the vegetables and reheated the meat. Never Again! That’s horrible customer service in my opinion! I’m sticking with China Kitchen for my food from now on!

We order from here about once a month; sometimes they deliver, and sometimes they don’t… it just depends on whether or not they have a driver on. We have tried most of the local chinese takeout places at some point in the last couple of years, and this one beats the one on Fordham Drive hands down. My husband is Filipino and is picky about pandit, and theirs is decent. They put TONS of shrimp in it. The food never tastes like it has been cooked in old oil, like some other places. My husband orders Moo Goo Gai Pan often, and unless you specify that you want it in white sauce(the standard sauce for most places), they put it in a brown sauce which he said is not as good. They overestimate their delivery time and the food usually comes MUCH faster than what they tell you– definitely a good thing when you are hungry :) The only beef I really have with them is that most of the employees have an extremely difficult time understanding you on the phone, even if you spell things out for them. That has not stopped me from ordering from them! When the craving strikes, they are my favorite chinese takeout.

The lady was friendly enough and the food didn’t take long at all, but I ordered General Tso’s and it was so nasty!!!

The food here is pretty good. It’s nice to be able to order pancit somewhere that doesn’t drench it in grease and also uses the right noodles. The lumpia is good as well. It’s nice to enjoy food that doesn’t have onion as the main ingredient which seems to be rather common in this area. I have had a few other items from their menu and have not been disappointed. The establishment is not very clean. The floor could use a good scrubbing and the tables could use more attention in between customers(they seem to have a great influx of customers). If you are looking for friendliness, look elsewhere. They aren’t rude, they just aren’t friendly. They get right down to business. They take your order, turn it into the kitchen, and are on to the next customer. I haven’t seem them even crack a slight grin any of the times I have been there, but I didn’t go there for their personalities. I went there because the food is decent… actually better than most other Chinese food restaurants close to me.

I just stopped in to grab some dinner and found the food to be quite good. I ordered hot and spicy beef. The beef was tasty and had lots of onions and peppers along for the ride. The service was quick and efficient. I will be back.

We get the steamed dumplings every time we go. Delicious! Not the best Chinese restaurant we’ve ever been to but it is close by and their food is good.
