This is our go to place for Chinese!
Always had very friendly service (both in store and with any delivery drivers), and the food is always good. On occasion its been a little blander than we’d prefer, but over all good.
My only «negative» is that you used to be able to order online, which saved a ton of time because I could order quickly without being tied up on the phone. It seems the online ordering is constantly up and down again.

I really dont like chinese food, because I do question it alot of the time but I will say tung hoi is the only chinese food I will get. Great service and amazing food! Best general tso, and sweet n sour chicken.

Usually get take out when I order. People who work are are very friendly. Their lunch portions are huge for no more than $ 7. I really like their wonton soup and general tso chicken.

Somehow this takeout in a sketch shopping center has managed to win my heart. As a Chinese person I get real picky about my Chinese takeout. The food here isn’t overly greasy or bad quality, just too saucy at times. I have a few takeouts I like a lot and they’re one. I have issues with the hygiene of many other takeout places where I see the cook smoking in the kitchen, or worse yet while cooking! Or when shrimp tastes like its past it’s prime. There’s none of that nonsense at Tung Hoi.
They do use A LOT of sauce to appeal to the Western palate, and they’re heavy with the corn starch so it can get way goopy and overwhelming. So I often order with «light sauce» or switch to their lighter «white sauce».
Try the chicken wings. Lightly battered. They have a nice five spice-​turmeric flavor and they’re always hot and juuuuuuuuicy! Truly a favorite.

Delicious food and a very friendly, efficient staff. I drive a few minutes out of my way — pass other Chinese spots — because they are that good. I look forward to when they get their online ordering system up and running. They advertise online ordering but it doesn’t work.

I’ve had good experience with Tung Hoi in the past; however, when I got take out from them last week, it was sub-​par. I was really disappointed. We ordered the General Tso chicken. Usually, it’s exceptional; this batch… not so much. The sauce was way too sweet. It tasted like candied chicken. The roast pork lo mein was way too salty. I know Chinese good is salty, but this was disgustingly so. The beef in the beef w/​mixed vegetables was chewy and it was swimming in soy sauce. Oh, and they gave us stale fortune cookies.
I’m definitely not coming back to this establishment. There are two other Chinese restaurants in this area that have never disappointed me, so I will frequent them from now on.

Great place for Chinese. Would walk here after getting out of school to eat with friends or get some quick, cheap food if I needed to run back to the school for after-​school activities. The staff is always very pleasant.

I had never had food poisoning until I ate at this place. It was so bad I had to be taken to Princess Anne. The ER physician said without a doubt it was the shrimp fried rice.

Tung Hoi is in a sketchy shopping strip, but it’s my favorite Chinese take out restaurant. Their food is always on point. The staff is friendly and my food is always ready in «10 minutes» lol
I’m forever craving their szechuan shrimp! It has a kick to it, which I love. You can order anything, and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Good and filling Chinese food. I know Americanized Chinese food is pretty much all the same, but there’s something a little different in the taste of Tung Hoi. I can’t really describe it other than that.
On the surface, this place is just like any other fast food Chinese place. Small front of the house, few tables, menus and ads stuck on the window, large menu above the counter, view of the kitchen from the counter. But the people are super friendly, my friends and I are repeat customers and they recognize our faces. But it is good Chinese food, I like that they use straw mushrooms in their cooking. It almost hovers in that gray area of Authentic Chinese food and Americanized Chinese food.
