I moved to The Palms in September and I will say that I absolutely love it here! The staff is nice, the maintenance crew are amazing, Malibu Elementary school is 0.5 miles away and the property is centrally located so everything is extremely close! We have a new gym at the complex as well as resident activities!

Awesome customer-oriented staff in this pleasant, quiet and well-groomed community! The maintenance crew is honest and efficient. The Palms is ideally located a 20 minute drive from the boardwalk of Virginia Beach. It is a safe, kid-friendly, and located in an excellent school district and nearby an accredited daycare(Kindercare Rosemont), BJ’s, Kroger, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Home Depot, etc. When you are a resident, you are given the ‘Palms’ decal to put on the windshield of your car. It is easy to park on their private parking. A team will tour the premises daily to town cars without the Palms decals. Guest cars are welcome to park on the street. The clean pool is monitored by a lifeguard during the summer. Community events are organized regularly throughout the year with free foods, gifts, …It is a lovely way to get to know your neighbors. Each building has a washing machine and a dryer onsite. Both works with coins. Leases are month to month, six month or a year. You can pay by automatic wire transfer monthly through their website.

The staff here is incredible! Unfortunately You can almost never park near where you live. Like never. If you don’t work and never leave then you can park near where you live. Otherwise you may as well take the bus or risk getting a ticket. Seems like a dumb complaint I know but think about coming home every night and have to park several blocks away. Forget about loading or unloading your car. First come first serve is a seriously bad parking policy. If They came up with a way to assign spots then it would be great. Until then enjoy the hike.
