I had the most pleasant experience at Providence Grill today. It was my first of many visists. The staff were amazing. Great customer service from the time I walked in the door. The food was big and tasted great. I even had a couple who were there having their«anniversary breakfast date» secretly pay for my meal as a token of appreciation for my military service. The staff handled the gesture perfectly. How much more paying it forward can you get!!! My waitress Amber was by far the best experience of the whole experience though. I’ve never drank so much coffee at one time in my life. She was on point. Definitely recommend PSG.

We really enjoy coming here. This is our go-to breakfast spot when we just want a cup of coffee and something familiar. They have a breakfast buffet, but we haven’t tried it. I have had many of their breakfast offerings and have been happy every time. I also enjoy getting their BBQ sandwich or BLT. My wife usually gets one of the wraps and has liked them all. Bottom line; this is a no-frills, american style, restaurant with good service and delicious comfort food.

I was in the area this past Friday AM looking for some good breakfast that wasn’t fast food. I figured I’d try this place since it was renovated and changed hands a couple years ago. I was plesantly surprised at the nice interior. My waitress was your typical diner gal, but quite the angel and nice. I ordered one of the platters and ended up with too much food. For like $ 8 I got two eggs, half a Belgian waffle, two sausage patties, and two French toasts. My body was not ready, since I had to eat the french toast later. The turkey bacon was quite good, so was the waffle. Eggs were decent, they’re over medium, what else can you do to dress them up?! I had an excellent array of coffee supplies and left happy. Definitely going to try this place again.

My friends and I did the murder mystery dinner. First let me say the price info on the murder mystery dinner is misleading. The price is $ 36.25 plus tax. But it says you can get $ 10 coupon. So we all thought it was going to be $ 26.25 with the coupon. What it doesn’t say is the regular price is $ 46.95 and will be $ 36.95 with THE $ 10 coupon. The food was ok it was buffet style. The mash potatoes and green beans had no flavor. The murder mystery part was fun.

Not to be confused with Providence«Road» Grill, which I always do. I always accidentally end up checking there in stead of here, Providence Square Grill. I need to pay attention! This place is awesome! I’ve been a handful of times and have never been disappointed. It’s only a mile or so down from the Kempsiver IHOP, and you’ll get way better food and service here! The place is clean, spacious, & bright. The servers are awesome. Try to ask for Diane/Lady Di. Love her! She makes good recommendations and is just a sweet and awesome lady. I’ve never ordered lunch here; I stick to their breakfast food. Last time we came, my mom did order Calamari and it was delicious! Perfectly seasoned and fried, just so yummy. She also had the fish sandwich(which was a huge portion of fish; she loved it!) I don’t really love their French Toast here; it’s just«ok» to me. What I would totally recommend though, is their waffles. Love, love, love! Especially topped with strawberries or blueberries. And I can’t usually get just the waffle alone; I need to do the combo with the eggs and bacon, duh! They do have other offerings, but like I’ve said; I’ll come back & just stick to breakfast! If you come here for it, your taste buds & stomach will thank you. :) P. S. They also have an all-you-can eat breakfast buffet during the weekends!

The Food is So Good! There is no Sysco crap up in this place I can assure you of that if there is they do a great job doctoring it up! All of the food seems homemade and all of the fruit is fresh!!! They really do a great job with making items on their menu unique and yummy! The girls that work here are very humble and sweet. My only one additional comment that has really nothing to do with the food or experience… The owner has a good staff and I hope that they can see that! Sometimes owners of restaurants can get so wrapped up in bringing in more business and growing that they leucite of a great team they have and I hope the owner takes advantage and shows their staff how great they help their business grow all on their own!

I have dined here before for dinner. My burger was cooked spot-on just the way I requested both times. The fresh cut fries were hot and crispy tasty that I ended up almost eating that before taking a bite of my burger. My second time around for dinner, my waitress Becky served me well. Because of her I will come again. My experience the first time for breakfast was NOT so impressive. It took about 20 minutes before the waitress took our order. My boyfriend’s scrambled eggs were overcooked. My eggs were NOT soft scrambled. He didn’t want to come back again. I gave dinner a chance and was satisfied. Hopefully my guy will return to dine here for dinner with me next time.

Contrary to popular belief, they are open on Sunday’s. They have nasty competitor that writes bogus reviews. Great food and wonderful people. Becky is the best.

Stopped in for the breakfast buffet this morning. Staff was very friendly, but the buffet was only so-so. Eggs sat too long and the French toast was hard. The bacon was all crumbs, but the waitress did bring us fresh bacon when asked. For $ 10 a person… not totally impressed.

Popped in on a weekday for what turned out to be an A-OK breakfast. I was the only customer, which left the waitress with no one else to talk to, which was interesting. But that’s how it goes sometimes. My corned beef hash omelet was exactly as ordered. Perhaps not exactly perfect, but it was tasty and reasonably assembled. Some chefs prefer to fold the corned beef in the middle of the omelet, this one seems to like mixing the hash in with the eggs. To each his own. The home fries were quite good. Nice enough and while I wouldn’t go out of my way, I don’t see why I wouldn’t return to Providence Square Grill if I’m in the neighborhood.

1ish on a weekday. Great service, very friendly server that checked on me several times to make sure that I was pleased with my order. My order: Stuffed French Toast adorned with a ricotta/cream cheese mix and very fresh strawberries. The bread was thick and fluffy. The strawberries were fresh and crisp, not syrupy and wimpy. The fruit was perfectly cut and expertly displayed. The filling and whipped cream were plentiful. The presentation was splendidly beautiful. This was quality work folks so I’m interested in returning for a more savory lunch dish in the future. Fellow Unilocalers I’ll be scouring through your reviews and photos for suggestions. — — — — - Ther is plenty of seating in the dining room and to the left of the counter it appears to be a party room. There are two single stall bathrooms in the back near the kitchen they are both behind an entry door. I like this set up because you don’t have to hear toilets flushing while you’re eating especially not if you’re seated close to the restrooms.

Must go to restaurant!!! The food is soooo delicious and well priced. I’ve been there a number of times now and try a new plate every time. Their pancakes are mouth watering and their French toast is terrific. The customer service is so attentive and warm every time I go. The restaurant is always clean and organized, which for me is always important. I highly recommend this place to everyone. It’s one of my favorite rwstirant

Love the hometown feel you get here. Complete with the waitresses with 20plus yrs of experience. The food was good. I got a sampler plate and a bagel sandwich togo. The food tasted local… like…it was not a commerical restaurant. I think I will go back next week because there were other items I’d like to try. Prices were decent. A little less than IHOP.

Met up with some old and new friends at PSG yesterday morning. I don’t venture toward Kempsville Virginia Beach too often so it was nice to see a breakfast place near where I live in case I have the case of a terrible hangover.(I’m more a Village Inn kind of guy but this place isn’t a chain.) Go for the sampler breakfast if you’re hungry. It came with two strips of bacon, two sausage links, two eggs, two pancakes and ½ a waffle. Everything tasted just fine. I’d go for the waffle over pancakes based on this experience. I normally go ape nuts over pancakes but these weren’t so good and I even left some on the plate to be throw away. That’s never a good sign for me.

I came here for a Murder Mystery Dinner special, which was interesting to say the least. It was obviously in a private room, away from the actual restaurant dining room. Dinner was buffet style. First course was salad, meatballs, and extremely hard dinner rolls. Service was understaffed. One very overworked server named Nikki was handling the entire room of, I guess, 60 people and their drink orders. The Murder Mystery part began and it’s really hard to explain. It was comedic, at best. Then dinner was served. Now we had buffet options of mashed potatoes and gravy, fried tilapia, roast beef, overcooked chicken tenders, and other underwhelming picks I can’t recall. While we dined, the murder mystery went on, and on, and on. It was seemingly endless… to the point where I’m sure we weren’t the only group to have lost interest. But at least it became interactive. The host started including various guests in the storylines and some guests included themselves. Dessert was served, unofficially(like every other course — who worked here other than poor little Nikki?) Choices of carrot cake, chocolate cake, and limited cheesecake. There was also the option of purchasing alcohol with your meal, which you would probably definitely need. It was incredible how they were able to drag the mystery out for two hours before revealing the killer, and the winner and prizes. If I were to recommend this, it would be a one-time only thing. And you have to be with people that can make anything fun. Cause this was a ridiculous blast because of them, and the Retsina.

Love this place. We have been here twice and each time it was good. The service is wonderful. The renovation was well done. Clean, crisp colors and comfortable seating. We both enjoyed Fried Seafood Combos with Greek salads. The seafood was great. It came out hot and satifying. The dessert was baklava. Excellent! The rolls were hard from sitting under an extremely hot heat lamp. The side selection is interesting. The sweet potatoes are yams that are overcooked and sprinkled with ground cinnamon. The collard greens are diced up like mixed greens, VERY firm and not seasoned in anyway. Definitely not southern style. The restaurant is definitely worth going to because the waiter staff is amazing, the owner is delightful and the main entrées are delicious. Try the Greek Salad. It is big, full of olives, feta, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, etc. and the dressing is amazing.
