Terrible! Went to the same stylist asked to keep the length but give it body. What I got was choppy and uneven! I’ll let the picture speak for itself. I asked for a manager and was told she couldn’t see me until Monday. I guess I’ll have to pay for someone to fix this horrible mess!

I’ll be the first to admit, I am a freak of nature when it comes to my hair. Prior to going to this salon, I had never been back to see a stylist more than once (never double dipping). I usually perform a sort of «hit and run» with beauty salons –going in for a single visit where I let the person have their way with me and then write them off due to their mediocrity in creativity. That was until Christiano Cole started doing my hair.

When I went in for my first visit, I had no idea what I wanted. I honestly told him, «Do whatever you want, so long that it is not the current ‘dirty dishwater brown’ that it is». It was icky and I knew it. His face lit up like Christmas morning and it was evident that it had been a bit since someone had given him total creative freedom on their locks.
I told him to surprise me and that I did not want to know what he was going to do until he did the «post-​blow dry turn around» –the big reveal. He graciously obliged and offered me some coffee (a nice touch).
The salon was okay. It had just been remodeled and while it seemed to lack any central theme, I didn’t really care too much. I’m the type of lady that would rather have Gisele Bundchen hair done in a dirty closet, than go to a salon that resembles the Taj Mahal walking out looking like a broke down version of Coolio. Sue me.
Christiano began applying the color: briskly, thoroughly, and the entire time keeping me entertained with conversation. When he was done, he washed me out in the shampoo bowl. It felt INCREDIBLE, he was firm but not too firm.
Then, he gave me the most beauteous blow dry I have ever had. I felt like a Victoria’s Secret model with all of the attention. He flipped me around aaaaand …
BAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMM!
Amazeballs. My hair looked and felt so silky, so bold, so red, so sexy. And the best part of all was that it looked perfect for me. It looked personalized and had a distinct style. It screamed, «I am a sexy power banker, give me your money and watch me take over the world». A perfect personification of the band Cake’s «Short Skirt, Long Jacket». Exactly what I was going for.
Bravo, Christiano. You have a customer for life in me. Now stop reading this and make an appointment with Mr. Magic Hands. Right now.

One day in February I woke up in a mood.
I threw myself a party, but that didn’t help.
The next morning, I woke up, called Rudy & Kelly salon, and made an appointment to chop all my hair off.
Christiano Cole, supreme diva to those stranded in crappy-​hairsville, listened to what I wanted, got a gleam in his fabulous little eye, and gave me the best cut of my life. Today was my 7^th visit (that’s once a month if you’re counting), and I’m still absolutely pleased. He cuts my hair however I ask him, and he is by far and away the best colorist I’ve ever ever been to. He recently made me such a believable ginger that I started getting sympathy hugs from strange (usually drunk) redheads about our plight.
The prices are fair (cuts are relatively inexpensive so you can afford the upkeep and some color), the staff is kind, polite, complimentary, and sunny, and I feel like a new lady every time I walk out of there. I’ve never had anything other than a great, great experience at RK.
If you’re not already in a long-​term, committed relationship with your hair place and stylist, I STRONGLY urge you to go get cut (and colored, waxed, and made up) with Christiano or frankly any of the fine folks at the Pembroke location.

Some of the hairstylists are fantastic… SOME. Others have shown to be unprofessional and not so great at their trade, even displaying some very rude behavior. All I can say is you get what you pay for… the stylists are on different levels. I have seen 3 where I had to go back the next day to have them ‘correct’ what they did (or did not do) even when I brought pictures in to show exactly what I wanted. One stylists flat out told me he would not cut my hair short when I specifically asked him to. ??

I had a great experience here. Go see Emily Painter! She’s great with color and cuts! I never write good reviews it seems, but this one is worth bragging about! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair! :))

Vince & Trish are amazing ~! Excellent hair/​color, they are master stylists & it shows. Will def be comming back !
