Bathrooms do in fact get dirty over the course of a night, but they were also broken… No need to get defensive, I’m just saying what I noticed. And VIP most definitely needs some TLC… You don’t have to be in Vegas to have a nice club. I liked the cave theme, just not the broken part.

Last night my cousin and I tried getting into this club and they turned us away based on my cousin being transgender. The door men were also very rude. I wouldn’t recommend going to this club if you don’t want to be judged.

I enjoyed this club. It’s a «hood» club with a lot of good music but it’s fun. Some of the men at the door are rude but you can tell they have everything under control. The bathroom toilet in the girls bathroom didn’t flush last time I went & that was really disgusting. I’ve never been on a Sunday but I hear it’s really live. To the point no one can get in. If you’re in the beach I would advise you to stop by this club.

I know this one of the only 18 plus places near the beach but seriously it’s not worth it. Most of the people that work there are assholes. Only nice ppl were the bartenders. This place is super dry and not where you want to spend your night. Music was also wack.

In defense of Brent K’s review. If «The Cave’s» clientele went to a country western bar and the DJ insulted them based on their race/ethnicity how would that be viewed?

Like the music but small dance floors. The interior looked like a cave. The appearance matches the name of the place. The drinks were made right.

we were looking for a place to go dancing and this place must have gotten good reviews somewhere, so this is where we went. first off, let me say that if you are white, you might think about going elsewhere. we were a group of white soldiers and the only white people in the place. it didn’t bother us one bit, we were dancing and having a good time. then the DJ started to make fun of us and was actually quite racist about it. there was no need for that, but the people in the club were actually laughing at us as well. I’ve been to dance clubs all over the country and this was a first. i hate to tell the patrons of this club, but it was pretty rude and for 10 bucks to get into the place, i expected a lot more. the dance space is VERY small, so if there are a lot of people here, there wouldn’t be much room to move around, though i did like the décor of the cave, it actually had the potential for a fairly cool spot to get your shake on. It’s pretty bad when you’re looking for a good time to pretty much get run out of a dance club because of the color of your skin, but that’s exactly what happened to us, and in day when nobody wants to be treated unfairly because of their race, the patrons and DJ of this little club were about as bad as it gets. we didn’t bother asking for our money back, but it was quite a shock to us, and left a bad taste in our mouth for the rest of the week regarding the clubs of Virginia Beach. In my color blind world, I expected a little better behavior especially from a group of people who would scream racism if this sort of thing had happened to them. Obviously I was raised differently than the patrons and DJ of this club. We sure do have a long way to go I suppose before this sort of thing doesn’t happen any more and that makes me sad.

Had a lot of good times here from 02 – 04. If the walls could talk in this place me, Miami homies, military homies, and va home girls could tell stories for a life time.
