My husband loves a kitschy diner and this breakfast spot looked the part so we went for it without reading reviews. We opted for the buffet at $ 10.95 per person and were sorely disappointed with the few choices, poor presentation, and terrible, tasteless eggs. French toast was cold, sausage gravy was canned, and the bacon was piled in such a huge, deep heap that I wondered how fresh it could possibly be. The fruit buffet consisted of underripe watermelon, some pulpy orange slices and some dried out looking canned options. Totally gross. No extra napkins were brought, the owner(?) seemed visibly annoyed, and they charged for soda refills.

Didn’t care for the food or service. Its on the main strip so I guess they don’t have to try too hard to get patrons. The hostess which I think is part of the family was nice and social. Waitress was ok, food not good. Coffee was horrible. Expensive too

The buffet was not too bad. $ 10.95 per person. Drinks about $ 2. Biscuits were not good to me. Gravy average. Pancakes and French toast good. Good variety of eggs. Party of 7 and wanted to split check 3 ways but not allowed for table, most they could split was 2. Clean restaurant. Service fast. Nice waitress. Friendly place. Convenient location from hotel.

Food is great, pricey though 2 people to eat buffet is $ 25 French toast is the best. Some of the food was too hard. Biscuits had that freezer burn taste. Bathrooms are small but clean.

We have been coming here for years. The food has always been great! We had the breakfast buffet and it was hot and delicious! It’s the best in town! The chocolate chip pancakes are outstanding too! Service was great and our server was very friendly!

This place is located on VA Beach main strip. They have a breakfast buffet, which didn’t look to appealing! Breakfast is served all day. The ambiance is casual and the service is mediocre. I dined alone and I wasn’t checked on nor offered water. I had to hunt my waitress down to ask for napkins, but she was eager to give me the bill. I was very polite towards to the waitress hoping she reciprocate my upbeat attitude but that was to no avail. The restaurant could use some sprucing up. The menu is average –breakfast is served all day and other American food is sold. The best part of the dinning service is the food comes out fast.

Strawberry French toast seemed overpriced and no free refills on the soft drinks seemed a little ridiculous. Breakfast buffet seemed to be stocked with eggs bacon and sausage but really didn’t see it being worth the $ 10.95 a person.

DONOTRECCOMEND. Log Cabin? More like Log poop after you eat here. Nasty pre-packaged food. The grits were watery and runny. It was 1.50 extra for them to throw a piece of American(plastic) cheese on top. This place is like the Truck Stop food we’d eat in high school when we were all hungover. If you’re looking to clog your arteries then roll onto the beach with remorse, this is your stop. Friendly service, I felt bad watching the nice waitresses having to deliver this slop to the customers. Over priced(which is an accomplishment for an $ 8 omelette to be considered over priced) for the microwaved food you get. No no

Awesome pancakes! A little bit of a wait, but quick to seat us considering the crowd. Diner feel but good size restaurant.

I came here three days in a row for breakfast. I enjoyed the food(which I will get to in a minute) but the service left a little to be desired. Not the wait staff — management. Twice I ordered pancakes, eggs and bacon. It was about $ 8, which I found to be reasonable. I really liked the pancakes(I ordered mine with chocolate chips), and they were generous with the chocolate chips. Some places skimp and that bothers me. But anyway, the eggs were standard, ordered them scrambled and no complaints. The bacon was crispy, which means it was PERFECT. Each day I ordered this I was very satisfied with my food and felt like I got my money’s worth. My last time there I ordered an egg sandwich. Cheese was extra, which I found odd, because that’s usually included with a breakfast sandwich but oh well. It was pretty good, the eggs and bacon were omlette-like and not a fried egg with cheese on top of that and bacon on top of that. But it tasted good, so no big deal. Each time there I had a good server, but my issue, as I mentioned above, was with management. My second day there I stopped in by myself. There were plenty of seats available. They seemed really irritated that I was by myself. At first they had me wait… I think until a table for 2 opened up, even though there was plenty of seating for 4. And the place wasn’t that busy, it wasn’t like seating me would have prevented a large party from sitting down right away. After they made me wait for a couple of minutes, they sit me at a table for four but tell me to «hold on» — whatever that means. After I sat there for a couple of minutes with no one asking if I even want a drink, I am told that I will actually be sitting at another table in another room. Okay. Fine. I get you want to maximize your profits, but you don’t need to be a jerk about. Sorry my being alone was an inconvenience for you! Anyway, I liked this place, management aside. The prices were very fair. Oh, they also have an all-you-can-eat buffet for about $ 11, which seems to be a very good price. I would definitely go back here if I make it down to VA Beach again. Good food, fair prices, decent service.

Breakfast for two was about $ 27 which seemed a little expensive for the quality of the food. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. It was okay. I spent less money at Cracker Barrel for much better tasting food. Service was pretty good and staff was friendly. The sausage was delicious and the pancakes were good. The eggs were all right. The syrup they had was probably the best thing! I don’t know what brand it was or if they made it themselves, but it was so sweet! This restaurant also offers a breakfast buffet for about $ 10. They sat is very quick and the food was also brought out quick. The location is also nice, being close to the beach.

In 2015, who doesn’t give free refills on soda? That was just the beginning. The place looks like it was built in 1960 and hasn’t been cleaned since. The breakfast bar is a joke. A few unripe fruits, powdered donuts, cold eggs, French toast, pancakes and the most disgusting sausage I think I’ve ever tried to eat in my life. Don’t waste your money. Spend the few extra dollars and go to Nautilus just down the strip. You’ll be glad you did. The buffet is MUCH better. for a buffet.

We are here for the first time today. The wait wasn’t long which was nice. The food was okay. Chocolate chip pancakes were so so, tasted like they used really cheap/bad chocolate chips. I had one bite of my bacon and it was so gross I almost threw up. It literally tasted like I licked the grill. Tasted like really really old grease Everyone else’s meals were sub par. The bathrooms were very dirty too. Not really a place I could see my family going to again.

Just so much wrong. Cafeteria food. I was sat at a table with my family facing the kitchen and was staring at tubs of «butter substitute» that my food was being cooked in. I tell you what, when my food came out I’ll be damned if all My food wasn’t covered in it and tasted like it. «All you can eat breakfast buffet» is a JOKE. Powdered doughnuts & fruits. Then pancakes and French toast and DISGUSTING heated eggs and a sorry excuse of bacon that tasted like it’d been cooked in week old constantly reused oil. Don’t even get me started on the service. We had our 3 kids with us and had to ask out waitress for kids menus and crayons. We ended up getting ONE kids and crayons. Then when asked to get at least one more she was very disgruntled about it. They weren’t even busy and it was poor service, disgusting«butter substitute» flavored food and their food besides being covered in that crap had NO seasoning. Go somewhere else.

I really enjoined their breakfast buffet :) and the servers are wonderful and happy :) what also made my day was the people next door who had a joke or two before we walked in made me and my man laughing through the door. The greeter was nice as well. Very friendly:) also the prices are decent. Perfect if you have a large family and wanna have an assortment of breakfast foods :) only thing I recommend to them is that they bring healthier choices on the menu.(((Although the Buffet has fresh fruit)))
