My entire family got the«runs» from eating here. The owner is cheap and refuses to hand out water cups because he wants to force you in to buying a soda. Didn’t even have napkins on one occasion. Salsa has was too much garlic POWDER added to it; chips were stale with an old grease smell. Save your bowels from the wreckage and avoid this place at all costs.

Went in on Feb 17, around 3 o’clock. I don’t know the cashier’s name but she was extremely rude. Worst service I have ever had. I even asked her if she was having a bad day and she replied with a «nope» with an attitude. I did not get a «thank you» and she practically threw the change at me. It’s a shame considering I love the food. Unfortunately, the horrible service outweighed the food and I will not be back.

Chiquitos has decent food for a great price. Its perfect for a college student. HOWEVER, there customer service makes it not worth it. It is only one worker that has the bitchest attitude I’ve ever seen. I feel bad for ordering food there. First off, the girl can’t count. I have seen two instances where she has given the wrong change. The first time it was off about three dollars. My friend had given her a ten dollar bill and she gave back .70 cents when the meal cost seven dollars. When we told her she said that they ran out off pennies. We then explained that she owed us three dollars and she denied it and gave us a horrible attitude. She called her manager over and she kept whispering in his ear that she gave us the correct change and the manager, like one should, gave us the change. Even if we were wrong, which we weren’t, is three dollars worth losing a customer that comes here almost daily? The second instance was with another cashier and when told she gave the wrong change she saw her mistake and happily gave us the correct change. Now back to the first cashier. You receive chips and salsa with every order. for some reason, whenever she is there, they always forget to put salsa on your plate. Whenever I ask her for one when she forgets she either gives me a horrible attitude and gives me one or makes me bring up my receipt and food up to the counter. This doesn’t make sense anyways because the receipt gives no proof of whether or not she gave me salsa. It simply says that I bought a burrito. She hates when she is wrong and has an attitude continuously. Overall, when she is not there it’s great. I hope she gets replaced soon.

Never before have I seen such bad customer service. One of the women who work there is very rude and always gives the wrong change. On one occasion i was given the wrong chane by 6 dollars. A separate time I was given the wrong change by 3 dollars. I can’t tell who one of the cashiers is but she always seems to be in a very angry mood and always feels she is right when giving change. Apart from the terrible worker(most others seem fine) the food is good! I love being able to pay for 2 with only 5 dollars, and top it off it comes out quick! The chips and salsa are good enough, but sometimes they taste a bit… sour. Not to mention most of the burritos taste pretty similar. Quesadillas are very tasty and will definitley fill you up. I want to love this little place(especially since it is so close to COS), but the sub par service really hurts the restaurant.

I’m from San Jose, so when I found this taco stand I ordered a chile Verde Burrito and a Chicken taco to go, my order was ready in less than 5 minutes plus I got chips and salsa all for $ 4.09. Food was delicious I will definitely return, good food, great prices

2 meals = $ 5.17 Awesome prices for cheap food that will fill you up. The salsa is awesome. Had a chile and beef quesadilla and a bean and cheese burrito. Since the prices were so low I was thinking Taco Bell portions. No WAY! It’s very Americanized Mexican food, but great for a budget. Visit #2. Tried the Chile Colorado Burrito(which is $ 1.99 on M, W, F) and it seemed more authentic than the previous items I had tried. I LOVE their salsa! Just enough spice and flavor and a good size pre-packaged container which each item ordered. This is definately going to be my GOTO mexican place.

I hope your cheapness by trying to con customers into buying sodas and bottled by not giving out water cups is worth losing customers who have been coming here for years and referred many family members and friends.

2 simple meals for 10 bucks, includes chips, dip & side of guac & sour cream! Cheap, fast & convenient. Doesn’t get any better than this! If you’re low on dough, this is the place to go lol!

I eat here every chance I get! I first discovered this place a few years ago after a COS class with a friend, and the food quality has been consistant even up until just last week when I ate there. Everything is great, but particularly the enchiladas! They have the best enchiladas I’ve had anywhere, and I’ve tried it at many a Mexican restaurant. Some places are close, and the only other one that I would say is perhaps better, as far as enchiladas go, is Sal’s in Selma. But Sal’s is one of the best places for Mexican food, period. That’s a different establishment and a whole other review. I’ve really only had ground beef tacos and enchiladas at Chiquitos, both are delicious. The rice and beans are quite good. I can’t comment on the rest of their menu/meats, just that they have a surprising amount of variety for such a tiny little place. I disagree with another reviewer about the salsa, the salsa doesn’t taste store bought to me. Even if it is, it tastes good lol. This is a hole in the wall place that perhaps not many people know even exist. Its really small, like maybe 9 small tables, so not good for groups or celebrations. They don’t serve alcohol. Despite their size, they are definitely one of my favorite Mexican spots. If its just a few people or you need a place to grab food real quick, I recommend it. Whenever I’m there, I’ve noticed a lot of people go in for take-out. Wish they had one of these in Hanford. Closest comparison. probably Arsenio’s, which is okay, but doesn’t compare.

This place is forgettable and in need of an intervention. I imagine that they will be closing soon. Packaged shredded cheese on a carnita taco. Where’s the cabbage?! The salsa tastes like Pace with nastiness added to it. The chips were stale. The staff was friendly, I’ll give them that.

Good food but I remember a red hair cashier that treated me like trash. All I did was ask for the size of a chimichanga and she said it was a normal size you tard in spanish. Well that just f***ing pissed me off. Man I felt like slapping that b****. However it was ironic to say that the food was worth it. Aka-Good Food Horrrible Staff and Workerd.

I eat lunch here almost every day and I must say, this restaurant is simply phenomenal. Their diverse menu ranges from tasty Chile Verde burritos for $ 1.99 to luxurious variety combinations for around 6 bucks. Also, every food order(including take out) comes with chips and salsa. This place gives you serious bang for your buck combined with tasty and well made food. The serving sizes are not huge, but(for lunch) one burrito combined with the free chips and salsa always makes me feel like I’ve eaten just the right amount(and I’m a pretty big guy). Its rarely very crowded and they always have my food out in about two minutes or less(that’s faster than any taco truck I’ve been to). Everyone who wants some good authentic Mexican food, and especially those on a budget, should give this place a try.

They no longer serve chile rellenos now that Casa Grande has reopened. I would still go here regularly though.
