Baja Fresh

Absolutely love BajaFresh, especially being able to place an order ahead of time and picking dinner up on the way home. Any way to get out of cooking is a win win for everyone.

Wouldn’t recommend placing an order online-​they charged me twice (once online once in store) and it took over a week to get my money back. They made me bring bank statements, debit card, receipt. It was quite the process…
But I will say the manager is a nice guy and the staff is friendly. The food is always amazing. And I love the salsa bar.

Wow! Super amazed at how delicious my food was, customer service, and portion sizes! This place is a little pricey, but not enough to keep me away. I ordered the chicken taco meal that comes with rice, beans, and a side of small chips. If you want a drink, its separate. Also in the side corner is the salsa bar that has 6 different types of salsa, and 2 different kinds of peppers you can add to your meal, for free. I would definitely come back and eat again.

I tried this place for the first time with my husband. I must say, I was pleasently suprised! Full of flavor and delicious! We will be returning customers.

This place should get 0 stars. The food is fake Mexican cuisine and the salsa bar is not properly refrigerated. I got food poisoning since it was all I ate all day and couldn’t possibly have anything else come out of my body. Never trust an open salsa bar that is not well-​refrigerated or covered.

The counter staff was friendly as she took my order. However, after paying she turned away and began talking about the salsa bar and something else. I wish she would have talked to me directly as this was my first time visiting this restaurant.
I waited for sometime for my to go order and the place was not very busy. It sounded like the kitchen staff had a lot of questions regarding orders that had been taken.
I also witnessed, as people were picking up their orders, the extra stuff that had been ordered and paid for were not received. Items like sour cream and guacamole and chips, which probably added 3 to 4 dollars onto an order. The counter staff had plenty of time to ensure the orders were correct before paging the customer for pick up.
The food was made to order but the chicken and rice was bit dry. Thank goodness I saw the salsa bar and took salsa with me. Otherwise, it was nothing special and a bit pricey for two tacos, rice, and beans.
If you place an order to go make sure and ask for napkins and utensils because I got back to my office and had to find those items so I could eat my food.
Also, be careful because the cover on the plate does fit well, so your food will spill if the plate tilts ever so slightly. Aye chihuahua!

Went here a few days ago for the very first time. They seemed to have a problem with very large moths being in the restaurant, which was odd.
But anyway, I ordered the taco salad. A bit bummed that it didn’t come with refried beans but after learning that they use no lard in their ingredients then it made sense and I was cool with the whole beans. They also have no microwaves in the cooking area and everything is fresh.
The prices are a bit steep and that’s where it really got me. But if you want quality food you’ve gotta pay that price for it.
Overall, not a bad little place to eat.

I love this place! Food always taste great and is fresh. There are many great vegetarian and gluten free options. Plus they have a salsa bar with many varieties of salsa. I always end up ordering extra chips just to have a salsa tasting.
I have been here many times but always forget to check in because I’m always excited about the food. On another note~ they serve Coke products and freshly brewed iced tea… Which is important to know if you are a tea-​drinker. You can also buy a plastic cup and get $.99 refills forever
Service is always friendly and efficient. And the restaurant itself is meticulously kept very clean.
You can call your order in and pick up if you’re in a hurry. They also have gift cards and party platters available.

They are very good about being cautious with Gluten Free meals. Love their fish tacos and carnitas tacos. They let us know if there is something I cannot eat. Great service. Very pleasant and the food is always very good. Love the salsa bar. Great addition to a great meal. Thank you

I love the service here. Everyone’s always smiling and friendly. (Nothing’s more depressing than an unhappy, pimply cashier at a fast food joint.)

This is one of the best for this franchise. Always enjoy having this when zi’m rollin thru Visalia.

This place was good but not great. Love the Baja bowl, but really surprised at how much fat is in the burritos, the nachos, and many other items on the menu. For a place that advertises healthy eating, there is a lot of fat in their food. This salsa was below average and the chips were not fresh or hot. Okay as chain food goes but if you’re going to eat that much fat might as well go to Red Robin.

I go to this Baja Fresh location about once every two weeks for the past two years. I enjoying the smiling faces at the counter each time I come in for lunch or dinner. I order something different each time I go to eat and I have been pleased with the taste and quality of my food. I do the survey on the receipt which saves me $ 5.00 each time, but the service and quality of the food keeps me coming back year after year.

Not the best service I’ve had at a Baja Fresh, but good enough. Food here is better than Amigo’s. I’ll be back, even if only once or twice a year.

Food was very bland, which is probably why they have about six selections of sauces.

Definitely pricey for the food they are offering.
Not worth the money.

Went today for lunch. Staff very down and did not seem like they even wanted to be there. The burrito I ordered was not good at all. The tomatoes that were inside the burrito tasted spoiled. It was cold as heck in the building. I did not even finish my food. Better Mexican food at the local taco truck and MUCH less expensive.

Great place for lunch. Try the steak nachos!

I ordered a steak Baja burrito but it had a VERY strong crab/​fishy taste to it. When I commented about it they apologized but did not offer to fix it. The pico de gallo consisted of diced tomatoes and onions and was very bland tasting.
