My bf and I randomly popped in here and we were very pleased we did! I had the sope, and he had the flautas and both were filling and delicious! We went back a week later and had menudo, one of the best in town. Definitely going back.

Food is ok. Meat is dry sometimes. I had the tacos de asada, they were meh… Salsa is good. Beans were good. Flautas were too crispy. Service is always good.

Delicious food. Came for dinner had 2 meals. The 2 cheese enchilada dinner and the ground beef sope dinner both came with rice and beans. We ordered a large drink as well and the total came to 21.00. The food was authentic the enchiladas were delicious as well as the sopes. Glad we found this little place. We will be back for sure.

Nice spot to grab a quick bite. Service and food awesome. Not a place you bring a big group to but perfect for a couple. I had the shredded chicken quesadilla which was very yummy.

My wife and I got sick from this place a few weeks ago. I’m just writing this review right now. It was so bad that literally my wife was peeing from her butthole as she put it. We were up all night going to the restroom and couldn’t eat the next day. We each had a burrito de asada and shared a taco of carnitas. Don’t know from which the food we got the poisoning from. Just a heads up I loved that place until that day that scarred my life. Never again are we going back to this place. We literally couldn’t eat burritos de asada for a awhile because of this awful experience.

Great little place. Nice ladies that work there and yes, they speak English. The meat, beans, and rice has lots of flavor. Both the salsa are good. Food is authentic.

The chile they make there isn’t like every other water down restaurants. Everything taste homemade. There asada tacos are on point. Horrchata culd b better but honestly I can’t complain. Food is excellent.

Just like the other restaurant in North Visalia. Menudo on Sundays is why I love this place, its the best in town. Birria is also good, but I prefer the less spicy Menudo. Breakfasts burritos are large, service is nice. This Mooney spot can hold about 25 people comfortably, 30 max. Enchiladas and tacos are okay, seem about as good as other spots. They open up at 8am on Sundays, not 9am like it is posted. The homemade tortillas are good and seem bigger than other«homemade» tortillas at other restaurants.

So we have been trying to find good Mexican eats for a while and this joint really did it for us. The chili verde wet burrito was the best restaurant chile verde I have had. It was perfect. The chicken quesadilla were pretty good too. The nacho was loaded will goodness. The only thing I I could complain about was the asada tortas. It Was a little dry. I really loved that they used fresh avocado in it, But it was missing something. Other then that I think we FINALLY found a great Mexican restaurant that we really love! I will for sure be going back for that chili verde!

By far the best whole in the wall Mexican food in the city of Visalia, their enchilada sauce bomb, their sopes are delicious, the tacos to die for, and according to my boyfriend the burritos are fire!!! Homemade tortillas, rice and beans, the tacos do have a small amount of beans on them but the meat is so juicy and everything was delicious. I will say they’re horchata tasted like the powdered one makes with out the real ingredients and the selection for salsas are not that good other than that we will be back!!!

Delicious, and so far the best I’ve had in Visalia. Had a asada taco($ 2.49) and a bean and cheese burrito($ 3.99). They came with a green and a read hot sauce. I didn’t give a full 5 stars because the taco chould have had more cilantro and onions. The flavor and tenderness of the meat was awesome! With the homemade corn tortilla and a slight crispiness I’m already wanting more! Can’t miss with this one!

Can’t go wrong with the asada tacos. Home made tortillas are fresh. Inside feels like a little LA joint, which is supposed to feel like a little Mexico joint, which is probably linked to ancient Mayans. Point is, Foods good. Cuando te qurries tacos, vas ir.

I stopped by today and ordered two carne asada tacos to go. Tacos are $ 2.49 for meat and $ 2.99 for fish. The price may be a turn off to some but the tortillas are homemade and the tacos are larger than your average street tacos. I am used to cilantro and onion but these tacos came with pico de gallo and actually had a small amount of refried beans on them as well. Different but very good! The meat was seasoned and tender. Both the red and green salsa’s were quite good as well. It took them somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes for my order and they were not very busy. I believe it took a little while because they make them fresh rather than just slapping together reheated ingredients. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food. Again, it is definitely a different style but very tasty! UPDATE: I went back today for fish tacos and those were pretty good as well. I was disappointed they use lettuce instead of cabbage but otherwise the tacos were very good. I also tried their horchata. It seemed pretty standard and was on the chalky side.

Definitley one of my favorite mexican food restaurants in Visalia. The old locations are good and now this one is an added plus. The food is very good and taste fresh. Love the fish tacos! But everything else is very good as well, even the hamburgers. So far my new spot for tacos and probably will be for a long time. My only complaint is the place is super tiny, if you go during peak times you will be hard pressed to find an open seat. But the food is awesome!

Best tacos de cabeza I’ve had outside of Mexico. The birria and menudo on Sundays is legit as well and with hand made tortillas!
