Let me preface this by saying my hotel stay was unplanned, last minute, and was after a 10 hour drive. To sum it up it’s outdated and clean but what more should I have expect for a last minute $ 70 nights stay? The room I stayed in had new carpet which is always a plus but I hope wasn’t due to a disturbing scene. I’ve been to several hotels, resorts, etc and here’s how I rate them. Flat screen TV?(no), floral bed covers?(yep lol), quiet location/guests?(during my 1 night weekday stay, yes), comfortable bed(s)?(hard but clean). Oh, side note, this is the first place I’ve ever stayed in that actually had door keys.

I’ve watched the same dress sit here for 4 years. I asked about an un marked dress(it was wrapped in a dry cleaning bag dated 1991 on it) they had obviously just purchase or gotten for free from some estate. To find a price for me they looked up similar things on eBay. Ha! If I wanted to pay eBay prices I would shop from home not drive in the heat to the middle of nowhere. I’ve seen better prices in LA or SF. They think everything is worth a mint. Small town like this I bet they find it cheap or free. They run estate sales too, so in guessing they get the clothes for free from people who think clothes aren’t worth anything. Then they ask $ 200 for an 90s dress.

My only complaint was I was asked to leave my shopping bag @ the front desk and a few minutes later someone else was shopping with theirs, that made me feel like I was being singled out.

The proprietress was very friendly, the selection is decent, and well organized. The prices are on the high side. Find here: art, furniture, vintage clothes($$$$) and books($$$$) and other ephemera.
