Great food and great service. Been going to this place for years. Consistency is key to a great business. Keep up the great work! Cheers. Love the 4 course meal for $ 17.99 M-Th. and their Lobster Rita’s. :-)

We arrived around 6 pm. It was already crowded inside, but we didn’t need to wait. The food arrived within 15 minutes after we ordered it. While waiting, we enjoyed garlic salty biscuit. Food that my friend ordered was missing two items; aspergus and fried shrimps. So we let them know, and they brought them later. Food was nice, although foods look quite different from the pictures on their web site. I wish they could improve a little bit more on their house salad. Their salad mainly consists of iceberg lettuce, grape tomatoes, shredded carrots and cabbage, and some croutons. I think it’s off balance in relation to the quality of thier entrées. We knew that it would be pricy but overall it worth it. Service was okay. When we left the restaurant, there were several group waiting outside. It’s a busy restaurant.

Being a pescatarian walking into a restaurant like this is like walking into a candy store. Literally my options are limitless. I ordered the rainbow trout with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The rainbow trout was good and the mashed potatoes were average but of course my Achilles heel is the bread they give pre-meal. I ate about 4 or 5 of them and had to stop myself from further indulging. Probably my all time favorite pre-meal bread and I could probably eat a couple of baskets if let myself. We walked in with a group of 10 and the food came out quick for them being so busy. The one gripe I had was that the waitress did seem a bit grumpy and not as friendly. Overall experience was good and i walked out about 10 lbs heavier than when i walked in.

Called to place a to go order for the Seafood trio special, but the lady refused to read what options I had. She told me to look at the menu online myself and to call back when I had everything memorized. So rude.

Food here is pretty good but man are they skimpy on the proportions. Look at the salad. It’s like 1 piece of lettuce. For the High price of this place it seems you would get more food.

Stopped in for an early dinner. No waiting. Seated right away by one of the three hostesses. Joe, my server, was right on top of it from the get go. Kinda knew what I wanted so placed my order when he asked if I wanted to start with a cocktail or drink this evening. The mango strawberry virgin daiquiri was perfect. Had the mussles for an appetizer. Not hot but warm enough. Then had the dueling lobster tails with a side salad. I love lobster and it was delicious. Everything hit the spot. Very good all the way around. Would definitely recommend. Joe was great all throughout the meal. Never let my drinks go dry. Always asked if I needed anything. He was cordial and professional all evening. Saw how he interacted with other patrons. He is an asset to the restaurant. The general manager also came by briefly to say hello. Overall, I was very pleased with my choice of restaurants tonight. Been here a few times before and I’ll be back again.

Ok do my boyfriend and I went to red lobster for a date night and at first I didn’t want to wait 40 minutes but the wait only felt like 25 at most. We sat down and our waiter took or drink and appetizer order and let me just say that no matter the wait our food was always hot and yummy. Our waiter was nice and we never felt rushed. It was all worth the wait.

Rudest experience ever I called for valentines too see if they still did reservations they told me no and that there was a two hour wait. So then I told them if I could at least list my name down for the wait and the girls tells me «no bye» and hangs up! Very rude I will never be going there ever! If I can give it 0 stars I would

Tonight we celebrated my Birthday at the Visalia Red Lobster. There were 18 in our party with 4 of them being children 2 – 9 yrs old. We all ordered various dishes and everything was delicious. Our servers Alex and Michael, were very friendly and gave us great service!!! Even brought out birthday ice cream with a candle and sang to me. Thanks for a great night, we will be coming back ! Love to come here for the shrimp. Wife usually gets the parmesan crusted chicken… butttt come to find out they took it off the menu!!! What a scam! If you eat here do the review and tell them to keep it or bring it back. !!! If you haven’t tried it try it while you can you won’t be disappointed.

Great food but can’t be eaten without extra smells surrounding your food. The waiter with some rank cologne smell and the old man eating next to me smelling like if he’s been smoking for 30 years. Yuk.

They don’t do reservations and the wait is horrendous at least do reservations so people don’t have to sit around in the waiting area or outside for 2 hours. Rudest service at any red lobster I’ve ever been to. At least smile you are in the hospitality industry!

I come here once a year when my hubby and I are in town visiting family and we have gone here for his birthday for the past 3 years. There’s usually a wait to be seated; this year, I was surprised that even on a Monday night our group of 7 had to wait 25 – 30 minutes. Our waiter was friendly, kinda quiet. He provided more than enough of those delicious cheddar biscuits all night and quickly refilled our baskets even before they were completely empty! The only complaint I have is that he gave us a different drink than what we ordered and later told us «well, if I had actually looked at the drink, I would’ve noticed it was wrong!» :/ My in-laws who have come here more often than me recommend Penny as a waitress! She’s very friendly, funny, and attentive. Unfortunately this time they seated us outside of her usual section. I really enjoyed the lobster bake(a bit pricey) or the sirloin and garlic shrimp combo. I usually love shrimp scampi but I feel like the shrimps they give you for that dish are pretty small and just drowning in butter. The food is decent, nothing amazing but it’s probably your best option for seafood in Visalia. See you next year RL!

Our Family visited this RL on Saturday night(Aug 29th) and my husband and I went again on Tuesday(Sept 1st) afternoon. We usually only go once a month, as with three teenage boys the bill is always a big one. However, even though it costs roughly $ 150 for a family of five it is always well worth it. Our Saturday night meal was easy breezy because we didn’t get there until about 8:15 the place was only half-full. We were seated right away. We got the table requested(we need a slider booth for a disabled child) and our server Emily was MORE than accommodating to our little one who’s autism can sometimes be challenging. We ordered everything at once(drinks and meals) everything came out promptly, cooked perfectly and the cheddar bay biscuits never went empty. Neither did the drinks. Now, sure it may have been due to the fact that the place wasn’t packed but this is not our first rodeo at this particular Red Lobster. Like I said we go at least once a month for«Family Dinner Night» and this stellar service was just par for the course as far as MY personal experience goes. We have been to this location too many times to Unilocal individually and we have NEVER left upset. Which for my picky ass is saying a LOT! Almost every time a manager comes by toward the end of the meal to ask if we are okay and Saturday was no exception. He made sure our Family enjoyed our meal and was satisfied. Then he even joked with the kids about their dessert. Overall another 5 star experience at the Visalia Red Lobster! Way to go all and keep on keepin’ on…

I went in a few nights ago for lobster which I don’t do too often, being mainly vegetarian. I really wanted to have a decent dinner with my family but was sadly disappointed with the overall experience and will not return. The place doesn’t make a nice first impression when it smells like rancid fish. First, it took at least ten minutes for the server to even show up. Then, our drinks took even longer. We ordered our drinks and entrees all at once, so I supposed that may have held them up? I received my Caesar salad, which was wilted, overdressed, and not edible. It was truly ridiculous, then we received our meals and became even more disappointed. I ordered the rock lobster, and it was gross! Definitely not worth $ 30, it must have been previously frozen, it was tough on the edges and the center seemed undercooked and smelled fishy! I did my best to make the most of it, drowning my lobster in melted butter, which by the way, was served in a small to go plastic container that had been microwaved. Really? After waiting a long while for a box and the check, I had to get out of my seat and ask the hostess for help. We were there for about two hours total which is way longer than we are ever in a restaurant. I’d recommend going somewhere else!

Our visit started out fantastic with our waitress Cynthia. She was perfectly knowledgeable of everything Red Lobster and she provided top notch service. We ordered crispy shrimp lettuce wraps, calamari & vegetables and cheese sticks for appetizers. While waiting we noticed the big change in the interior. The quality has definitely improved. Holy cow the crispy shrimp lettuce wraps were 5 stars on their own. I will order them every time I visit. $ 9& change may seem steep for them, but wait until you try them. You’d pay more for them. The other appetizers were good too. For our main entrée we ordered the sirloin & shrimp and 12 oz New York strip steak. We both opted for the mashed potatoes and asparagus. These dishes earned 5 stars on their own as well. Seriously I cannot give enough praise to tonight’s visit. Let me be a little more honest. We drove past the restaurant not wanting to eat here tonight. We haven’t visited since last June because we had some horrible service and disgusting steaks with lobster. It was very embarrassing for the manager to say the least. Tonight was this location’s second chance. Holy cow they may have made us regulars. No joke. This is probably the best turn around between two services I’ve ever experienced. Kudos to Cynthia and the awesome night manager who kept us company tonight. And kudos to the back staff who did an awesome job with our meals. I did not expect this kind of quality tonight. I came in almost expecting to walk out disgusted again. But they proved us wrong. Maybe it is time to stop by here again folks. Give ‘em another try. Trust me. You won’t be dissatisfied!

So my coworkers and I ate here on one of our team trips. We were greeted and seated fairly quickly and our server was very nice and kind. I ended up getting the Wood Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon. All three items were cooked excellently, with everything being made just to about the way I like it, though it felt a little overcooked at some points. The drawback though was that the seasoning and flavoring of the dish was a little boring, which is normally fine to me if you are trying to bring out the flavor of the seafood itself, but for some reason I didn’t think the seafood itself tasted that great. Overall, for the price range I expected a bit better, but the food was still good.
