They aren’t the most amazing hot dogs ever, but they always hit the spot and the nostalgia of the plus makes it all worth it!

I wish I could give this place negative stars! They need to be shut down! I have gone there 3 times, and 2⁄3 times I have gotten food poisoning. The first time I didn’t think it was from eating here but now that I am sick AGAIN I know it was and will NEVER go back! I don’t know why anyone wants to eat old hot dogs and old canned chili but I won’t fall for the«cute hot dog stand» thing ever again.

I used to come here all the time when I went to Redwood. They’re cheap, fast and filling. Yes the hotdogs are small but you can get different toppings and they sell chips, soda, candy etc. On weekends I believe they are open until 12 am which is nice after a movie date. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a homemade chili dog and not weinerschnitzel then come here!

I just bought Taylor hot dogs on 1−25−16. The bread was so still and the chilli was watered down. I remember in the days it was good. The owner should live up to their parents.

What a great, old, vintage, classic hot dog stand. Don’t think this place has ever had a remodel and it must be at least 60 years old. Simple menu, quick service, great downtown location and tasty hotdogs. Not the best I’ve ever had but, good enough. This is the way all food service businesses should be run. No B.S. You pays your money, gets your food, eats it, and leave with a smile on your face. Just like in the old days. No chit chat or twenty questions about the food being ordered. Don’t like the hotdogs? Fine, go elsewhere. Nobody is forcing you to eat these. Taylor’s Hotdogs is to Visalia what Superior Ice Cream is to Hanford.

Hard to mess up a hotdog but Taylor’s has been making such wiener greatness for decades. Love this place.

Ohhhh, Taylor’s…it’s been years but it was a treat to come back. I remember when this place was a quarter per dog. That was a big deal when you were on a budget. The only thing that has changed since then is the price. Which… frankly is ok with me. The $.25 days were about 30 years ago. The flavors have not changed a bit. My wife and I got a couple«everythings»(only get an everything, anything else is a waste of your time) and sat at the benches. It was fantastic to sit and take a trip down memory lane. Thank you Taylor’s for always being there for us. As far as we’ve traveled, the more we realize how special Taylor’s is. Scoff all you want, but there’s nothing like an original, hometown, Visalian Taylor’s hotdog. Truly legendary.

Open early and late, great location in the DownTown area. A modest place that holds the hearts of many in Visalia, love it here.

Delicious chili dogs for only $ 1.60 each. The dogs are cheap but small. Toppings include chili, relish, mustard and onions. This is a must every time we go to downtown Visalia. They have great service and you get served within seconds of ordering

I used to like this place but the past weekend we went around 7÷10÷2015 around 5pm. The bun was kind of hard and I thought it was jus toasted but I’m for sure now that it jus been sitting there I had two of the hotdogs and couples hours later omg my tummy was killing me I couldn’t really sleep that night I felt sick to my stomach. Never again am I coming back !

You can’t compare this to a Tachi hot dog, but it’s alright. Old fashioned mustard only I believe? I’d probably make my own hot dogs than to go back though. FOR A BACKINTHEDAYTASTE, I would go back, but other than that I’m good.

I grew up on Taylor’s Hot Dogs, as well as all of us. It’s been amazing since day one. Anytime I come back home, I try and stop by for a few hotdogs with no onions. The only downside is the customer service. The employees seem to get more bland and more off-putting by the months. I rarely get a «hi, how are you?» Usually it’s just«what do you need?» Or a dull«hello» I guess it’s not a bit deal, since I only have to deal with that for less than a minute, but it would me the Taylor’s experience even better. Other than that, I’ll always love that place. 5 stars for the food, but 3 stars for the lacking customer service

I like it. Just a regular good ol’ dog. They are small. I usually get 2 – 3. CASHONLY!

I grew up in Visalia so I have to write a review. :) Not my fave place for chili dogs, but the chili dogs are small, easy to eat, chili is good, and customer service is fast and friendly!

Great tasting chili dogs when you’re on the go! They offer good old fashion customer service, a simple menu to choose from, and quick preparation. This is definitely a great place to hang out at on a lazy Saturday afternoon with a good group of friends of after a hot ball game.

I went there once when I first moved to Visalia, terrible. Boiled dogs and canned chili. I can make the same at home for a lot less. Never went back again!

I really don’t get people that come to this place!, if there looking for a better hot dog just go to costco and that’s like 10X better. The hotdogs are simple, nothing special at all. They only take cash, which I only had like $ 2 on me. I only got one hotdog and that was a waste of my $ 2. Seriously, I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Save your money.

While I was at work, my fiancé texted me and told me he had found a hot dog place that he really liked(we just moved to Visalia). So, the next day, he asked if I could pick some up for dinner on my way home from work. I figured, «Why not? It must be really good.» I got to the little shack, which has plenty of parking spaces, and stood in line. There’s pretty much just one item on the menu, a hot dog, but you could pick and choose what you want to put on there. You pretty much get a small, old fashioned hot dog with mustard, onions, and chili for $ 1.60. I got five for him and two for myself. One definitely isn’t enough to fill you up, and I’d say that it’s a mediocre dog. However, there isn’t anything wrong with that. If I’m around and want something quick and simple, I’ll hit up Taylor’s.

Mediocre at best. The kind of chili dog you would expect at a school fundraiser. I don’t get the appeal. Nice sign, though
