We made this our internet café when we are in Visalia. It has the best internet and atmosphere. Fresh flowers, couches and open space. Good for meetings. If they don’t have organic coffee out, I order it as a pour over. Food could be improved, but staff is really nice.

Love the uplifting music! It’s not overpowering, I can hear myself think and still enjoy the soothing music. This place has so much natural light it almost feels like you are outside in a pretty plaza. I wish we had a place like this in Fresno! The people here were welcoming from the minute I set foot in here. Love it!

Although Café 210 is in a beautiful venue with free wifi that’s pretty much all you’ll get. The food is over priced especially since the main source is a microwave to cook your food. Management seems to be everywhere with how they are running this business and it shows. All their experienced Baristas are gone, and you’re often left with someone over the counter asking how to make your drink. There’s a healthy mix of drug addicts, business men, and students that can be found at 210 along with the slew of church elders that hang out there from dusk til dawn. 210 would be an amazing Café if only it was ran as such.

This is a unique place that has a community space as well as a coffee house/café. The baked goods are all made onsite, including fudge! The prices seemed good to me, there was a lunch special(sandwich, side, drink) for $ 6.50. Free wifi. This place is run by the local Presbyterian church as a social entrepreneurship endeavor. I think it was great! Good vibe!

I had never been to Café 210 prior to this only and LAST time I would ever go there. A friend and I came in to have light breakfast after finding out our preferred breakfast place was closed. When we walked in everything had seemed about average up until we came up to order and a lone and clearly untrained woman working behind the counter began to help us. She was friendly but clearly struggling with just about everything. My friend got a drink and pastry and I got a blended caramel coffee and an egg sandwich. All of which was incredibly overpriced for it’s sub-par quality. We were the only two in the building and still waited literally an hour for food that would have taken me about 20 minutes to have just made at home. At that point I had pretty much just written off 210, as should you.

Went there for the first time a couple weeks ago since I had a groupon for it(15 for $ 30 worth of food). The food I had was tasty: avocado chicken and some sort of season fruit/nut salad. My mother who went with me didn’t have a satisfying meal, though. She had ordered some sort of pasta and it was small in size and said it tasted mediocre. Otherwise, it wasn’t a bad place. It was getting pretty busy/packed when we went, though. Seems they are a popular lunch place.

I came here again after years of having tried it before. My first experience: Basic food that was too over-priced, so I didn’t go back until recently. The only reason I stopped in is because I was with a friend on Sunday morning looking for somewhere to eat breakfast, but unfortunately Tazzaria was closed and Charcuterie wasn’t open yet. I ordered a chai tea and my friend ordered a coffee. It took them about 20 minutes to make both of our drinks, all the while the lady behind the counter kept messing up with the cash register and the drink machines, like she didn’t exactly know what she was doing. Mind you, we were the ONLY people in here and it took this long. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich(simple-bacon, egg, and cheese on bread) and my friend ordered a scone. Fast forward an HOUR and they FINALLY had the food made. So overall we spent about 2 hours there between ordering, actually getting our food, and eating. The atmosphere in there is kinda weird too, like it seems more like a break room than a café, and I think it’s connected to a church somehow.

I really like this place. Their food and drinks are great! I highly recommend their paninis and their monkey mocha. They have a big space, so your never worrying about showing up to not finding a place to sit. It’s also nice and quiet. Great for meetings as well. Definitely check this place out.

This WAS my favorite coffee house in Visalia and WAS doing great. Then somewhere along the last year something changed. The people who work there started become apathetic and the quality of both coffee and food took a nose dive. I understand this place was bought by a church prior to my discovering it but it never seemed like less of a business with minor hints at Christianity(which I don’t mind at all). Now it seems like the place has turned into the lounge room for the church. Too disappointing the last 5 times I went in that I am not going to bother to go back.

As far as a place to sit and drink coffee goes, 210 is a solid 4 stars. Good coffee, free WiFi, casual atmosphere, lots of seating. Unfortunately, boyfriend and I were stopping here for some food, and the selection was slim, kids. Very few things to choose from, and none of them really being«foodie-ish», which would be what you would expect from this place. We both ended up getting grilled cheese sandwiches with fruit(fruit being 2 slices of pineapple and a slice of honeydew melon). For about $ 8 a plate, it just wasn’t worth it. BUT, I did greatly appreciate the tiny and delicious random brownie that came with the meal. Chocolate should come with everything, no? :) Looking for a coffee shop? Stop by 210 for sure. Looking for an actual meal? Maybe look elsewhere.

A great little hidden gem in downtown Fresno. We were staying at the Marriott for a wedding, and come Sunday morning I was in dire need of some serious espresso. Thanks to my Unilocal app, I was able to walk right past Starbucks and find this independent coffeehouse. It’s inviting and friendly, and serves pretty darn good coffee. I’d give a 5th star if they had a well-trained barista and a better espresso machine… they’re kind of half-assing it on the espresso drinks. But they more than make up for it in many other areas, including their partnership with Tom’s Shoes. If I ever find myself near downtown Fresno again, I’ll be back…

Great atmosphere. They were playing classical music when I stopped in for a coffee to do some work on my laptop. The owner came by and introduced himself and was very welcoming. Got a regular coffee and self doctored it. I will definitely come back!

Definitely a fan of this spot! I’ve hosted my photo exhibit here last fall during the first annual Taste of the Arts, attended a Toms Shoe event last spring, checked out Elevate on Tuesday nights, and drop in every now and then to check out a show or to grab a drink. As you can see, it’s a great place that hosts a variety of events/groups every day. It’s spacious with several chairs and couches, and they have a separate room with a stage in it. The prices aren’t so bad. They have a fun selection of coffee drinks and tea. And they serve food like sandwiches, salads, and baked goods.

Surprised and disappointed are the words that I’d use to describe my visit to 210. After hearing person after person rave about their experience, maybe my expectation was set too high… The girl that was behind the counter seemed like she could not have cared less that I was there – like I was interrupting her Facebook time or something. I was not greeted at all, in fact the only time that she actually spoke to me at all was to give me the total for my purchase. No hello, no thank you, nothing. Not a great start… I ordered hot tea, she brought me iced tea. I was in a hurry, so I took it – even though it was less than 40-degrees outside. Additionally, the berry scone that I ordered had the texture of masonry and tasted like it was a week old. In short, I have a rule about giving places two tries before pronouncing final judgement(and never going back again). That gives a place an opportunity to have a «bad day» and still earn my business. What I’m trying to decide is if my experience the first time around was sufficiently bad enough to blow off the second visit and blacklist them. I haven’t decided, but safe to say that I won’t be rushing back in.

I am a national trainer and I go to places all over the country… 210 is one of my favorite spots so far! We are actually doing an 8 week program here one day a week in their conference facility and the café provides the lunch for our 40+ attendees each week. LJ, the manager, has gone out of his way to make sure our participants get first rate service and that our space is just perfect! The team of people working at 210 are mostly students and they are hard workers and great kids! As for the food and drink… again, some of the best I have had! For a small local café, it is a great spot! Way better than a Starbucks because it has a friendly local feel! Lots of comfy couches and chairs to chill out in and internet access so it’s great for the business person or student looking for a quiet and hip place to get away. If you are thinking about a place to do an event or just get a cup of Joe… gotta visit 210!
