I tried to go here this morning when they supposedly open at 830 but they were not there and the clerk at the gas station said they arrive between 830 and 9am, how can you run a business like that. I even called a few days before and left a message so I could make an appointment but I never got a call back and whenever I called a live person never answered the phone. Never going here again.

I read the good reviews on this site and took my truck here to be smogged. They list their time to open as 8:30, so that’s when I got there. I was met at the door by a large, surly technician who told me he had to «calibrate his machines», so he wouldn’t be able to do a smog test for «½ hour or 45 minutes». I told him he might want to change his hours of service to reflect that, and he just said «oh well» and turned away. Wow.
I dont know if the «nice» guy mentioned in the other reviews quit, or if this dude was just having a bad day, but he was impolite and unapologetic. So my experience was negative, and I’m not doing business with these guys.
I ended up going to «Blue sky» in Vista, and they were awesome.

It was my first time having to smog a vehicle as I’m doing a favor for my dad. I came here because it was close to my house. The two guys who worked here greeted me with smiles as soon as I stepped out of my vehicle. They made the process very smooth, quick and painless. Enjoyed the conversation too! Thanks guys!

Found a coupon for Vista Way Smog online, and decided to check them out. This place is apparently under new mgmt, and the new owner Milan is doing a great job! I was in an out in about 45 (w/​o an appt), and paid only $ 40. The owner speaks Spanish (a plus for the area), English, and some other language — I was impressed bc its a great business asset! He was super friendly and speedy. I’d definitely recommend Vista Way Smog to anyone who also needs a quick smog for their registration needs!
