When I am going out to buy beer or wine for a party or as a gift I think of Trainos first. Trainos has a great staff, always willing to talk about the product. Trainos has a great selection of microbrews and runs specials daily on all kinds of products. But the real reason I will go out of my way to stop in at Trainos is because it hasn’t lost its local feel. The people who work there are always willing to put in special orders for me or find product I am looking for.

Planning a wedding from three hundred miles away is a challenge, but Traino’s made ordering the beer and wine for our reception as painless as humanly possible. After being disappointed by Canal Liquors’ unfriendly staff and inflexible policies, we gave Traino’s a call and were greeted with a friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating staff. Specifically, Jenn here helped us put together the perfect amount of beer and wine for the size of our event. She also helped us figure out exactly what kind of wines to get given the time of year and what kind of food we were having. They even delivered the beer and wine that day to our wedding venue for no extra charge, since it was so close to their store. And she said that if we didn’t use everything we bought, she’d work with us to see if any of it could be bought back by the store. Overall the expertise and the friendly policies here made us glad we decided to take a second look for a decent alcohol vendor.

Wonderful surprise. I got a flyer in the papers that come in the mail. So, I was going to the dentist and thought I would go home past this store. I never paid much attention because«Canal s» was always the super liquor store. I love German Rieslings. They are not easy to find in abundance. I actually went in for a German beer. They did not have the particular beer I wanted in the Evesham store but the young lady that helped me said she would call the other store to see if they had it. Lo and behold they did and she said it would be there this afternoon. Only 26.00 per case too. Not a bad price. I then wandered around and asked her if they had German Rieslings. So many were available. Higher quality too. They had Blue Nun of course(LOL) which I think is the first wine everyone starts with. But, the selection was huge. The store had it all over the Canal s on Route 70 in Marlton and for sure over the Berlin store. The Berlin store is dark and feels dirty. The Marlton store the same way. Both need more lighting. Natural light would really help. Tuesday you get 10 per cent on your wine purchase. 5 percent everyday for senior citizens. I ask for senior discounts wherever I go now. Just fun to go in and look around.
