TERRIBLE!!! We waited for our food for 35 minutes. $ 50 order that isn’t worth it. Awful service with Unfriendly employees. Slowest service ever!!! Won’t ever come back!

Really really really good subs. I had the Hero, but my all time favorite is the Smokehouse beef & cheddar with all the fixings I have had a few times now, I really should try something else but when you find something you like it’s hard to switch up. I like the sauces they have at the end of the counter I usually use them as a dipping sauce for my chips. They also have a good drink selection to choose from. You can not go wrong at this place

Great sandwich and friendly staff. I went there with my daughter and had a nice lunch. I got a New York Steamer and it was delicious and pilled high with meat. The place was clean and so were the bathrooms. I will definitely be back.

The best subs I’ve ever eat, will I go back, no. not during the day and not on the week day. That’s when the young gentleman that wears his pants down below his butt works. I went there today at lunch. There he was with his pants down showing his butt. He pulls them up because he can’t walk with them down. then with the same hands delivers the food. no thanks. I will only go if I check to see if this fellow is there or not. I don’t want my sub delivered with hands that just pulled your pants up

Sandwiches are really great, and I love that this business was started by firemen. The staff is usually some-what friendly and I feel they are overpriced which I why I’ve only been here twice. A medium sandwich a loan with no chips and no drink is $ 6.81. You can get an entire meal at other places for that amount. Drive thru is painfully slow.

Only been to a Firehouse Subs once before in Houston and loved it (got their classic Meatball Marinara) so I was pretty excited when I heard Waco was going to be getting one.
STAFF
The staff here was really friendly. Soon as I walked in they gave me a «Welcome to Firehouse!» which was pretty cool haha.
FOOD
One thing I like about this chain is that the food is pretty consistent. They obviously hire really talented managers because the subs at this Waco Firehouse taste just as good as the one I had in Houston, which is wayyy better than your typical go-to sub places (looking at you Subway). I got the Hook and Ladder sub on wheat, and it was great. Everything tasted really fresh.
CLOSING THOUGHTS
Firehouse Subs has entered the Waco Semi-fast food industry by kicking the door off its hinges. Can’t wait to come back and try out the other subs. I give it a ⁵⁄₅

Good menu options.
I and a friend ate here almost every day for their first week and had «stomach issues» until we stopped eating here. We haven’t been back since.
Some employees are very unprofessional, as well.
Hope they get it together, because I do like their menu.
