We live nearby and go here about twice per week. Good food, good beer selection, mixed drinks are also pretty great. Their French fries, grapefruit margarita(the salty dog) and Bloody Mary are my favorites. The guys and girls in the kitchen and bar are always personable and service is always great. We feel very fortunate to have such a quality neighborhood bar.

Stopped thru here several times during my stay in Waco. Its a good place to watch sports. Nice line up of TVs similar to buffalo wild wings. Now the service drinks n food. Well. It’s OK. Depends who is behind the bar and you re usually going to be looking for them. They have a bell that rings for staff to know food is up and whoever is nearby will pick up the food. But if you need silverware or condiments you better hurry and catch them because they are gone in a flash. And then your stuck looking for your server or bartender for a while. Food is served in dog bowls. Not sure if that’s cute or not. Beer selection is average for Waco and they frequently run out of craft beer. I mean like at least once per week. Food is OK for bar food. Nothing to go out of the way for. Staff is usually friendly despite being scarce for a time. Happy hour is decent with $ 4 drink specials but no food specials during happy hour. There’s not a lot of bars open on this side of Waco so if you don’t want to do downtown, go check it out

If this bar were in any other city, it’d be a great dive bar/sports bar. However, because it is in Waco and on the side of town that DESPERATELY needs fun restaurants and bars, it is a trendy place for locals. Do not go there and expect to not run into anyone you know. We had a party of 6 for drinks and appetizers before we went to The Price is Rignt(yes that’s right — it was in Waco). Service from the bar for drinks was decent but service at the table for food and drinks was extremely slow. The chicken quesadillas was WAY too greasy. However, the Bob Marley dip is a must have! I’ll come back for drinks when I’m in town but this is not somewhere I’d consistently go to eat.

Been here twice for the burgers. The bacon, egg and cheese burger is ridiculously good. The atmosphere is casual, mostly 30-somethings. The bloody Mary cocktail was fabulous and almost served as an appetizer all by itself. Burger: ½ # of beef with a generous portion of thick-cut bacon, cheese, 2 fried eggs, and held together with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches for bread. Crazy friggin’ huge!

Lots and lots and lots of fried food. The starters were all pretty good. The meals, less so. I think out of 6 of us only 1 or 2 actually enjoyed their main course. We all enjoyed the wings, alligator, etc though. Waitress was very friendly.

Motorcyclist/bikers/riders not welcome here. Take your money somewhere else.

No bikers or motorcycles. I spend my money where they want it. I work hard. Never been to jail. But I do ride a Harley
