This is a very good bbque place. It’s extremely small inside. They have tables set up outside too. We went with six people. The ribs were amazing. The burnt ends were delicious. The triple bypass was awesome. Grilled cheese so so good. Burgers good also. Their white bread is thick and cooked perfect. Fries, onion rings, Mac n cheese also very good. But the real star is the bacon. Thick and smokey and oh so good. Cooked to perfection. All sandwiches etc came with their scrumptious bacon. Prices were good. This is a real good bbque place to eat lunch or dinner. I will go back.

On this outing I picked up some more of their smoked and BBQ dressed wings, Bacon Bites for the son and a pound of their slab bacon. I remain impressed over the smoked wings, really good stuff here. Next time I’ll try them undressed cause I think they could be good neked. My son thought the bacon bites were really good, I can’t offer an opinion because by the time I turned to get a small sample from him they were all gone. The only thing left was a faint bacony smell that hung in the air. ********* Warning******* If you are satisfied with your grocers offering of Oscar Meyer and Plumrose bacon, you might want to steer clear of what NFB has to offer. The fact that it demand a 60% premium over what’s in the cold case will surely keep many away. But if you dare to spring for $ 11 per pound you can get some hearty bacon that is clearly dry cured and smoked. The cook up nice and brown and super crispy. I have them slice thicker, maybe a tad below 1⁄8th of an inch, and they stayed evenly brown during cooking without scalding. I would also say there was about 50% less grease after cooking than store bought brands. I can’t say for certain but I betting in the end we got at least 15−20% more bacon out of a pound than we get from the mass market offers. So if you have a special event coming up, or an event that can be made more special with bacon, and what event couldn’t be, run on up to NFB and get a pound!!! You won’t be sad…

The brunt ends were juicy, the pulled pork was moist and both full of flavor. The two BBQ sauces were tangy and delicious. This is a place I’ll go far out of my way for.

Burnt ends were beyond tender. I added a little of the house BBQ sauce and it was really nice. Fried pickles were great, but seriously fried pickles should always be great. The only dissapointment was the Coleslaw. It may have been just me but it was not good at all. None of my companions ate Coleslaw so I couldn’t find out if it was just me.

So here is what I got: Fried Pickles: No. Just no. Don’t even bother Ribs: Good, but they were really dry, so loses points for that Sandwich: I don’t remember what it was called but it was: pulled pork, brisket, bacon, mac and cheese and an onion ring. The heart attack maybe? Anyhow, it was good but the meats in my opinion were over salted. They also don’t have a «hot» bbq sauce. I was hoping for a 5 star food experience, instead I am giving a generous 3. And good god, get rid of the flies. Flies are worse than roaches!

No stars if that were permitted. Will never eat here. Owner of this establishment has insulted the community members who. live locally on more than one occasion in a publicly posted forum, several times over the past several months. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

This is more of a 2.5, I felt very ehh after coming here. I searched all over and read all these reviews and left here so disappointed. I walked in smelt the smoke and said ohhhhh jackpot. I was standing there reading the sign to figure out what to get, and evidently wasn’t choosing fast enough for the guy behind the counter. Meanwhile there wasn’t anyone behind me. Yes I’m new give me a sec so I can read. I know I know I’m a firm believer in be prepared when you order something, but there was no one there is was empty. On to the food, more ehh. Beautiful bark and ring but not much flavor. I had to kill the pulled pork with bbq sauce to get some flavor out of it. Also no coleslaw on a pulled pork sandwich is just odd, that might just be me though that expects that. I’m a firm believer when you eat at a BBQ place you should leave there stuffed and feeling so dirty about all the yummy goodness you just devoured. Not here, we left and went to another winery for cheese and crackers to hold us over. **No beer or alcohol, only sodas** Little pricey as well. 2 sandwiches with fries, a mac and cheese(not great either) and 2 drinks was $ 38. I was so excited to try this place, sadly dissapointed and still hungry.

Got the pulled pork sandwiches, sweet potato fries, and the bacon bites Everything was very good and we will be coming here again. It is a bit on the pricey side but worth it to get some good barbecue up north. Especially coming from TX

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Been there 2 times and both times they were out of ribs!!! Out of ribs? Aren’t they a rib joint. NEVERGOINGBACK. Don’t waste your time.

I’d like to start out by saying that this guy is a wizard. He can take perfectly good ingredients and turn them to a pile of inedible excrement. An alchemist really. Where to start… Who cares that the place is small and seats like 3 ½ people. Most good bbq places are like that. This however is not a good bbq place. It’s not a good anything place. The girl behind the counter was beyond rude and nasty. She alone should make you want to flee the place like the French Army from the German lines. Don’t expect to have any of your menu questions answered. I don’t think they can identify what they serve. On to what they are attempting to pass off as food. Or as they claim on their website, «competition level bbq.» Let’s just say that if this burnt up, dried out, husk of a former animal was ever entered into any type of competition, the only mention they would get is a certificate forbidding them from ever entering again. And the sides, how do you screwup coleslaw or potato salad? I don’t know. Ask them. They seem to be geniuses at making even the most benign menu item an epic culinary disaster. The ribs were so overcooked that they appeared to be just bones. They were dry, tough, and still had the membrane attached. Plus the portions were way off. The whole rack was the size of a half rack, and the half rack was the size of a quarter rack. For the prices they charge, they should be ashamed, but then again they should be ashamed of themselves in general. The chicken was so dry it was like eating sawdust. I swear I have served better chicken to my cat out of a can. The only way you could choke down this chicken was by smothering it in bbq sauce, which tasted like it came out of an industrial size bottle from Costco. The only semi-redeeming part of this meal were the bacon bites, but even those became cloyingly sweet after a few mouthfuls. It cost $ 100 for a lunch for for people. I don’t mind paying for good food, but when you end up throwing over ¾ of it away because it is virtually inedible, that is an absolute disgrace. So do yourself a favor and make a different bad decision today. You’re better of going to the Golden Arches to get a McRib sandwich. That’s not even meat but at least you can chew it.

In a return trip to NFB&S we added to the list of things you have to try. The Heart Attack Sandwich is a MONSTER! Smoked brisket, pulled pork, mac & cheese and two onion rings on one sandwich??? Get the stretcher cause you will have to be wheeled away after this giant. And by the way, they listened and tightened up the french fries. Less greasy, far crispier, and just a lot better. And an order of the Burnt Ends is an absolute necessity even if you order the sandwich then take the Burnt Ends home for later. We will keep going back. And back. And back…

The food was excellent. We got the bacon bites which were great. I have never had bacon like that, and the sauce 9n it was perfect, nice and tangy with just the right amount of heat. The beef brisket an baby back ribs were smoked perfectly, they were both moist with a nice smoke ring. It was nice they were served without any sauce so I could add what I wanted. The portion size was perfect for the price. I look forward to going back to try the rest of the menu.

I was not impressed. Small servings if average BBQ and very pricey. Had the pulled pork. Was decent but very fatty. Mac n cheese was decent as well. Husband had the heart attack which was basically every meat on a sandwich. He liked it. Just $ 25 for a small serving of pork, a side and a sandwich seemed outrageous too me.

Sky rockets in flight! I’ve been waiting for this place all my life while living in Long Island. Do you know what its like to go to Brooklyn for BBQ? And no, I’m not talking ribs at the local Chili’s, this is meat that’s been prepped and smoked all night, just for me. It’s July 4th and I want BBQ baby! (And driving to Brooklyn on a holiday weekend when I have this place a few miles away just seems so wrong) So I load up the family as well as inlaws and we head out to NF Bacon & Smokehouse. We ordered: Rack of ribs Brisket Pulled Pork Fried pickles Mac&cheese topped with bacon And BEANS! OMG, the beans were off the chain. My son said the Mac&Cheese wasn’t up to 5 star standards but nevertheless it was worth to mention. All of the meats are fresh and cooked to perfection. The ribs were big and meaty, the brisket was juicy and cut thick. Everything about this place is a home run hit. Just a note, this place is closed Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday. Its also very very small, we were lucky to get the large table. Enjoy!

Came here last week after a nice day out east. We wanted to try everything. Settled for Baby back Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, wings and fried pickles. I guess that was almost everything. I enjoyed most of what we had. Though the pork could have used a bit more of the vinegar sauce. Next time I’ll ask for extra on the side. I wasn’t a big fan of the wings, but that’s my own fault. As I tend to like very well done wings which seems to be difficult to order in most places. The fried pickles were delicious, reminded me of the style I’d get down in New Orleans. The brisket was awesome. Made me wish we tried their pulled brisket chili special. Hopefully that’s available the next time we pop in. I do think they have a few kinks to work out. They did just open so will give it another run in a few weeks to see how things progress. Overall 3.5 stars. for now. I expect they will climb higher.
