Definitely DO NOT recommend
I have been here many times, but lately the service and quality has gone WAY downhill. On one occasion, I went and had my nails done there with the gel polish, and the girl seemed to be in a rush to get my nails done so they could go home early. And it reflected in her work, which was sloppy at best.
Then today I just got my eyebrows waxed there (which I also have tattooed on under the hair). I told her leave them thick. She basically took most of them off. She waxed it thinner than the tattoo. She tried to say cause the tattoos weren’t even cause she couldn’t see one on the other side, and that she just cleaned up my eyebrows. No. The tattoos are even (they’re on my face… believe me). The girl was rude and wouldn’t thank me after I thanked her (maybe cause I didn’t leave her a tip).

Amazing the guy who did my pedi payed close attention to every detail, I don’t think I’ve ever had someone do as amazing as he did. I will be coming back

One word… ROSE! Hands down, she is the BEST Nail Tech on this Island (Possibly the whole state)! With Rose, it’s not just a Manicure or Pedicure. Rose makes sure to give extra attention to your cuticles and nail beds so that your nails grow healthy and strong. She is the ONLY person that I want touching my hands and feet and my mother (who lives in Georgia) schedules a day of her visits to the island specifically to come see Rose while she is here on vacation.
P. S. I’ve seen her designs and although I’ve never had her give me one, I can assure you that they are FLAWLESS!
I do recommend that you make an appointment and show up ON TIME or else you may have to wait.

Made an appointment with Rose because of all the great reviews and she is awesome. Got gel nails, pedi and eyebrows before my wedding vow renewal and she did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend her she takes her time and does an amazing job. :)

I’ve been searching for a quality nail salon that can execute great nail designs. I find a lot of ideas online and on instagram and so far they’ve been able to replicate them flawlessly. Great service and very friendly. A little pricey but worth it.

I needed a pedicure in a pinch. Average. Took me right away though, no appointment needed.
I got the gel on my toes because that lasts forev, but the paint job was a little sloppy. I guess the best part of the pedicure is that it wasn’t some quick and dirty snip, paint, and out the door kind of thing. The man was the one who did it. He was a little clueless on how to ring me up also. Awkward because the other gal kept having to stop working to help him out. Oh well. I guess if you’re in need of something quick in the Wahiawa area, it does the job.

I was content with my nail place before my friend showed me her nails. THE ONLY person I go to is ROSE. She is AMAZING!!! Her designs are always original and fresh. She takes her time regardless of the service you are getting. She pays attention to detail. When I did a figure competition she waxed 100% of my body and did and outstanding job. She knows exactly what she is doing. Very friendly to all her customers. I will recommend to anyone.

I’ve had my acrylics filled a few times in the past and they were ok but I wasn’t impressed except for the prices. This review is for the pedicure I got last month. The WORST pedicure ever. I don’t know the guy’s name and he never introduced himself. He cut my nails soooo short and cut into the soft tissue around my big toe… that became infected. Sloppy paint job that I took it off and repainted the next day.

No no no no. I came in as a walk in when there was no one here. My friend comes all the time so I thought I would be in love with this place like she is, but this please was a miss. Flies and other flying bugs everywhere and service was sooooo slow. I only got my nails painted and they barely lasted a week. The only decent thing here is there prices. Very cheep. Sadly, I will not be returning.

I’ve been going to Nail Max for the last 5 years. It’s impossible not to like this place. The service is excellent and the work is amazing. They have the most talented ladies in there and Ty does an amazing job on my feet! If you are not happy than you won’t be happy anywhere. I get compliments on my nails and toes everyday and the prices are GREAT! Tina and Rose treat everyone like family and that’s why I love going there, That’s what it’s about, Going to Nail Max and feeling comfortable and getting great service and feeling like family! I love this place!!! Ever since getting to the Island, I have used them. Never will I go anywhere else. I only allow Rose to do my nails here tho. There is another girl that works there, but I think Rose does a better job. My nails stay on forever, with no lifting or cracking. When I get my nails done other places, they lift at the base and fall off. Leaving me with missing nails. That is def not the case with the nails here… I couldn’t get them off to save my life. I had to go back and have them soaked. Usually I could just pry them off. Not these nails. Usually I just get French painting, but Rose does amazing designs!!! She will do whatever you ask, even if you want her to use 1000 different colors, she will. She’s awesome, and one more thing. If you call her ahead of time and see when she has available. And you are there on time… She will be available when she said she would. If you make an appt at 12 and you show up at 12:10. Yes she will have a customer. Be there on time and you will have no wait. Yes the parking is no fun, but I can guarantee you that if she does your nails once, you won’t go anywhere else.

Had to wait for almost an hour even though I had an appointment. Only wanted a pedicure, only saw the instruments being rinsed in water. Used razor on my feet without asking or changing blade. Seemed more like a social group than a business. I will not be returning.

I really like this place. The quality of the nails are pretty good and they are very inexpensive. Parking isn’t great and do not park in the jack in the box parking lot even it never full, jack in the box will tow ur car if you do. The staff is pretty layed back but know what they are doing. This is my go to nail place.

My fiancé and I each got a spa pedi at Max’s Nails (a.k.a Nails Max) today and it was wonderful! We were able to call at 6pm and get a 630pm apt that same day and they have roller chairs to sit in for the treatment. The service was 45mins and included lots of foot pampering and nail service. We both had our toes painted with added design. $ 60 total for 2 pedi’s with design. Not bad! The employees were wonderful and professional. The place looks run-​down from the outside, but the service is well worth the lack of aesthetics!
