Went Friday night before sunset. Service was amazing, quick and the food was good as well. Perfect sunset view and then an amazing musical band started at 7pm with music we really enjoyed. Had company from the mainland and it was their first night and they were blown away. Wasn’t crowded. Had fish and chips, hamburger and pulled pork sandwich with garlic fries. Garlic fries really had garlic. Yummmm. We will be back. Music on Friday and Saturday evenings.

What a horrible experience I can not believe I actually had to pay for it. I worked in Food & Beverage for 15 years, working in every position to becoming GM. We waited for about 15 mins before someone was willing to get off there phone to give us menus. Then waited quite some time for a poorly made MaiTai and luke warm beer(bud light) I ordered the pupu platter and N. Y Steak. My wife ordered the burger with garlic fries. The fries were cold for both the pupu platter and garlic fries which you could tell was just butter. The breading for the Garlic chicken was still doughy. My N. Y Steak was decent but the platter that it came on had black char all over it, I take it washing dishes is not something they do. The décor was very tacky and had no up keep to it at all. All the tables where obviously packed in there for more profit but sacrificing service. We made friends with some regulars who told us awful things about the«Owner» and there So called manger Miia. Who fired people who she didn’t like to hire family members .To get rid of hard working energetic people because they did not up keep her opinions. And then to hear that she the manger was barley there was not surprising to say the least. My wife was constantly being hit on by extremely drunk men, My wife a Marine handled it great. But it seemed the bartender didn’t mind over pouring and continually serving these patroons for a quick tip. I then saw a minor order and drink a alcohol beverage. I knew he was under age my how he looked, dressed, and how he bragged to his friends to show how easy it was. If you are looking to be a guest at this establishment. DONOT have and standards and enjoy the breath taking view.

I’ve been staying at the rest camp here for years and the club was always good, but went there yesterday and they only had one waiter, who was also bartender and busboy. His name is Ian and there had to be about 30 people he had to wait on. They have no help, they were out of many things, including coffee, because the coffee maker wasn’t working and I felt bad for Ian the waiter because everything we asked for they were out of. I don’t know who manages this place now but if they can’t manage it right they should just shut it down. It’s really making a bad name for Waianae Army Rest Camp. Like I said, I’m from Boston and have been coming here since 1982 and never seen it this bad. Don’t even bother coming here
