Great food, local flavor with modern twist. We had the kimchi fries, and they were great! They had gluten free buns and or bread for all the burgers and sandwiches. Do yourself a favor… get the house made pudding. We had vanilla with bananas. Yum!!!

I’ve been here two times in the last week that I’ve been home in Maui. I’ve ordered take-out both times and the both times that I’ve called, the workers have been so friendly! The first time that I went to 808 on Main, I ordered the chicken pesto panini with fries and shared a Cobb salad. I got the classic burger during my second visit. Everything is full of flavor and delicious. I have no complaints about this place. If you haven’t gone to 808 on Main yet, it’s definitely a place that you’re going to fall in love with.

I arrived around 12:45p & seated pretty quick hostess said someone would be right with me. 5 – 10 mins later, still no service kinda disappointing. Later the same nice girl came and asked if I’ve been helped yet. I placed my order with her. Food arrived super fast, the food was amazing! No one ever offered to refill my water nor asked if everything was o.k. with my food. I had to ask for a take out container & my check. So I rate the food a 5 service a 2. I would go back & hope service improves.

Do not miss the chance to eat here! 808 on Main is amazing! It’s easy to find and there’s tons of parking in the rear. We arrived 40 minutes before closing and asked if it was too late. They said not at all and welcomed us in. The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff is friendly. We were waiting to hop on a plane back to the mainland so this was the perfect place to kill some time. We had the turkey sandwich with coleslaw and the Porkie panini with house chips and house dip. It was… AMAZING! The Porkie also came with a chili sauce that was out of this world. When I took a bite, my eyes bugged out from pure unexpected deliciousness. So good! The staff was very attentive and nice. We chatted with them about how they came to be on the island and what we enjoyed about our trip. What’s more, they seemed genuinely interested! Don’t pass this place up, it’s incredible. My favorite place to eat on Maui.

First time eating here, the food and service is amazing. My girl and I shared a spicy bacon chicken panini with house salad. The sandwich was very good but the homemade ranch dressing with the sandwich is Amazeballs. We will definitely come back here when ever we visit the island.

Nice new concept that appeals to a business crowd. The place was packed for lunch and the service was attentive a fast. Presentation of plates were great and the food was well seasoned and creative. Good portion size and reasonable. They have a good selection of beers and cocktails. Looking forward to trying more dishes after work.

Food was flavorful and delicious. Highly recommended ordering the Mediterranean nachos and Kula strawberry salad. So tasty! The Main St Mules were great, and so refreshing!

Came here for lunch today with my boyfriend, his son and my little brother. I was a little hesitant because, my little brother is autistic and bringing him places is hard. But the waitress tamika was outstanding. Food was equally amazing as her service. Food was amazing great sandwiches.

Stopping at 808 On Main after Iao Valley State Monument was a spur of the moment, «we’re hungry, we need food, and OOO look at that cute restaurant with the red storefront!”-type decisions that I’m sure everyone has experienced at one point or another. Parking: We found a parallel-parking spot right out front, so I’m not sure where you’d park if it was super busy. Seems like there’s a lot of street parking up and down Main Street. Ambiance: 808 On Main is calmly cool because it doesn’t try too hard to look cute. Little details make all the difference: I love the string lights that zig-zag above the rustic wood dining tables. The pastel carnations at the tables provided a nice pop of color, and I appreciated the placemats because so few casual restaurants put in the extra effort in their table settings. If you look closely, you’ll see the simplistic bar setup in the kitchen with bottles on a plain white shelf. Love it. Service: Excellent. Our waitress was super friendly and came around to check on us regularly. The manager(I think that was him) also came by and asked us how the meal was. My friend and I were visiting from Oahu, and the waitress was nice enough to recommend stuff for us to do. Food: There was a special brunch menu, but most of the items are on the regular menu. My friend had the chicken pesto pasta with garlic bread. The sauce was light and, thankfully, not overly salted, and I liked that the chicken was sliced into small strips. I had the mahi mahi burger, which came with cole slaw and a side salad of spring mix, sprouts and balsamic vinaigrette. The mahi had a nice herb coating and the bun it came on was toasted and crunchy on the outside. The cocktail menu was exceptionally inventive, too. My friend had a Bloody Mary, and I ordered a drink that had mango purée and some kind of wine. For dessert, we shared a strawberry mango fresh fruit pie a la mode, which might just be the best pie I’ve ever had in my life. Not only was there a lot of fruit, the crumble on top was perfection. Overall, I would highly recommend 808 On Main. It seems like a lot of care went into the restaurant, and I hope it sticks around because I will definitely back next time I go to Maui!

Yes, we were those donkeys that showed up 10 min before closing. We felt horrible, but I’m only on Maui for a day and my friends and I really wanted to try this spot out. They greeted us extremely friendly and told us no worries. With other people still eating we took our seats. The waitress was incredibly nice and helpful. The service here is so friendly and quick that that alone is what makes you want to come back. We had the Mediterranean nachos as an appetizer. I had the Kula salad and then we all shared the smores dessert. The nachos were so delicious tasted close to a gyro. The Kula salad was refreshing filled with strawberries hearty chicken. The smores we chose to mix peanut butter and chocolate and it’s a perfect treat to share with your friends. Def try this place out when you have the chance!

I heard about this place from a coworker and I just had to try it out especially since im a fan kf 808 Deli in Kihei. My parents and I went for happy hour a couple days ago and there was ample parking in back of the restaurant and it wasn’t too busy when we arrived. We ordered some of their happy hour specials(see photos) and as we enjoyed our meal the restaurant quickly began to fill up with locals and it was a nice lively atmosphere. The food was great and we even ordered some blueberry pie from the Maui Pie Company that was delicious! The prices weren’t too bad, the staff was friendly and I would definitely return for happy hour or dinner.

Very nice place. Good food and everyone genuinely seemed to care if the food was to our liking as well as if we enjoyed the dining experience. I had the pork Panini and it was very good. The pick was tender and hot. One in the party has eaten at the sister location and loves the salad dressing. This place is on my return list.

I had such a craving for a tuna fish sandwich on multi-grain bread with avocado, and sprouts, and this place manifested it perfectly! Accompanied by a rather large side of coleslaw, I ate every bite. The menu predominately serves sandwiches, paninis, and salads. Looking around, the salad portions were large, and the restaurant was very busy. This seems like the place to go for a sandwich. Outside of Subway, Mauis options are limited in this regard.

The former Bistro On Main is now 808 On Main, the same owners as 808 Bistro &808 Deli located in Kihei. ATMOSPHERE: Not much has changed, sans for maybe new furniture? Even then I’m not 100% positive. The space is an old building with high ceilings, no a/c, and awning-style windows. A small room at the front can be used for private dining, and features high tops and counter seating that looks out to the sidewalk & street. Oddly, there is no bar, yet they have an extensive bar menu. The rest of the space is filled with regular tables. Restrooms are located in the building next door, accessible with a communal key. FOOD: Kimchi Hummus — It sounds odd, but was really tasty! I guess it’s traditional hummus, but they mix in kimchi, which turns the dip orange, and lifts the ho-hum hummus to a whole other level in the flavor department. Spice rating is a 1 on a 5 scale, very mild. Toasted and chewy pita triangles are used for dipping. Highly recommended. Spicy Chicken Wings — Unfortunately they were all drumette pieces, no wingettes. Boo! Spice level is a 3 on a 5 scale, and overall was a bit dry. Classic Cheeseburger — This was my spouse’s dish. The single bite I had was so disappointing, as the thick-formed patty was chewy and mushy because it was underdone, and didn’t have much flavor. The fries were warm and crispy, though I’ve had better. Where are the pickles? Chicken Pesto Primavera — My dish! The pasta fanatic in me will always order this first over everything else on the menu, and what a great choice it was. The spaghetti was done in a creamy pesto sauce that had tons of flavor and depth, along with yellow peppers, pine nuts, tender strips of chicken, fresh basil, fresh parmesan cheese, and 3 tasty slices of garlic bread. Highly recommended for the pasta and pesto fan! SERVICE: Our female server was friendly, professional, and checked on us often. TIP: They charge a $ 2 substitution fee to add fries to the sandwiches and paninis in place of chips and coleslaw. OVERALL: Good food & service, fair portions.

So glad we stopped by! My sister and I love restaurant hopping, and we’ve heard of this new place from friends. Not sure if they’re still vendors during first and fourth fridays since they opened the restaurant, but the lines were always super long and busy. Anywho, I ordered a salmon burger, which was delish! Not sure what was in the patty, but it was a blend of salmon and veggies with herbs. That was a little different. My sister ordered pork kimchi meatballs on a stick and barbeque french fries! We finished with smores in a cast iron skillet, I could hear the next table oggling it. lol The service was awesome! The waitress was sweet. No bathroom though, there is one in the next building you would have to ask the keys for.

Lunch Good service and received sandwich/fries within 10 minutes of ordering. The Shiitake Beef Melt $ 14 was ok however not great or special. It comes with chips & dip, or coleslaw, pasta salad or house salad. I chose French fries instead which is an option for an additional $ 2. extra. The fries were cold and that’s the way they came out of the kitchen as my server picked up meal within 15 seconds of it being ready…$ 16. total with cold fries. Very disappointing. Also disappointing was that the only beer on tap was the non local Stella. Not their fault however to use the restrooms one has to get one of keys hanging up and then walk outside and into a different building.

Slow down, dis ain’t da mainland! Hawaiian time is aptly named due to our laid back and relaxed culture and 808 on main’s atmosphere definitely boots this. (*Parking is either street or they mentioned covered parking at the plaza.) The bf and I arrived for lunch around 12:30; the restaurant was busy but we were told to sit at a table fairly quickly. The restaurant has an a/c unit not in use(not enough for this sized room anyway) but it’s open aired. Thank god it was cool in Wailuku because the few ceiling fans don’t do much. They make good use of the space; tables are close together and they could probably seat 20 parties of varying sizes, along with some bar seating. We were greeted by a man who brought us utensils, followed by a woman who filled our waters, then finally another man who was our waiter. This all took about 10 minutes total. We took our order: I got the shiitake beef melt with a house salad and walnut vinaigrette(interesting!) and the bf got a bbq burger with fries. (The menu has burgers, panini a, sandwiches, soups and salads and starters. Some standard fair like Cesar salad and others more interesting like Kim chee Reuben.) So we wait for our food. And waited. A girl came to refill our water once but It’s been 20 minutes(I counted, I’m one of those lol) without no acknowledgment of the status of our food. We felt like we did something wrong; Did they hate us? We finally got our food. They forgot bbq sauce for my bf burger(though they did ask if he wanted condiments) and his fries were cold(though his burger was steaming hot, so I digress.) My melt was nothing special; It was pretty average. I did like the walnut vinaigrette(a tad too sweet though) and the greens with the house salad was a nice mix of frisée and fancy lettuces. Plus 1! Half way into our food we noticed that the couple who was just seated next to us and behind us got their food really quick. Maybe they did hate us… In conclusion, a place in the heart of a business district, you’d assume turnaround to be quick – even on Hawaiian time – but that, with parking woes, price and inconsistent non-engaging service, I’ll give this place another chance before I strike them out. After all, dis ain’t da mainland.

Nice place that one could call a «hole in the wall.» Nice, not noisy, so good for families. The Club Sandwich and Clam Chowder was good… the chowder was«chunky» with good stuff and the sandwich was great, mostly meat. The Mushroom Swiss Burger is something my wife liked and the restaurant surprised us with the Smores Dessert. A nice, «cute» concept of chocolate topped with marshmallows and baked to a nice«gooeyness» for dipping with Graham crackers. Reasonable and a great value.

I’m not a sandwich-panini typa gal, but I would definitely comeback to this deli for more! The staff is so friendly. From the first welcome and come back again soon! Open air, high– ceilings and a featured wooden wall where the food comes out, you«sit where you feel comfortable» The food was pretty good. I got the spicy ranch. YUM and spicy. And the spicy tuna melt, which was unfortunately just an okay for me. You can choose your sides of either slaw, chips and dip, house salad or $ 2 more for fries or the soup of the day. The salad was fresh and came with a vinaigrette. Very generous in serving wife. The chips were kind of stale for me. Not fresh. My friends enjoyed their red roaster which comes with a spicy sriracha type sauce which is amazing. The Arnold Palmer was such a steal for just a little over $ 2! The part owner Jonathan even came by. Sweet and such a great spot! Definitely would recommender for a casual lunch in the beautiful old Wailuku town!
