I eat here for lunch so often I couldn’t count how many times. I just keep going back because I am never disappointed with the food or service. Super nice people there. The lemon citrus aioli(sp?) belongs on everything.

Very fresh and very good. Staff: Very friendly and nice. Timeliness: Very quick. They even had to make a fresh snatch of hummus and that came out quick Price: Not cheap but not extravagantly expensive. Food: The taste was very good and fresh. The portions where not big but adequate. Portobello burger: I wish it had meat. I am a huge meat in every meal fan despite the lack of it was delicious. Had bacon though! If you like portobello this is a must! Pestjo chicken sandwich: The pesto was amazing had a lot of flavor. Hummus and pita chips Last but not least the hummus was made fresh for us since they where our. It was very good. A little too much garlic for my fiancé but I love the garlicky taste If I lived in Maui I would definitely be coming back. Must try kind of place.

I have heard about this place for months and decided to go today. Here is a useful tip: CALLAHEAD! The line to the walk-up counter can be long at lunchtime, and understandably so… This place is good! We started with the black bean quinoa lettuce wraps. Delicious and filling. My green chili ground beef burrito was also delicious. I love a green chili. This one wasn’t too spicy and I could have handled a bit more spice. This was a big plate of food and I couldn’t finish it! For dinner I’m having the TBA with a pasta salad.(Turkey, Bacon, Avocado) it looks great and the bread is so soft and moist. I love the ginger iced tea. Excellent! Try menu is extensive and I look forward to trying more dishes.

I was excited to find this place for lunch, especially after reading the reviews. There were five people ahead of me on a line that moved fairly quickly. I was hungry so I thought I’d be eating soon. Little did I know that many people call in their orders for themselves and their co-workers. My order took 30 minutes. I ordered their fish tacos. The fish was dry, the tortillas were very ordinary and the rest of the meager fillings were nothing special. I ended up feeling that I had either ordered the wrong thing or had chosen the wrong place to eat lunch. I liked their concept of local foods and their menu looks great and the staff was friendly. Worth another try???

Delicious local spot. Fish Tacos were fresh and delicious. My wife had the chicken salad with dill cucumber pasta salad, everything was great. Food came out fast. Maybe a touch pricey for the walk up style lunch place, but it’s Maui, brah.

Zing is not just for lunch! Breakfast is awesome too! I just went this morning & brought family that was visiting, they all agreed it was a perfect last meal before they left Maui:) The staff was so nice and friendly(like always) the Loco Moco was the best I’ve had in a long time and my cousin loved the croissant sandwich, she raved that they didn’t skimp on the bacon!

Enjoyed what we ordered which was the vegetarian burrito, Fuji apple salad, pita bread and hummus. Would’ve loved to try their portabello mushroom burger, which is their best seller, but they were already sold out. The price is good. One star off because it’s location is in a food court.

Classic breakfast options with a Maui twist! My husband and I shared the two egg breakfast and a side of fruit(bananas, grapes, and mango, oh my!) with a POG drink for good measure. The potatoes were delicious and seasoned well. The bacon was smoky and crispy in the perfect way. Great way to start the day! Simple and affordable.

Made a stop here after a flight from the airport for brunch. Got the Swedish pancakes– I enjoyed them they’re kinda like crepes with a yogurt/cream cheese mixture folded into them. My friends got the beet salad and breakfast burrito and both were also left scraping their plates at the end. The location itself seems to be an old food court right in town and when we got there around 1030a zing was the only thing open. There was available parking in the lot adjacent to the building. Staff was super friendly and make suggestions. If I’m ever in maui again will definitely stop by if I have a chance. 4.5*

Okay, so if there was no Unilocal then I have no idea how this place can be found. There is no signage and parking is non-existent. That is until you go to the back of the building. I dig the food and the concept, but the facilities are pretty bad. They do not do the food justice. The woman taking our order was super friendly and made recommendations which we loved. All in all, the food is good, but the building and presentation can use a little polishing.

I’ve been here several times, food is good. Today, I ordered a turkey sandwich(no bacon) and waited more than 20 minutes and still no sandwich. I had to ask for my money back. Place is busy but needs better management. Waiting 20 mins for a sandwich that requires no cooking is not right. Hopefully they can get it together.

Zings is a great place to get a good lunch. They have a great variety of foods and everything is good. I get the chopped salad. A blend of veggies, meat, cheese and egg. Has it all. Greens, carrots, radish, cukes and more, all fresh. Ham, turkey, bacon, cheese and egg. They don’t skimp on the ingredients. I love the citrus ginger dressing on it. A great meld of flavors. The fries are hand cut. They are not your crispy hollow kind but real hand cut. More like home fries. Tasty and filling. Zings has breakfast as well. Someday have to try it. Service is very friendly and as fast as they can make it. All homemade and delicious, don’t miss this one. Another Wailuku gem.

Loved this little place. There’s a reason the line is always long. The menu is great. Really enjoyed my chicken quesadilla even tho they were out of pork and that’s what I really wanted. My friend enjoyed her turkey sandwich. Lemonade and salad were also good!

I’m updating merely to add to my list of favorite things to order: ZAP aka Zing Arnold Palmer — fresh brewed tea and fresh squeezed lemonade Lili’s Chili Verde Chimichanga — I dream of this sometimes. Don’t you dare judge me!!! The chili is so delicious not too spicy where the kids can’t snag a bite. The salad that comes with helps offset the heaviness of the burrito. It’s perfection. Keiki Mac and Cheese — this is something that we have to order 2 of because we have a hard time sharing with the kids — wait I mean that the other way around ;) Fries — any flavor plain or garlic. These are real fries not the kind you buy in a bulk store. And yet so crispy and flavorful. One of my coworkers orders an entire side of fries to go with his meals! Even though it already comes with fries! Things I still need to try: Eggs Benedict Huevos Rancheros — that thing looks glorious. And Jamie mentioned I can order breakfast any time. So this review is likely to be updated a 3rd time with my love for this bistro serving up some enormous tastes!

Great service, tasty food and reasonable prices. We ordered the: 1) biscuits, gravy, sausage and eggs 2) Swedish pancakes 3) eggs Benedict All of them were really good but I must say that the biscuits and gravy was the best! The gravy was homemade with rosemary, the biscuits were fluffy, there were big chunks of sausage and it came with 2 eggs. It’s a huge serving, so go there with an appetite! And the lady at the front is really friendly and helpful. We will definitely return! :)

A friend recommended this place as she’s been here quite often and has«never had anything bad.» Good deal! ATMOSPHERE: They’re located on the bottom floor of the Main Street Promenade and part of the food court that’s half empty. Sorry, let’s be positive, half full. It’s a takeout counter only and there are some covered outdoor seats shared with the other eateries along Main St. MENU: Breakfast, salads, and sandwiches. FOOD: Reuben Sandwich — This is a big sandwich for $ 10. It came on toasted wheat bread with all the usual fixings and not skimpy at all. The side of fries were fresh cut and not crispy, unfortunately. Great taste, but I wish it came with some pickles on the side. SERVICE: Aulani took my order over the phone and helped me when I got there. Very friendly and professional. TIP: They use environmentally friendly paper takeout trays rather than styrofoam. OVERALL: Fresh food, soggy fries, great service, mainstream pricing.

I was really excited about a new restaurant opening in Wailuku, especially after seeing the Unilocal!reviews but if I’m being honest, I was disappointed. :( The staff was friendly, but service was slow and the food was just«OK». My sandwich(BBQ pork sandwich) wasn’t bad but didn’t taste like anything except for the bits of apple in the coleslaw, and the Zing soda just tasted like milk and sparkling water. My family also ordered a grilled cheese(again, just OK. Not bad, but not good) and a Mac and Cheese. The Mac and Cheese was the best part of our order. I’d try Zing again someday, but I probably wouldn’t order the same items.
