McDonald’s

Big Mac Mondays are a great deal cause for $ 7.80, you get a free Big Mac sandwich with purchase of a Big Mac meal. Well, tonight we went there at 9:18pm and was very surprised to see a line of cars in front and back of us as it was well past dinner time. The line was rolling and moving right along with very minimal wait time. So I figured that since it was quite busy, I was surely going to get fresh hot fries. SURPRISE! SURPRISE! Not only was the fries room temperature and chewy like it was sitting for a long time, but the Big Macs were also almost room temperature with barely any warmth to it. IT SUCKED EATING COLD FOOD! I dont understand how the workers could have so many Big Macs and fries pre-​made and sitting. Is it because the Dept. of Health food inspectors dont work at night so you dont have to worry that they’ll be coming by to check your food temp? I hope I’m not going to have food poisoning from eating this cold food that McDonalds served that was sitting for God knows how long. The best thing from this McDonalds tonight was the fruit punch and the pleasant worker that took my order and packaged the food at the exit window-​the one star is for her pleasant service.

SHOCKED that the owner turned the woman’s restroom into an employees only restroom with a locked keypad on the door. More SHOCKING was being told to use the” new” old men’s room as the unisex restroom… I was APPALLED, SHOCKED and UTTERLY DISGUSTED to walk into a man urinating in the urinal. He was shocked I was entering the «mens» restroom only to find out it was now unisex and he forgot to lock the door. Once I entered the unisex restroom and locked the door promptly I walked passed a filthy urinal and found an even more disgustingly filthy handicap toilet space where us woman are supposed to go. I walked out and told the manager on duty how inappropriate this change was. I don’t believe corporate MCD approved this change and it is apparent the owner of this location does not care about his customers at all. It is EXTREMELY RUDE to do this and I won’t be back. This review is going to be copied to Unilocal and every other social medium I can. ALL WOMAN should boycott this ridiculous and PATHETIC location.

Yesterday I witnessed the most unprofessional manager ever! This Mc Donald’s is very small, only about 8 tables. The manager and staff were taking up 3 tables for their staff meeting which was held in front of everyone. They were the first ones you saw as you came in, everyone could hear them. The manager was very rude, loud and a down right ass to her employees in front of everyone. I was shocked! I learned everything about bank deposits, freezer temperatures, and schedules. I couldn’t eat fast enough and get out of there. Never go to this Mc Donald’s, manager treats her staff like dirt!

I don’t know if this is more of a rant than it is a review. Unfortunately, I have a rather unhealthy diet. As kids, we’d say, «I could eat at McDonald’s everyday». I’ve kept that promise. I’ve eaten many breakfast (es), lunches, and dinners there. Majority of the time they’ll get the order correct. I never dock them for when they may make a mistake. However, there is one thing that I’ve found 100% consistent with many McDonalds on the island. It continues to boggle my mind on why McDonalds will charge you an extra $ 1 or so to get something «SuperSized» only to give you a «large» french fries container with barely enough fries to peak out the top. Though that’s a big issue with me, I find their soda issue to be more aggravating than anything else. I can’t stress how much I have come to HATE their automated beverage dispenser (used for drive thrus). I have ordered a large soda time and time again, drove up and have been handed a cup with a ton of room still left. There were times where I’ve asked that it be filled up. Sometimes I’ll get lucky and get someone who’ll fill the cup up with soda. On the other hand, sometimes i’ll strike out and get someone lazy who’ll fill the cup up with ice. In my head, I’m thinking, if I wanted ice, I would have asked for ice, but I’m asking for soda. It’s become a losing battle. I’ve even gone as far as tweeting them to no avail. Oh well.
p. s. the reason I’ve chosen this particular McDonald’s is because I frequent this one the most due to its distance from my house.
