Visited the store last night. Was kind of appalled of the type of music that was playing in the store. It was offensive with vulgar language. A couple of young men were working last night. The music was some what loud. Given this store is not quite in this type of setting to be playing this type of music was disturbing. I was with my children and didn’t stay too long even though a good sale was going on.

There’s a saying that goes: «Hat makes the man». Well, here in Hawaii, there are very few people who wear hats. Some people wear caps — maybe as a functional accessory to ward off the sunshine, but that’s besides the point… Could we say: «Shoes make the gal»? Do you judge others by the way they«clothe» their feet? Can you guess a person’s socio-economic status by the type of sneakers they don? Clarks footwear has been around for over 180 years. Their styles have changed and kept up with the times. I like their quality, durability, and comfort. You get what you pay for — and since I am «thrifty», I get my shoe fix at this outlet in Waikele. I first found out about Clarks from my mom(a level-headed, practical consumer). We would go shopping in Las Vegas at the outlets, but I didn’t like the higher sales tax and lugging bulky shoes back home to Hawaii. Enter Waikele Outlet’s Clarks Bostonian! There are so many styles and colors to choose from! There are special sales(Like buy one, get the 2nd pair for half off); a clearance area in the back; and sometimes a special discounted table in the front of the store! They also have a Loyalty punch card — which I usually forget to bring. The sales people are so nice and helpful! They gladly combine punch cards so you can get a better price! This is one of my favorite shoe stores(as evidenced by the variety I own)! I just had to thank Clarks for taking good care of my feet! I once danced the whole night away without blisters or complaints! That’s my «Happy Feet» story!
