Flagship Fastlube

Well was going well I have been coming here now for about a year but today oh my. So they did my old change and said check list to me that oil service was reset. But when I got in my car it was still on! Now I have been sitting here watching three different service attendants try to figure it out. The usual people that are here when I come are not here. Now they have printed something out to help them figure it out. You would think me spending $ 120 for a synthetic oil change something like this should not be a problem. It took a total of three people a computer and 15 minutes lol.

Never again, a $ 7 discount is not enough to drive another 10 miles for an inspection to be told the wait is 2+ hours #nope. Pulled in for a inspection, and was told that they no longer have an inspector at that location. Even though they still have an inspection station sign hanging on the wall. They apologized– Good — offered a discount — Ok — But I have to go to another location. — meh– I have already driven 25+ miles in traffic to get close to home. Ok I drive an additional 10 miles (round trip) to the Kapolei location, only to be told the wait was two plus hours. Sat dumb founded. Not worth the 7 dollar discount. nope, nope, nope. and Never again.

Broke-​college Student experiencing consistent coolant and water leak near front passenger tire. This was an urgent matter. I discovered this issue on a Monday, and carried 4 gallons of water in car, to refill reservoir and radiator after every destination. It was extremely inconvenient and daunting. I tried contacting family mechanic, unfortunately he had gone M.I.A and here’s where panic ensued: where would I find a fair and honest mechanic to tackle this issue, and soon?
After sifting through other family mechanic, I ran out of options and turned to a commercial auto repair shop: Flagship Fastlube– Their near home/​work and I’m familiar with their practices, procedures and prices. Due to a recent 1-​star episode at Flagship Fastlube Kapolei, I decided to visit their sister location in Royal Kunia (Kunia Camp/​Waipahu).
Tuesday. Called ahead to inform i’ll be pulling in with a serious concern, and customer service representative confirmed traffic is low and mechanic is present until end of business day. Perfect! Drove over, signed papers and turned my keys over. An hour later, I received a diagnosis: damaged water pump, and two other recommendations (serpentine belt/​tensioner and replace head gaskets). Estimated maintenance cost: $ 981.72. I needed to sleep on it. I drive a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan, and it didn’t make sense to sink money into a vehicle as outdated as mine.
Friday, I decided to repair the water pump, only. Arrived at 8 am – operations open. The mechanics, clerks and other patrons there were friendly and eager to help, knowledgeable and from what I’ve learned, native to the community of Waipahu and Leeward Oahu. $ 76 for parts, $ 240.00 for Labor, and $ 40 two quarts of antifreeze. Received confirmation this repair would be lengthy, parts would need to be delivered and wait time would be approximately eight hours. Before departing to Starbucks, I received estimated costs of parts & labor: $ 316. This gave me peace of mind. I left 6 hours later paying relatively close to $ 375 dollars for it.
Costly and overpriced, yes – but what commercial auto repair shop isn’t? Dealerships would charge more! Time consuming, not at all – I’ve repaired vehicles before that consumed a week of inconveniently carpooling with friends and family member. In all, a worthy investment for a vehicle i’ll use daily to commute to work and school. My car runs smoother than before the damages occurred.
Lastly, I would have given this experience 5-​stars based on mechanical expertise, except there were a few times where the female clerks left me questioning their credibility and professionalism such as; mispronouncing «antifreeze» (ANTI-​freeze) and taking a personal phone call with company resources, during our conversation.

I can’t tell you enough how wonderful the people are here. Everyone is friendly. They talk and go out of their way to make sure you leave with a smile. I’ve been coming here for a year now and this is the only place I bring my car. They help me out alot and it’s affordable a a good quality price. Come here you won’t regret it

Okay the first time I came here was at the beginning of the month, the clerks need to learn customer service. Plus they need to advise the drivers on the correct procedures if things need to be fixed before getting the safety sticker. I was told to get a bunch of things fixed and get my registration in order before they can issue the safety sticker… WRONG!!!
Please don’t listen to them, get the things corrected and take it back to them before getting your registration. It will save you time, gas and frustration.
I wish I went to the other Flagship Fastlube. Had friendlier service.

I went here today and it was the best place ever to get my safety done! I was greeted by a very anxious happy staff! And they told me that they would have my car done in 45 minutes. Low and behold my car was done in 20 minutes:) i am very satisfied with their customer service and awesomeness! I suggest if you need to get safety or anything else get it done here! Way better than Goodyear!

They are very good to me. I usually work with Tiffany, but if she isn’t there the other girls at the reception are nice too. I go there for anything that is wrong with my car and I don’t feel like i’m being ripped off. They also ask/​call me before they do anything to my car.
It can get busy so try to go when they first open at 8:00am and then don’t try to get your safety on the weekends because they only do safety checks during the work week.

Initial creating when I pulled up was friendly and genuine. They took down my information and I explained the service needed.
The waiting area was very clean and they have TV to help pass the time. Coffee would be a nice addition though!
They had me in and out of there within 30 minutes. They took the time to explain to me what my vehicle needed. They didn’t pressure me into purchasing anything other then the oil change I went in there for. Even handed me $ 10 off coupon.
They also have a military discount. This location is great if you’re looking for a friendly, quick, no hassle oil change.
I will return.

When an Estimated wait time of 1hr 45 minutes turns out to be a 30 minute wait… you’ve got yourself a 5 star on my books!!!
Realized last minute my safety was expiring .and it seemed like all safety Inspectors were out… on the last day of the month… drove all over the place on a Sunday :(. Referred to the kunia location from the aiea location with an inconvenience courtesy off my tab :) didn’t seem much but after shopping around I realized they had a better deal than what other shops (that was open) could offer at such a desperate time.(oil change included).

it took 2 hours for an alignment. the people were great, but didn’t keep me updated on what was going on except «itll be ready 10−15»…it made it hard because I have a personal business and I had to leave but couldn’t. The good part is that they were not busy when i came. so they were able to take my car in right away.

Meth head lady and her inbred son harassing and threatening customers in the waiting room for over an hour. Customers had to wait outside to escape her screaming insanity. Staff did nothing. I would never go there again. complete Ghetto.

I’ve been to both the Waipio and the Kunia locations for oil changes. I prefer the Kunia location. They were efficient, I was in/​out in 30 minutes. Customer service was very nice. At the Kunia location, they washed front/​rear windows, Vacuumed, added window wash fluid, toped off other fluids and balanced tire pressure. Waipio location always takes an hour and they didn’t clean the windows or vacuum.

Don’t go there, very poor service. Went there for safty inspection and the guy said my headlight bulbs don’t pass. He doesn’t know what D.O.T. compliant means, maybe he shouldn’t be doing inspections. They passed me all these years and now all of a sudden it don’t pass.

I cannot complain about this place. The people are very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Just this past week, they diagnosed a problem, had a separate expert look at it, took a few minutes and solved it through out-​of-​the-​box thinking. Now my a/​c works perfectly and they saved me over $ 1200 dollars. They COULD have offered to do the work and charged me… but no. I didn’t get charged for ANYTHING. Will I be back? Absolutely. Thanks, guys.

Sunday Service for your Automobile need. Yippee…

Fast service, and good recommendations regarding servicing my car, but no pressure.

I brought my minivan in to get a tire replaced. It was also due for an oli change so I had them do that as well. Customer service was top notch and the prices were good too. They even vacuumed all the sand out of the carpet! I’ll be going back to Flagship!

Flagship Fastlube serves it purpose for me. All I need when I come here is a quick oil change and/​or safety check for my P.O.S. (piece of sh*t) Honda Civic.
A regular oil change is $ 43.99 which is kind of expensive but I pay for convenience. A safety check here is $ 14.70. I am really bad at keeping appointments so the fact that I can come at my convenience is the best.
Other services are provided. There are package deals that can be purchased.
