Give to Live Guitar Studios

I am Bob Meyer, owner and teacher and promoter of Give To Live Guitar Studios. All the donations go directly to the charities and we handle no money. In fact, most of our concerts are toy drives for children with cancer and food collection for the needy. The 5 dollar ticket fee merely covers the costs of the venue. Any additional income earned gets taken by the charity at the show. We have public spreadsheets for every show that can be checked-​out at the Wake Forest location. Every student is urged to play every show. We usually have about 60 students performing at a benefit concert. We are playing the Sothland Ballroom on September 14^th 2013. It will be simulcast on our Youtube channel and will be a food collection event for the Tri-​Faith Food Pantry in Wake Forest. Come check us out and bring some canned goods. Concert begins at noon with SoulShine. Peace.

The highlight of many of our Art After Hours evenings in downtown WF, is going to see the students from Give to Live perform on the front porch on Jones Street. There is something so «School of Rock» about the experience. Having not taken classes myself, I can say that the experience of going to one of the benefit shows is something that every citizen of Wake Forest should take part in.
It seems from a previous review by James S. that a lot of assumptions are made. Leaving a review assuming something must be going wrong isn’t what Unilocal is all about and hopefully for those who are looking at these reviews, will know that Give to Live is a great organization that does give back to the community, as well as to the students. When you see youth belting out a Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks song as well as they do, you know that all is right with the world!

Impressive! Judging from the Porch Concert last Night at Second Friday Art After Hours this guy is Honing some Talent! Five Guitars and a Drummer Jamming from the Porch of the Studio! Wow! One Guy did a Eddie Van Halen sounding Solo! Fantastik ! ! ! They ALL sounded Great! My Bride (the Music Major) said she may enroll for Guitar Lessons She was so Impressed! Best Music of the Event with EASE!!!
