Sunflower Studio & Gallery

Excellent place for kids and adults alike to take classes! My 7 year old daughter has taken the Saturday kid’s workshops and I couldn’t be more pleased. They are two hours long, compared with some other studios that only offer one hour workshops. The extra time allows kids to take their time and not be rushed. The instructor is incredible with the kids and I can’t say enough about the non-​competitive atmosphere she creates. My daughter can’t wait to go back!

Co-​op Art Gallery! This is a GREAT Way to Promote Art! Cool old House. They also teach Classes and Host Art Events! The Jewelry in the Front of the Gallery was my Favorite part!

Update!
Brought my Bride and two Friends (you know what i mean) here Friday for the Second Friday «Art After Hours»! The Featured Artist was a Watercolor Painter… Incredible Works!

Sunflower Studio is an adorable little art gallery in Wake Forest, where local artists can display their work, sell it, and teach others how to do it. Sunflower is a part of the Art After Hours evenings in WF. This is a great time to visit as you can usually meet the artists, have a bit of wine and cheese, and mingle with other art admirers in the area. There is often a featured artist and a musician of some sort.
Sunflower also offers Paint Parties where you can either bring a group, or sign up for a group class and learn techniques of painting. Usually, everyone in the class has a canvas, and you all paint the same picture, using the prompts from the instructor. It is a great way to have fun, do something creative, and learn new skills in a great environment.

This is a cozy blue bungalow art gallery with various artists displaying their work. The Sunflower Studio Artists are very welcoming and friendly. The art is at various price points as well. If you are in downtown Wake Forest, I highly recommend a stop at the Sunflower Studio!

This is a cute little gallery/​studio in the heart of downtown Wake Forest. The bright yellow exterior of the building adds to the charm of what you’ll find inside. Different artists share studio space as well as exhibition space within the rooms of this charming old house. Always open for Art After Hours, this place is a unique little treasure to get your creative spirit going. Artists here are friendly and willing to chat it up about their inspiration for a piece as well as talk to you about technique. We always make a point to pop in and see what’s going on when we’re downtown!
