Gotta echo what Will L. said. I’m satisfied beyond words at the time and attention Brian gave to my issues and concerns a year ago when he recommended Altra shoes for my running style. A year later, I’m back for more shoes and Brian remembered me. Talk about customer service that is above and beyond… we just don’t have gems like these anymore. Highly, highly recommend Run N Tri outfitters!

Made the short trek from Raleigh, because I heard through the grapevine that these guys carry Altra running shoes. If you run in Altra’s, you know what I’m talking about. Owner, Brian, walks the walk and is incredibly knowledgeable about both his sport and his product. So friendly! The very best thing about this place, however, is a complete and total lack of any sort of pretension. Maybe you’re just a light/​casual jogger, and maybe walking into some other running outfitters in Raleigh is intimidating to you… or maybe some other running outfitters in Raleigh irritate the crap out of you with the ridiculous gear pushiness and drippy pretension. If so, you will find Run N Tri Outfitters to be an incredibly accessible and welcoming breath of fresh air. Highly recommend.

This is my new spot for all things running. Great place to get some Altras, nutrition, get with a run group, or just stop in and shoot the breeze. Good selection of technical running shoes, tri and running clothing. They carry a few biking items like seats, helmets, shoes, tubes and a few other small parts. No full bikes or rims. They have a decent little selection of swim supplies. They host a variety of product demos, run and tri clinics, and a weekly run or ride group. Solid family owned customer service.

The place just opened and glad it did. We do not have anything like this in Wake Forest. Met the owner and was one the nicest and most helpful person I have come across. He is also very knowledgeable which helps tremendously. Their selection is a little light but I am sure that will change. They have a great attitude in educating on what you need for the activity that you want to do. They will definitely see more of me there. Really enjoyed my first visit.
