Really? You clean the soft serve machine by 9:30 and you say you don’t have soft serve? Bring back the nice high school kids and get rid of the entitled college grads.

Love this place! There are so many low fat and non fat soft serve flavors! Waffle cones are delicious as is the hard ice cream! I like the old school soda fountain/​ice cream shop feel and that I can get a raspberry lime rickey here. This place has always employed college students so be sure to leave a tip for their education :)

Love the old fashion feel to this place. They have coffee and ice cream along with homemade chocolates. When my son has won an award for being Good we go and get some of the penny candy. It is not a penny but it is cheep and great selections. i will definitely be getting his birthday cake from there this summer. There ice cream is to die for too! I keep getting their mint chocolate chip ice cream. Yum!

Love it here! They have so much to choose from. I got the canoli ice cream which was very good and my friend got moccachio soft serve, which looked yummy too. I love how its retro here. They also have candy too. Would definitely come back. It’s also near the lake too, which is a plus.

They have a variety of flavors and kinds of ice cream (soft serve, fat free), lots of candy and awesome service. I could eat the mochachino soft serve all day! It’s very quaint and retro. A great place to stop by for a treat.

The ice cream and the ice cream cakes here are amazing!!! I’ve gotten 3 different cakes from them and they were all delicious. Coffee heath-​bar was my favorite though. Also, their malted chocolate soft serve ice cream was delicious! My husband got pistachio soft serve and loved it! Can’t wait to come back :-)

We love Cravings icecream. For my daughter’s birthday, she requested and ice cream cake. We got the chocolate chip with fudge in the center. My family really enjoyed and my daughter is asking when we can get another one. They make all their own icecream.

It’s best to stick to hard ice cream flavors that don’t have any mix-​ins (i.e. go for Vanilla vs. Chocolate Chip). They are VERY skimpy on their mix-​ins across all flavors. I’ve had both the Purple Cow and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut flavors and can count on two hands the number of chips that were in the ice cream for both flavors combined. As a customer since childhood, the quality of the ice cream has gone downhill.
The soft serve variety of flavors is awesome! However, only if the staff of mostly teenage kids have properly cleaned the machine from the previously mixed flavor and know what they are doing.
Two stars because the prices are alright, location is good, and I have a soft spot for places from my childhood! I’d say make the drive to Richardson’s or Dandelion’s for quality ice cream and good service.

Cravings is easily the best place for ice cream in Wakefield. There is fast, quick, service as well as friendly employees. I come here once every so often with friends. The interior has a retro look which I have always enjoyed.

Despite some negative reviews, all and all it wasnt bad. I had the pistachio on a cone. It was delicious, plenty of nuts and no green additive for coloring! Id go back… of until there was something bad that I could see.

Beautiful old fashion ice cream shop. I had the cannoli ice cream and my mom had the coffee. I loved the cannoli ice cream, I had never had that flavor and it was off the charts. My mom had the coffee and she said it was the best coffee ice cream she ever had. Great job guys!

Loved the atmosphere, and the staff was super nice, but the ice cream here is… bland. I had the vanilla soft-​serve, and there’s no flavor to it. It’s almost as if they forgot to put sugar in, or cream. It’s kind of like an ice milk, if that makes sense. There’s no creamy texture to it like other soft-​serves have. I didn’t want to finish mine but since I was hungry, I ate it anyways.
Anyways, the candy selection looked pretty amazing.

After a nice visit at Wakefield lake, we took the kids for some ice cream at Cravings — only to be sitting there an see a Roach on the floor! When we told the staff the kid working there said «this is why I can’t stand working here «and the young girl said «it’s only a baby one ». Not that an apology would have fixed the fact that we were eating with a roach under our table but they didn’t say anything they were laughing ! We left in a panic but should have taken a picture I was too shocked to even think of it. I will be calling the board of health tomorrow !!! Apparently this wasn’t a first occurrence if the kid an girl both made comments like that. Don’t eat in this ROACH PLACE !! Only reason they got a star is because it wouldn’t let me post .

Yuck! The mocha Oreo frozen yogurt was gross. There were bits of something but certainly not Oreo. Not worth the $ 4.70, tossed it in the trash outside

Cravings is awesome. The ice cream is delicious, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is cooler than any ice cream parlor I’ve been to.
We came to Cravings after a night of lackluster service at a nearby restaurant, needing a pick me up. Cravings delivered. If you’re anywhere north of Boston and in need of some ice cream, go to Cravings. Best ever.

The teenager behind the counter walked in off the street holding a skateboard, didn’t wash his hands and immediately went to work. He kept touching his bare scalp and using his cellphone. Then he asked me what I wanted. Nothing, thanks very much!
His supervisor, who just stood there, should be ashamed. Kids won’t learn if you won’t teach them. And the Board of Health needs to pay this place a visit.

My favorite ice cream parlor! A nice variety of flavors including seasonal varieties. And don’t forget the candy selection — great selection of kids candy as well as a case of nice grown-​up choices as well.
Order a size down from what you think you want as the portions are very generous.
And the buy-​twelve-​get-​one-​free program is nice and keeps me coming back! (When my purse was stolen a few years back one of my many laments was that I had a free ice cream card in my wallet!)

Yes it it’s that good plus they let you sample a little of the candy toppings as well we all sampled quite a bit I almost couldn’t finish the yogurt but we did they have sweet and sour Legos so delishious that’s what I sampled on my black raspberry yogurt and they have every flavour you can imagine it was the candy Heaven the candy that you haven’t seen In A while like candy cigs ‚? Nowhere has these penny candy a blast from the past right !!

Not bad on price for ice cream with add-on’s are a bit pricy everywhere but so worth it satisfies and you yogurt and candy In one !! Beat that
