Lisas Pizza allows you to have the authentic flavor of Italian thin crust inside the comfort of your own home. I’ve spent a good amount of time travelling all my life, for work or recreation but I’ve always returned for«Number 2». There are a few places that allows the customer to feel at home like the manager and his team has done here. My whole family spends their dinners around the table over a pizza and onion rings. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else for the savoring taste of Italian pizza. Don’t get me wrong, their sandwiches and wings are equally as delicious but I’m still entranced by their fresh goat cheese and mozzarella. I’m not sure why there are poor reviews of this place, perhaps people are too quick to judge. Even if your first experience wasn’t up to your standard, I challenge you to come back and not leave with a full stomach and smile. Thank you from my family and I for years of pizza parties and long nights studying.

Placed a large order $ 150 worth and paid over the phone the day before. The driver arrived 30 minutes before they were supposed to arrive at 12:30PM and couldnt understand that we didn’t have cash for a tip. His English was very poor and he kept yelling and repeated«tip, tip, tip». I later called the pizzeria back to add the tip and requested they e-mail me the new receipt… 20 minutes later, still no receipt. Called back again and they told me they were«busy and would send it by close of business». Needless to say, will NOT be ordering from Lisa’s again!

I like this place. Good pizza and even better meatballs. It is mostly a takeout business and cartering business. The sauce is top notch and you get plenty of it. There is decent parking nearby with a public parking lot next to the dunkin donuts. They have a pretty standard menu and I recommend this place.

There are but a few times when a simple pizza is SO delicious that I feel the need to post a review, but Lisa’s MEGA pizza is nothing short of impressive. Great flavors on a huge 19″ thin crust that requires a fold to eat without making a mess! The sauce is light, mild, almost sweet and bursting with flavor, and the robust cheese is a perfect complement; no a salty flavor like many pizza cheeses have. Very fast and friendly delivery, accurate order, great food quality, flavor, and heat; the perfect order at the right price! Lisa’s is my new ‘go-to’ for pizza when I am in Wakefield(often)

My friends and I wanted to try a new pizza place around here, and we found Lisa’s. Honestly I wasn’t expecting a lot because small towns always seem to have the same mediocre pizza, but their reviews were good and they deliver to surrounding towns(yay!) So anyways, ordering online was extremely easy, and the website gave us the time the pizza would be delivered. It actually showed up ten minutes early and everything was very hot… and again, we had it delivered to my friends house in Reading, so that’s really awesome. We ordered a large Margherita and half sicilian with sausage/mushroom. I loved the Margherita pizza. The sauce had great flavor, fresh basil, and it was HUGE. Enough to feed like 4 – 5 people. I didn’t try the sicilian but my friends liked it. A little expensive but a great change from the same 5 pizza places that I always go to.

This is as average as it gets. It’s not the best, it’s not the worst. Average. I can point out that I have not had any problems with the delivery. One of the main features of the pizza is the size. One slice here is pretty much two slices anywhere else. Oddly so, I feel the size somehow takes away from some of the taste. After eating, I never felt like I had a great filling meal. I’ve yet to try anything else on the menu, but I wouldn’t mind ordering something else since wherever I am, this pizza is constantly being ordered.

We called an order in recently to pick up. We originally found a menu online that said they had everything to offer, including roast beef. So when we called we started with two juniors… but before we could go on, we were interrupted with the kid saying«we no longer have roast beef.» um… what?.. OK. Once we collected ourselves and scrambled to think of something else, we ordered a salad with grilled chicken, tuna sub, chicken finger dinner and mozzarella stick. The chicken fingers were delicious, really great. Salad with chicken was great too. However the tuna sub wasn’t so good, it was basically a celery sub with a little tuna. Why do people put celery in tuna? I’ve never understood that.(minus one star, pictured). I ended up taking the tuna out and putting a chicken finger inside the bread, which was delicious. The mozzarella sticks weren’t bad either. The place is REALLY small, no where to sit inside, so don’t plan on stopping in for a quick lunch. Take out only. We have heard the pizza is really good, so we’ll be trying that next. Update to come!

It’s been a tough transition from Malden finding a strong pizza joint(Pisa Pizza, how I miss you), but Lisa’s is by far my favorite pizza place in Wakefield. Delicious NY style pizza with high marks for consistency. A few more deliveries and this place could win the battle of the north shore. Assuming such a battle exists.

We ordered from Lisa’s tonight as we were looking for a gluten free pizza and Lisa’s delivered an amazing pizza. We got the gluten free pizza and when it arrived, it was hot, full of flavor, and served in a metal pan I assume that it was cooked in. The cheese was plentiful and the sauce was perfect! Plus, the price was great for it. Also, we ordered a tuna sub. The sub was made as ordered with all the fresh veggies I requested on a whole wheat wrap. It was also wrapped securely. The delivery driver was pleasant and friendly. The order taker was so nice, also! She repeated the order and we didn’t expect delivery to be so fast. It arrived within 25 minutes! I would recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be keeping Lisa’s as a go-to for pizza night.

Lisa’s never lets me down. I just moved to Wakefield 6 months ago from Brooklyn NY. I tried a few pizza places in the area and they just made me homesick. I knew moving to the area the pizza would not be the same as back home. I honestly had some of the best pizza back in New York. But I have to give Lisa’s credit. They’re pies are some of the best I’ve had. The classic pepperoni pie was amazing. So good. I also tried some of their apps and I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks and chicken wings. I hardly ever write reviews on Unilocal unless the place blows my mind. So here you are. On top of everything the staff are wicked friendly. They don’t seem«rushed» when placing your order and they give you the time and attention that is lacking in the pizza industry these days. 5 stars for a reason. Rock on Lisa’s!

I totally recommend this great little pizza place in the middle of no where. Great pizza!!! My son won’t eat any other pizza than Lisa’s. They are always fast and have reasonable prices. I wish they stayed open a little later.

I’ve ordered from Lisa’s Wakefield several times now. I’ve only ever ordered their Fireside pizza with whole wheat dough for pickup so I can’t comment on their other numerous offerings or delivery style. It’s too good to stray from. What I can tell you is they don’t skimp on toppings with the pizza ready when they say it will be fresh and warm, crust just crunchy enough for me. I guess I might prefer a little more sauce but you can ask for it. I love how they offer whole wheat dough but only on their 14″ pizzas according to their website. Someone has always answered the phone within a couple rings. I find their employees to be friendly and professional. Apparently you can order from them online off their own website and even customize your own pizza pretty extensively but I couldn’t find an option to select cash for payment so I called them instead via this antiquated device called the«telephone». Lisa’s is a tiny take-out joint only. They could get a liquor license… or stick a few tables on their roof. Maybe then I’ll award five stars. :-)

Tried lisas for first time yesterday and have to admit it was the best pizza I’ve had since I lived in NY. The crust was thin and tasty, not too saucy and the cheese wasn’t too salty as it is in most pizza places. Staff was very friendly and helpful, highly recommend !!!

They’ve gotten my order wrong as often as they’ve gotten it right. I contacted management a few months back, they apologized, but no coupon or anything. Took a brake from ordering there based on the issues, tried them again for the first time in months, and they got my phone order wrong yet again, after I reviewed it with them twice and had them read it back to me a final time. Plenty of other pizza places in the area… if order accuracy isn’t a priority…
